This is on my list since I first saw it. I really dig the green dial one. As I already own 2 Edifice and 1 G-shock, can't bite the bullet yet but definately a good looking model. Very nice review and thanks for sharing.
21mm and 19mm should be outlawed, 16, 18, 20, 22 or 24 for really big watches are the only sizes you need. 1mm bigger would make no difference to the look but would make it better. Mini rant over it actually looks pretty good. Never had an edifice though, but curious to try one now.
Yes, industry standards please! I always try to get the collection to all 20mm so I can use any strap with any watch, but this is a real wrench in the gears. They are really great you should check one out!
Great review thanks. 42mm with the 50 l2l wears great for my 7.25ish in. wrist. Dial, hands and indices all look fantastic. Classy case design. Classical looking everyday sort of watch. That probably explains the 21 mm bracelet, as the watch is 42 in diameter, the bracelet is 50 percent of that. A 22mm bracelet would look more modern, while 20 would look off due to diameter. I think the green will look amazing.
Makes sense, although I think it would have been fine with a 20mm lug width. 22mm works for me as well, especially when using a tapered strap. They could probably make it work visually with a different profile/thickness of the lugs, 1mm isn't a big difference.
Ah yes, you are probably right. They are shooting for the right balance of the bracelet to the case. I think it would be OK to be 1mm different, but perhaps it would look off.
Been waiting for this review! It’s a nice looking watch. Though too big for us slim wristed folk. Not sure how it can be 100m WR with no screw down case back or crown. Though I really like the brushed bracelet. They would do well to bring this out in a 38mm size. Disappointing the lume is so bad.
The lume would be a great place for improvement. The WR is just as good with a push pull crown, the only thing the screw down helps with is accidently deploying the crown.
It would have been perfect if it was like this - Rolex Explorer + Omega Aqua Terra + 36 - 38 mm dial + Sapphire crystal with a slightly higher price due to the last one. Would have bought it right away! 😁 Thanks for this wonderful and first ever review of this model.
@@JustWatches1 can’t wait for the review! I already own the efv 100 and I’m excited for the 150, especially the 150L variant with its leather strap and the black pinstripe dial. The bracelet variant has a plain gloss black dial. Just hope they did a 20mm lug this time. Fingers crossed!
I bought a Casio ten years ago for 40 euros. But every year I change the battery for only 1.5 euros, even though it fell into the water and stayed on for a whole day. Repair for only 4 euros. And still this moment. good.
21mm kills it for me. Case back, crown and case details are a downgrade, too. They probably did this on purpose, since 100/110 is "too good"? If we judge it alone, then it is fine, but when compared to previous release makes it disappointing. PS: I don't think " the champion" is in danger here, there's not a single thing that is better and dial style is a matter of preference, given the fact the old dial is still pretty well executed and somewhat cleaner.
This is basically an EFV100 without the screw down crown oh dear casio what were u thinking shame too as i think there minimal edifice range are the best too !!!!!
YES YES YES, THERE IS BASTET!!! In fact cat tested and ingored, but that's common for cats....😋😂😂😂 As for the watch, one step forward two steps back. Not as sporty as 100, more "serious wannabe", but many "fouls" committed. I surely need to digest these before i give it a go, so far 100 is a winner in my eyes. (although hands are better here) Thanks Jason, glad you showed this up. Be well mate, cheers. PS Just so you don't search, Bastet is an ancient egyptian goddess, in the form of a cat...
Well now I am twice as curious about Bastet! Yes, this one gives and takes a bit, hard to top the 100, but I'm glad Casio is keeping these coming for now.
I really hope they keep up with these simple models. They're an industry standout.
Agree! Keep them coming!

Yeah, I don't think it will displace my EFV-100, but it's a fun one. the green dial looks especially fun. Thanks for watching!
This one really remind me of the Aqua Terra and if it was 38 mm i would've purchase it tomorrow morning. Great review!
Strong Aqua Terra vibes for sure. Yes, I'm disappointed this isn't available in two sizes ( as far as I know so far).
As I replied on another comment, if this is too big for you, there's a smaller option (ref. Edifice EFV-110D) at ~35mm
Wow, that was quick, the watch came out less than a month ago. Great review
Thanks, I have been waiting for some new 3 handers from the Edifice line for a while!

Stunning looking watch, also great quality filming!

@@edhveidhrejesh6457 Hi. Thank you. I have it. It’s a perfect size 👌
@@the_9ent Awesome, congratulations! If you have any pictures posted on watchcrunch or pinterest, please send them!
Beautiful watch. Great review.
It really is, thank you for watching :)
This one is a beauty! Thanks for sharing. I had an edifice watch that came broken :( will have to try an edifice again at some point.
Ah, bummer it came broken. Yes, they are really fun watches, especially for the price!
Thank you mate.please tell me steel strap or leather strap ? Which is durable

That would be really nice I agree. It's a shame they do sapphire on some models and not others! You are most welcome :)
Great review!
Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for watching!
The new efv 150 model is out. Time for another review and head to head!
Thanks for the tip, I will check it out!!

Thank u…plz do other model of this watch…eagerly waiting…
Another colorway? I can see about it!
Great review and a good alternative to tje 100D which is feel it really is unbeatable value and design
Agreed! The 100D is one of the best watches period.
Hi. good review. I've been waiting for two months for this review. Please tell us where to buy this watch in Europe. Thank you
Not sure if they ship to Europe, I got it from H2 Hub based out of Singapore.
Thank you
Love the green dial. Where did you purchase this? Can’t find it anywhere.
I got it from H2 Hub based out of Singapore.
The crystal seems very reflective. I think I will swap it out for ar coated saphire crystal when I decide to keep this watch.
Yes, that would be a great upgrade tot his watch!

Thanks for reporting in on the durability of the watch in your experience!
My edifice 140d has no lume😢
Wait really? Ah bummer I’m sorry
2 years later.. Available for around $60 here in India..
Oh nice, not bad at all, thanks for checking in!
Excellent review. Would like to see this model in a 38mm.
You and me both, haha!
where did you order this online?
I got it from H2 Hub, but it looks like they have it on Creation Watches now too!
Explorer alternative ? It's got the 'look'.
This one reminds me more of the Aqua Terra, but it has a great look either way.

Yes, I don't think it will dethrone the champ, but I want to give it a shot. I think they sort of broke the mold with the 100/110.
Where did you buy it???
H2 Hub based out of Singapore. Shipping took a bit, but it was a fine experience.
It has got a eBay channel?
I would like to buy too but in Europe it’s not available.
What's the width of your wrist
6 and 3/4 inch
Compare this watch with 100d…that wud be awesome…plz
It is coming soon :)
Omega aqua terra by Casio…kudos.
Exactly! Thanks for watching :)
where the hell can i buy this?
I picked it up from www.h2hubwatches.com/
I think this is a huge step back compared to the EFV-100/ 110. Case is poor, no screw down crown.
Fair! I think I prefer the 100/110 as well, but I'm giving it a shot!
This is basically an EFV100 without the screw down crown oh dear casio what were u thinking shame too as i think there minimal edifice range are the best too !!!!!

Ha! I don't think Omega thinks about Casio at all :P
@@JustWatches1 I'm sure Casio keeps Omega up at night. Casio's sales performance is enough to scare anyone haha 😂
SECOND HAND IS NOT EXACTLY ALIGN TO THE EDGE AT SOME SECOND SEE IN THIS VIDEO SO THIS IS NOT A PERFECT WATCH (45 AND 51 SECOND IS NOT PERFECT)
👍
👍🙂
Tag heuer aquarecer 200m quartz
Oh, it looks like that watch as well. Thanks, I wasn't familiar with this model.
Simply go for casio mdv 107 instead of this....I bet its way more worth it and you won't regret.....
That Casio is an excellent watch
