I just bought the Wilton Deluxe Tip Set. And I had no idea what the flower nail was! Thank you! I do have a question. What is the best type of icing to use when doing flowers? Can it be store bought or does it need to be a homemade? I'm just starting out any advice would be appreciated! 🧡
Hi Tomi! You can freeze or refrigerate the flowers until they are firm and the wax paper square will easily pull off. If you are using the flowers right away we recommend using our flower lifter: www.wilton.com/flower-lifter/417-1199.html
Hi! Once the flowers have been chilled and are firm you can pull them off of the flower square. If they are fresh, you can use our flower lifer: www.wilton.com/flower-lifter/417-1199.html
I got a flower nail in the Wilton 20 tip set (the one with the plastic organizer and a coupler in the middle) Anyways I used it for the first time the other day and the nail head fell off after the second flower!! It didn't sustain heavy damage or anything, I just moved my finger up and it snapped off Anyways I won't be buying Wilton brand nails again but I figured I'd give a warning to others and maybe advise Wilton to please make your glue stronger Not that I'll be buying more of them >~>

Great description of how to turn the flower nail for right- or left-handed instead of trying to remember counterclockwise or clockwise- thank you!

Why can't I keep the parchment paper on the nail without it sliding around I can't get petals to stick to the paper either! :(
Put a tiny bit of icing between the paper and nail
