I think it's good to mention methods like Natural Cycles are used best for birth control when in a stable relationship + you would be okay with getting pregnant were it to happen anyway. I used this method, followed the steps well, even did additional ovulation tests to confirm ovulation, but ended up getting pregnant. Even though it wasn't planned, my husband and I now couldnt imagine our life without our baby, but that is good to keep in mind!
They do say "...typical use effectiveness rate of 93% and a perfect use effectiveness of 98%" which I agree with you, is something to keep in mind but you have the same problem with hormonal birth control and IUD etc.
Edit: and I don't agree with "...used best for birth control when in a stable relationship + you would be okay with getting pregnant..."
I do agree you should educate yourself on the level of risk and determine if you're willing to take the risk.

I am currently pregnant with my first baby and my due date is two days from now! So all I'm really hoping for this upcoming year is just to settle into parenthood and make lots of great memories with our little baby boy 💙

Mom of third here ❤. In my opinion an age gap is great ! It makes everything so much easier so don’t pressure yourself to have baby so close to baby girl take your time . Baby will come when it’s time ❤

My knee has been injured since April and it’s just started to feel better a couple of weeks ago. Prior to my injury I was big on weight lifting but for some reason now that I‘be started to go back to the gym I’ve really been enjoying cardio. For 2024, I want to get back into running. Possibly do a race for some motivation :D

This stomach bug hit my family and I in TX around thanksgiving and it was horrible. I also had a family member get it again, 3 days later. And I sanitized everything, even the knobs on the washing machine, every cabinet handle, every light switch, every counter, ever faucet handle, EVERYTHING, and so many of us got sick. It’s horrible and brutal this year lol.
I actually graduate from university next year so I feel very excited! 2024 will be a year of healing health wise as I have arthritis which unfortunately has started destroying a jaw joint. Hopefully 2024 will be a year of planning ahead for when we start a family ❤

omg.. about the stomach bug, SAME. My partner got sick Sunday, I got sick Monday, we both were out for a day. A whole week later, our baby gets it. It lasts 2 days for her.. no throwing up for 2 days so my mom babysits her so we can do last minute shopping for Christmas, (our first time hosting..) MY MOM GETS SICK ON CHRISTMAS EVE, so she can't make it... Christmas day everyone is fine... the 26th, my brother & my other brothers girlfriend get sick. It's like air-borne!!! So crazy!
Wishing baby dust for everyone! I know the odds of IUI go up each time you do it to an extent but I’ve known a lot just wish they did IVF instead. I had to do IVF for our first after 4 years of trying, testing etc. CNY is in NY and amazing for IVF & cheaper an anywhere else. We were told we would NEVER NATURALLY have a baby & GOD blessed us 4 months postpartum after our first ❤

I just ordered an Oura ring! I have used NC for 2,5 years and I can’t wait to use the ring connected to it.
I also use the same natural contrecaption method and it has been almost 4 years now, still love it! It's so interesting to get to know your cycle. I have this very conveinent fertility tracker which is basically a smart thermometer that shows you a red, green or yellow light so you don't have to note anything yourself. It's all automatically tracked and you can synchornize it with an app to see all your stats etc. Highly recommend! :)

One amazing thing about natural cycles is that they not only have a birth control setting but also a plan pregnancy one for trying to conceive, a pregnancy one. And a recovery one if you suffer from a miscarriage. I have switched through every setting and right now am in the recovery one as we just had a miscarriage 💔 it has been very nice to know I am actively doing something to track my recovery. ❤️
You don’t have to pay to switch to any of these settings as well.

In March 2024 I’m moving from Argentina to Valencia,Spain. My bf and I have been doing long distance for a year and we are closing that chapter by moving in together. I’m just hoping for a smooth transition and a job in this new country 🍀🤞🏼
