Picked this up second hand at an antiques fair for £200 pounds with bracelet. Truly amazing watch for the style and finish. Was always a fan of the original Dreadnought, but I only have smaller wrists
its so interesting that theres almost NO videos about this watch on youtube. Its an insane watch tbh. I managed to purchase my polar baby dreadnought yesterday. Cant wait to have it =)
great review, one of the reasons why I got one myself. Which was then quickly taken from me by my best female friend. So I do get to see it once in a while, just not on my wrist 😀 I have now ordered the PRS-21 Dreadnought Voyager GMT as a gift for my son - and another one for myself. Best value, great design, just make sure you use Loctite on the bracelet screws like it says in the manual!
Oh your son is lucky, that will be a fantastic gift. My watch has "inherited early" a few of the watches from my collection. Good tip on the Loctite, I just found out they have a weaker version that holds but isn't totally permanent.
Wow, I absolutely love this watch! What a cool, rugged, and controlled tool this is. And all that in a proper size. Have to get one asap! Thanks for the review, good job, and interesting comparison to the Squale (which I also like, own a 1510 and a 1545)
Yes, this one is really under the radar and is an awesome watch! They are tricky to get you have to sign up for the time factors email and then he will let you know when the store is opening. I think it opens about once a month for orders.
It is a phuture classic tool watch, love the original 44mm and the GMT42mm version but this baby dreadnought is a great sizeat 38mm for a smaller wrist and everyday use, not my 1st watch from Timefactoters iv had a few over the years my PRS 20 and this Baby Dreadnought are definitely keeper's with in my microwbrand collection iv come to realise over the last 20 years that there is no real need to spend £££££ on a watch iv sold them all off put money into other things and really enjoying well made watches like this for not a lot of money Timefactoters is a company to keep a eye on
Yes that original 44mm version looks so cool. I agree with the diminishing returns on more expensive watches, I'm having more fun on the affordable end.
Great watch and a fantastic review. I have been looking at Sinn and wasn't sure I could deal with its sparse aesthetic but this is awesome and I do wear my watches hard!
I have one of these and can honestly say it gets a lot of wrist time. More than my EZM1, more than my 5513, more than my Damasko, more than my Explorer and more than my BB58. The reason they don't get much exposure is they are undervalued as a watch and as a brand. Hunt one down or wait for TF next sale.
Hi, I have owned a BabyD for about a year, it's the 3rd watch I have purchased from TF. This watch "beats the pants off "my TAG cal5 and is on par with my :Longines HydroC, Oris Aquis, Armand Nicolet MJ9, Marc&Son and Revue Thommen Divers. The only 2 watches I own which are better are, my: Muhle Glashutte SAR and my Limes Endurance 2Th, both German timepieces.😁😁
Lovely piece, guess i'd go with the white dial, but that's just me. Another great review mate, be well, cheers. PS Hands are Omega Proplof, all the way. Used in Spinnaker Dumas too. And others... many watches to choose, if you like the style. PS2 No cat approval? Still behind the blinds? 😋
Ah, the hands have a very fancy name, but now that you mention it, I have seen them on quite a few watches. Sadly, she didn't make an appearance this week. She loves hiding behind those blinds and spying on the neighborhood.
Agree with all your +/_ points & good review. It literally does scream tool & looks more expensive than its price indicates plus i can see the influences from the afore mentioned brands but its definitely its own thing in a uniquely styled package ,plus love the name ,i'd hang on to this one if i was you the guys at Timefactor have definitely done something exceptional here imho... not my usual thing but the more i look at it the more i want one.
Some interesting watches on your channel. I shall subscribe and investigate further when more time allows. This is a good looking watch, I prefer the polar version. It has the same hour and minute hand as my Spinnaker Dumas. Only part I'm not so keen on is the bezel as the numbers look a bit lost in the other markings being all the same size.
My friend just showed me this guy (in white) yesterday and I instantly fell in love. The fact that his shop is only open for a limited time on a certain day, makes it all more exciting. Thankful they made one in black ;

Nice find! Yes, the original is incredible looking but I too have small wrists haha!
Thank you for the video great to see the size. Would be to small for me so the Dreadnought Voyager PRS-21 GMT would be a better buy.

Hope you enjoy it! Let me know what you think when you get it!
sure i will! its due to arrive next monday@@JustWatches1

How did your son like his PRS-21 Dreadnought did it fit his wrist ok?
The badge on the back is the badge of HMS Dreadnought (S101), the Royal Navy’s first nuclear submarine.
Awesome, thank you! Yes, that makes sense considering the name and inspiration of the watch :)
Very cool and unique watch. Not sure why it doesn’t get more attention, this seems to be the only review on YT. Great job thank you
Much appreciated! Definitely a sleeper for such a cool watch!

Not sure why it took me so long to find this watch. Awesome review. This is a nice find, don't see this around a lot. I love the rugged look.
Such a great watch, and really underappreciated.

I still want to get a Sinn in for review! I've never seen one in person.

This is a very special and unique watch, glad to hear you are enjoying it so much, despite the heavy hitters in your collection!
Mine arrives tomorrow can’t wait
I'm going to order one next time the site is open, does your bezel line up? Thanks.
Did it arrive, how do you like it?
How are you enjoying it? I am thinking about trying to get one
@@WatchUnwind definitely recommend ,great quality and Lume , I’ve ordered a black and orange rubber strap and think it will go well
@@Mace-pw7bh wasn’t able to get one when the website went live lol I’ll try again next time

That is very high praise!! I was super impressed by this watch - it definitely feels special in a way that many watches do not!
I also own the hydroconquest. Would you say the two are on par with quality:finishing aspects ?
Lovely piece, guess i'd go with the white dial, but that's just me. Another great review mate, be well, cheers.

White dial is pretty cool I can’t decide what I like more the white or the black
@@WatchUnwind The old joke goes: Jesus loves Black and White, but he prefers Johnnie Walker! Cheers!

Agree! So unique, really didn't think I would like it as much as I do!

Welcome aboard! I have yet to try out a Spinnaker. I should get one to review!!

Yes, it is a rare bird for sure. The white dial looks beautiful!
Thinking about trying to get one of these. Not sure if I want to go for black or white
4:04 "Everything lines up nicely at 12" - Maybe not. 😆
That extra click brings out the OCD in all watch enthusiasts
Yes, it was an extra click off, but now that I look at it, the alignment isn't actually perfect.
I think the logo means it has received some sort of British military approval.
Somebody commented above "The badge on the back is the badge of HMS Dreadnought (S101), the Royal Navy’s first nuclear submarine."
It's an amazing watch but nearly £900 there's alot of other better choices
this one is only £360! I think the original version was 900!
