Nicks got that big cat fever and I’m so here for it!!!
That cat scratch fever oh he's got it.
Same....I love the enthusiasm ....I just know how hard it is to catch a cat that big from bank lol
Hahhaha I Said the same thing and his likes and viewership shot up by a thousand plus so people want to see the giants
I’m glad I’m not the only one who falls down fishing. The triple digit will come. Great video.
Gotta be careful with those falls....a buddy of mine just had a fall on a jetty on the Mississippi and knocked himself out and woke up neck deep in the water....luckily he was on the side where current was pushing him into the jetty and not away from it....he ended up with a couple herniated discs and is currently out of work til he can get it fixed
Nick. Can I pass on some advice regarding your net for landing the fish. Over here in the Europe we use a specialist large fish landing net designed for fish over 50lb 60lb. Mainly used for our mamount sized carp and european wels catfish. I think you should look into sourcing one for your big fish adventures, just so you don't struggle to land the big cats your targeting.
Nothing like getting off school and watching 618
Or getting off work lol
beautiful creek, the gar was fun, and im glad you let the carp go, big guy earned his freedom!
Nick has come along way since the creek and puddle fishing the one thing that hasn't changed is his respect for fish!! way to go buddy☮️
one thing abouut puddle fishing, those fish can be used for bait,or for stocking
Some good catches! Sadly the storm shortened your trip but hey you never give up! Thanks for taking us along and hope you’re ok from all those falls you encountered. Have a great weekend and catch you next adventure!
Drums are under rated..they are a really fun fight especially when you hook into a 20lber on an ultralight with an 1/8oz white rooster tail
"there's a dead armadillo"
"This spot looks amazing"
Day 2
That string of sentences cracked me up. Sums up my fishing experiences for the most part though 😅
I like the music on your videos as well as the great camera work. The fishing is fun too! 🐟
Nick getting bored with just fishing, so he is mixing in some parkour for excitement. 🤣 Here on the Ohio river near the Muskingum river outlet, Skipjack are King for catfish. I think it has to be the "oily" flesh they have. Rock on 🤘😎
Your enthusiasm and love of fishing is a joy to watch great channel
That spider jump scare really got me..😂
Nick, triple digit cats are getting real close to records. Love the enthusiasm, and you may be waiting awhile. More content though
Wow! A huge 100lb Cat! Oh hell yeah Nick!! 😍😍😍😍😍 Cant wait to see this! I hope!!
I'm here for the fun bait catches. Killer catches!
From one Nick to another, I can’t wait for the upload and your reaction to landing a triple digit catch! Biggest shovelhead I’ve caught in southern Ohio was 56 pounds. Experience I’ll never forget as a teenager (many moons ago). I need to get back into it but your videos tide me over until I can get a better work schedule!! See ya later, buddy!
Nick watching you try to run up that hill at the end had me dying. Especially because I know you had to come back for the camera and do it all over again. 😆
Thanks for sharing, good luck on the triple digit and tight lines!
Man i felt that when you fell down
Can't wait to see ya land that triple digit catfish. Always enjoy your videos and look forward to the next.
New ink looks cool.
That grass carp was badass.
Remember the 1st ever video I watched of you fishing Tony creeks 7 years ago
Great video like always 😊 I'm doing some fishing this weekend
When you get that big kitty bite it’s like nothing else 😂
keep up the great videos champ
Keep trying, you'll get one! Keep the videos coming!
I absolutely live for this channel! Waiting for Thursday to roll around! 💕🙏
Damn near had a heart attack @ 2:50 that wolf spider is looking gnarly😳
Great video nick! Keep up the great work
Out there making outstanding content and bleedin' for the sport!
Yes its Friday again! Greeting from Amsterdam!
Nice grass carp! Especially for such a tiny creek!
crazy seeing you come to spots ive fished b4. Chain of rocks is where me and my buddy's have fished before but never gotten anything. You keep fisherman in the 618 hungry for that next big fish! Love the videos dude keep em coming!!!!!! 618FISHING FTW
Will we see your expertise on the ocean this year? Just seeing your excitement not knowing what you might pull in will be so good!
I was raised cat fishing. Great video here always.
I absolutely love your channel as wel as my 7yo and 9yo sons. You have encouraged us to try harder at fishing beyond night crawlers as well as knowing what the heck a bowfin was. I hope to see you in future do some northern fishing esp some pike etc. that would be awesome. Love your channel!! Love the music and everything ur awesome
I appreciate you all watching!
Hi Nick,
You might already know this, but, when "portaging" your long rods through the woods (on bike or on foot), if you carry them backwards, there's less of a chance of breaking off the tips.
Thanks for the vids.
Keep up the hunt.
Dang, you scare me Nick, when you are walking on those cliff face banks while playing a fish. Be careful, buddy!
Has anyone ever told you that you have the best job ever?!!
You should get one of those cast fishing drones. That would be a sick addition to your fishing tools.
Nice video as usual, great job and effort. Playing the drums today for sure. Keep at it the 100 pounder will happen. Oh and graceful fall, you didn't even miss a beat. 👍
The hunt for Ol' Whisker Lips continues!!
Nice spot Nick... kinda trippy!
Hey Nick a little hack for your net. I fish some high docks and low bridges so I bought a cheap Walmart net, popped the end cap off and stuck an old paint roller handle that extends up to 10 feet. Drilled a hole through both and secured it with a bolt and wing nut so it is removable. Fully extended I got 15 feet. Love the vids, tight lines.
I've been watching you for a few years now and as I live in the UK I hate my waters compared to the US. Always love watching your videos man makes me wanna go fish everyday.
Love the videos and your music choices
Best time to fish is when a storm is rolling in, barometric pressure change .
fell so hard , still have the fish . legend
You’ll get there!
Great vid Brother!!!!! Thank you for saying gosh as well!!!!!
Tight lines🎣🎣💪🏽
Keep the faith man that 100 lber is coming 👍🏽👍🏽
I'd be so excited to see you land a 100lb cat. That would be awesome. Hope you are successful
Man that drum was huge and predator looking
Good deal buddy, good show always! Keep on doing what you’re doing, you’ll hook into that monster cat eventually, I have no doubt buddy! 👍👍🤘🤙🏻✌🏻
Nick you got to find big structure like a bridge with a deep channel or one of those big spill ways
I love your music choices! Please! Provide a list?
ETA: I see you did! Ty!
Your ambition is inspirational! Embarking on such an adventure, in pursuit of a 100lb catfish, is truly impressive. I hope you have an adrenaline-filled experience and catch the trophy fish you're after. Best of luck on this captivating mission! You have a very interesting channel, and I've subscribed to it. Success and tight lines! Looking forward to new videos
Nice video dude this deserves 2m views
This guy is so adorable, he's like how I acted in 8th grade, especially when he ran up the hill! 😭😭☺
Nick, try deep water for big blues. Usually just over a shelf
Man you don’t gotta pay so much for skipjack it’s so easy to catch em! Coolers full too! All you gotta do is get a little crappie jig or marabou jig and retrieve it extremely fast! And doing that I still got skipjack from last year!
Nick falls down the cliff lands on sharp jagged rocks could have broke a leg or a hip arm or ribs pops right back up like a rubber ball and the first thing he says is the dish is still on now that's a true fisherman loving what he does
Hey Nick if you want bigger blue cats go to a big water spillway dam where humans controls the water flow get on the downside of the damn throw as far as you can and hold on and have fun cuz down here in Alabama we use 100 and up pound line a 150 pond blue cat here is very common good luck and see ya buddy
got to love that music
Yeow! You made me nervous on those rocky cliffs next to that deep water. I hope you are a good swimmer...just for safety sake! Good luck on your hunt for the 100lb cat! Cheers!
Night fishing is where it's at for the big boys.
I've always loved fishing for catfish but now Ive been doing a lot of trout fishing and yesterday I caught a 27 inch rainbow it was amazing
I caught a 3lb catfish using a rod and reel with live bait (huge night crawlers) I didn't like using lures. This may not seem like a big catfish to you, but it was huge to me. My Dad had to help me get it in the boat (I was already an adult). I caught it close to the lake bank where the water was more shallow. My Dad didn't mind taking me fishing because I wasn't afraid of handling live bait(worms, minnows, crickets, etc.)
I caught a 900 pound bluegill in a spillway in Ohio ❤️ keep them coming jake!
900?
I honestly never knew that creek got the clear. Considering how unclean it is. Keep it up, i got the cat fever too right now. Even though my last trip was trout down on the little piney. And currently in trout country for work.
Good stuff! I want to go fishing with you.
great adventure
Here in East Tennessee, skipjack head works for monster blue cats
Nice to see other people fall while fishing usually thats me
Try fresh eel for huge kitty bait. I think you can find them at the bigger Asian food stores.
Send that drone out use it for the scouting!
Looks like you need a bigger net and a way to get down there to net a big guy hope you get it this year !!!
I was the 100th 👍. Best fishing channel going. Proud of ya buddy.
#618fishing #Nick
Skipjack is a catfish favorite
Great video
Best to take some climbing gear with you next time.
You are the best
Gotta think about landing a 100lb catfish. It would be hard to do off the cliffs lol
Take a trip to Pickwick lake on the Tennessee river
Come too Oklahoma and noodle for those big blues
In texas ...... That would be a keeper Gasper goo
I wish I could identify your spots. Lived in the 618 my whole life.
Looks like Missouri River by the confluence of the Mississippi.
Ya know, I've tried using Drum as cutbait before. But have never had any luck at all with it. I've always done best with cut sucker or chubs.
@618fishing did you get that skip jack at N&B in Red Bud? That looks like the same packaging they have
Those falls will haunt you when you get older. God's blessings upon you and yours brother. 🤠🙏💛☯️🌞💯
Wish nick would listen and. Try sardines work great
The biggest cat I ever caught was 42 lbs out of the Monongahela River. Caught it on a night crawler with 8lb test.
Hey Nick, I know you’re pretty knowledgeable about spillways and was wondering if i could somehow show you a spillway i found on google maps and maybe help me decide if it looks good to fish or not. Thanks
RED Kool Aid and Chicken in a zip bag and level it for a week in the fridge good luck 😉
Need some stinky bait yo catch a big ole hog catfish. Love to watch you get em in the net!!
Dang honey don’t break a hip!!! Nice “kitty” as I see people calling it 😅 I love you 😘
Haha thank you honey I love you too! 😘
I love watching your fishing vids. They are always interesting, but watching you slip and fall about, I really hope you have a good medical plan.😂
Watch out cat fish, Nick is likley to fall on you.
Tight lines.
Which model bike do you have? the 2.0?
