Dude, with the release of Amnesia: The Bunker, I guess there's a few things you could implement to make the experience the more horrifying, specially if you want to bring the Countrycide scars to the trenches.

Unfortunately we're too late in development at this point, but it's definitely on our radar. I played the demo and loved it to a point where I'll definitely be taking inspiration from it in the future. -DyNaM1k

This looks like a WW1 simulator with supernatural elements and I don't reallly see how Countricide was a prequel to this. Countrycide seems to have its own world with its own story. Also the main character a Holy Knight (or something) chasing demons is not really WW1 material.
CountryCide takes place decades in the past in a different region of the planet, when the "supernatural" took root.
Trench Foot is not a WW1 simulator. It's merely WW1 themed.
