@@NC_outdoorsman very cool man, thanks. i'm working with a 10 foot pelican boat which is a composite plastic that i don't wanna drill into but can clamp stuff too. did the arm work pretty well? edit: also wanted to say, i've used an everstart boat battery before and it worked great for me. my trolling motor measures battery life in 1-5 bars, and i could use the battery all day and still have 2 or 3 bars leftover.
@@robloxandminecraftgamer9350 the clamp does great for a slower boat, when I went from the 2hp to the 10hp it was dragging along the side and caused water to splash up. It would probably be perfect for the pelican boat. Yeah I’m completely satisfied with the battery, no complaints at all!
@@NC_outdoorsman I think it sounds pretty perfect as well, I don't even have an gasoline motor on it lol. I just use a little 55 lb thrust trolling motor and run a few mph
Very nice little starter rig for getting after the fish ! Good job my friend! Hope you catch some big ones !
Thank you!
Sweet boat I have the same boat and same engine that battery is perfectly fine
@@robertmoody2221 thanks man! I love this boat!
What arm did you use for the transducer?
At this point in the build, I used a Scotty grand removable arm. Later on, I changed it which you can see in my more recent build videos.
