Snook - Redfish & 2 You Tubers in a Florida National Wildlife Refuge 2024

- For the Second Year in a row Yuriy....AKA Fishy Angler a You Tube Channel made the trip from Delaware to flip some plastic in the Chassahowitzka National Wildlife Refuge here on the Florida Nature Coast in Bayport.....We lost more fish than we caught but managed to find Snook and Redfish in most locations!!

Thanks Ron!! So far the bite has been reel good....Sometimes the critters get the better of you....Some days it's fishin' and other days it's catchin'.....Yuriy and I are grinders....We just keep on Flippin'.....LOL!!
He must have enjoyed the first time enough to come back and do it again. (He does have a great guide)
Thanks Rande!! The first trip last year in April turned into Gale Force Winds from the SW.....I surfed all the way to the Refuge and he got his First Snook and Redfish.....Yuriy found out you can't use any out of the box lures with the original 1X junk hooks.....Bent hooks are the norm up there so I changed a Yo-Zuri suspending twitcher with 4X VMC's....He got to see a lot more of the Refuge this time....

Thanks Don!! We traveled a lot in the back water and I was pleased with the number of strikes.....Just not so much with the hook-ups.....The critters are getting reel difficult to catch.....LOL.....Enjoy the weekend!!

Sometime after August 17 into September.....I think this is when school starts back up.....I like the peace to enjoy my stay and not deal with all the congestion and IDIOTS on the water and this time period allows me to have a good time without all the craziness.....Hopefully this year I won't have to deal with another storm.....LOL!!

Thanks Dave!! That might be a possibility....I'm getting to the point I only want to take people on rare occasions anymore......People just expect way too much and I can't stand the attitudes!!
@@WesLovelace Its actually rare for me to fish with anyone just for that reason with the attitudes.
@@DaveRobb Nobody seems to understand the complexity of this place until they get lost or destroy their engines....It's the reason I have very little competition which is the reason I enjoy my time in the Refuge!!
@@WesLovelace That is how I am with my kayaks. We don't have a refuge around here. I do love fishing around mangroves
@@DaveRobb Every waterway here is full of Mangroves.....It's a Mangrove Jungle!!
