thanks for this tutorial now I only hope that the teenage boy I'm playing against can't see me cheating while dealing he would break my fingers with his Star Platinum...
Dope reference :)
Holy sh*t is that a Jojo reference

Update?
DAYUM so clean!
Thanks man! Great to see your comment!
the cleanest method in my opinion, however push off is not easy though
Bro I came to this video so I could do one of your tricks, guess I choose the right one.
Oh My God!!!! I was waiting for the second deal for a very long time . Finally a perfect tutorial. Thanks a lot dude
Thanks man! Took a little while for me to put together
its Really so good i agree
@@CardMechanic Thanks bro you really did put something very nice together. Thanks again!
I am overwhelmed with your touch in this tutorial! Soon I will get on to acquiring this! Thanks for the tutorial sir!😇❤👍
That’s what I like to hear!!
Your tutorial is so great. I have a problem that I can not pull the thumb to return the first card go back. Can you give me tips. Thank you so much.
Been doing slight of hand and card magic for 2 years and this is the hardest move to pull of for me.
same here
Wait til’ u try bottom deal … took me 3 years to perfect it
@@JMP-ETTAN to me 2nd card is harder to disguise than bottom. I can do both now but my hands look bizarre tho. You can so thing isn’t right.
In the beginning of the video when you were doing it I was like..." NO WAY!..the whole deck must be Aces of spades!😂😂..I would loooove to do this but I run out of patience😒.. well done my man!!👍👍
All you need is just a few minutes of practice everyday and you’ll get it!!
I like your advice on the second deal. I have been working on this for a little while and this video is a big help
Thanks!! Hopefully you can be better than me soon!
@@CardMechanic maybe one day.
This is a good tutorial, thank you.
I respect that last music speed tip.
As a dj, knowing bpms was important and I've never heard anyone else talking about it.
Best tutorial on this deal I have ever seen. Instant sub!!!
took me like all day to master this but was worth the effort..thanks for teaching!
The fact that you got this in a day… 🫡
@@CardMechanic my colossal brain makes things easy for me
Very smooth technique.
Some fantastic tips.
Great vid as always
Thank you so much!!
One of my favourite moves in magic great tutorial on it!!😀♠️
Thanks my dude!!
Aside from Richard turner you have the best 2nd deal, thx for sharing.
I find it easier to also get the ring finger of the right hand to assist pull the 2nd card out, for the middle finger to deal it!
Proper friction of the thumb and the middle and ring fingers will make it much easier (as the forces need to be fine tuned).
The role of active index finger needs more elaboration .Without the index finger the top card will lose its desired position on top of the deck.
I always have wanted to learn this! Now, I will have too! Keep up the good work! Almost at 6K! #Roadto6K!
Would love to see it when you learn it!
Note: does NOT work against star platinum
Yare yare daze
Wonderful tutorial man , I wonder If you'll someday do a center deal tutorial
As of right now, I have never done a center deal. I got away with cheating just using the second deal, bottom deal and many false shuffles. But I’ll definitely learn it once I get the time!
@@CardMechanic have you ever really cheated
Thank you. Really enjoying all of your videos
Marvelous tips. Amazing tutorial ,thank you so much, just love it

As usual, a excellent tutorial. Thanks!
Thank you for teaching us this technique! It’s time to play poker 😌
You got my sub
I love this. This and the bottom deal are just so mind blowing. Your skills really do show in your videos. How long did this take you to master?
Thank you! It took me a few months of almost daily practice to get it to this level
@@CardMechanic wow I thought it would have taken longer you're a monster
thnx 4 the tutorial keep me doing something in the luck down
That's a really clean technique, man. Wonderful tutorial!
Glad you like it!
Ayyy! It really helped man! Finally I can impress the people who wanna play poker with me! Lookin' forward for your next video!
Haha! Glad it helped!
When i first tried this i gave up after few days and now after 8 months when i nailed it at once
I love your vids. Very informative and entertaining. I want to video some of my tricks. Can you tell me how you set up your camera to get the view you use for the performance portion of your videos?
Thanks so much! I setup my camera on a tripod, about 1 foot above higher than the table and I point it downwards in towards the table. Hope this helps!
This is such a great tutorial your moves are so natural. 👍👍👍👍
Thank you so much! Took a lot of practice to make them look that way!
I'm blown away your dealing like Richard Turner!!
Sorry to blow it man, but not at all. It's actually the complete opposite. This is more of an erdnase grip and mr. Turner uses a full grip (where all of the fingers are on the longe edge of the deck, where there's also a big opening at the front short edge). Turner also puts his thumb on the short edge near the outer right corner. Here, he puts it on the left long edge.
The only similarity is that these push off's are quite clean. (later on, though, I hope he'll realise that the erdnase grip is great to start with, but that he'll have to move on to a less unnatural grip like a mechanic's or a full grip (in my opinion of course))
@@luka6257 man get life, instead of replying to people with 50 paragraph just enjoy the video if not then don't watch it 🙏
Dude. I was trying to help you...
Haha, by the way, do you even know what a paragraph is? 😂😂
@@luka6257 I doubt he even read your comment. lol
You set up your cards for bottom deal but before that you need to shuffle in front of all players so how do you fake shuffle & set your perfect cards at bottom.
Please can you show a set up trick on that
Thank you sir 🥰🥰🥰😘😘😃😃
this is so good. I was waiting for this tutorial
Thank you!! I’m glad it’s finally out!
Very nice seconds, bravo 👏
I'm watching for this the next time I go...
That watch bro,that watch🔥🔥
Great tutorial!
Start watching at 7:55 thats all you'll need
Really helped, thanks!
Excellent! Just what ive been working on
That’s great to hear!
Still working on it
Make sure that you are using bicycle playing cards that only have the air cushion finish because the transition of the cards is much smoother when you deal them I know because I used to do all this when I was much younger and the air cushion makes it easier. it’s one thing to do second dealing. That’s a piece of cake. Try bottom dealing without air cushion finish
I’ve used MANY decks over the years, with different finishes, paper stocks, edges. Best for me (and many other card mechanics) are the Casino Bees
@@CardMechanic I just highly impressive that you could do that because I’ve only learned what the air finish. It’s literally impossible for me to deal with those cards you’re holding.
that second deal was amzing sounds perfcetly done good job card mechanic
Thanks buddy!
The first time I remember performing the second deal I dealt nearly half the deck 🤣🤣🤣
I have a poker game lined up for tomorrow. Now I am ready.
If someone asked you to swap hands to deal, would you be able to pull it off.
I'm not comfy with whatever grip that you used there. Is it fine if I just stick with how I learned to push off double, which is the normal grip with middle, ring and pinky at the right side of the deck
V clear content. Ty😂
Cool watching this video for y first time and thinking about how a year later you would be interviewing the Grand master of 2nd deal, Richard Turner...
Geese the second deal its kinda like very impressive when u do it very quickly anyway hope u hit 6K soon
Thanks dude!
Looks great 👍
I just noticed that I am using the same deck of cards as you
Kinda obvious when the dealer holds the card high up off the felt
Interesting, thanks
EXCELENTEEEEE!!!! GRACIASSSSS!!!
Bottom deal is so much easier than 2nd deal and center deal is basically impossible lol
Great tutorial I love it 😍❤😍❤☺❤😍❤😍...
This looks so real
Thanks!
Hi Vineet, I have a problem taking back the top card after dealing the second card and getting into the position to second deal the next second card, and also on the swiping motion the top card moves because sometimes it touches my thumb, can you give me some tips or maybe show me if you could to solve these problems? Hope you can answer my question great video by the way.
I can’t manage to only push two cards 😢
I’m so confused after you grab the second how do you grab more cards? Wait do you grab another card when pushing the top card back?
Thank you for the tutorial
You’re welcome!
a great detailed tutorial...
Very very good 👍
love this video
can I second deal with bicycle deck
What if I hold the deck in mechanic’s grip instead of erdnase grip while dealing?
After watching a bunch of your and Turners videos, it's got me wondering: wouldn't the "best" (i say this with quotes because i want to emphasize opinion) card mechanic be the least suspected? meaning sloppy dealing, looking like they fumble the cards a lot, barely knowing how to shuffle etc etc?
Yeah that’s how I throw my Friends off of me so id assume they would also do that
my old cards doesn't slide very well. can it be a problem?
unbelievable my dude
Thank you!
Sorry dude but I’m not playing cards with u like forever but I still love u man
Oh how many hours to master this tricks so perfectly?
Good question, it took about 2-3 month of daily practice for a couple of hours a day
@@CardMechanic congrats it’s so smooth
Great content
Wow. Can I ask how long it takes to get this good please?
Hey! I have been practicing for years, but I would say maybe around 2-3 months of daily practice is how long it took me to get it to this level
@@CardMechanic thanks for the reply. Simon Lovell said 18 months and that stopped my desire to master it. I'll get back on it. Much appreciated
Whats ur wrist watch?
Your Second Deal is perfect. I‘ll try to learn it. Thank you.
2nd and great tutorial 💯💯💯👍
Thank you!
Very very good
What do you do if your fingers/hands are too smooth to grip a card to pull it out of the deck? I don't get any traction at all. I've tried with a brand new deck, and a deck that's used but not very much, and a deck that has probably been used since 2005.
Great question! I would recommend having some type of moisture on your fingers to get the traction you need. One of my idols, Richard Turner, use lotion to maximize his performance
@@CardMechanic Oh that's a great idea. I'll give that a shot. Thanks.
Which deck use in video
Bee playing cards
In the showcase I'm thinking " sir isn't bending reality illegal"
Thank You for making this!!
You’re welcome!!
The movement of your left thumb makes the second deal very obvious
That first step is gonna take me 2 years😂
Lol

I have finally found someone who's hands sweat as much as mine.

I have very dry hands and i actually would prefer having sweaty hands over small, weak. little baby slippy dry hands.
Would recommend using some lotion, helps a lot!
1st bro u are awesome
Thank you!
jojo brought me here
Neat
The decks of cards played in poker are the same color or different colors. If they are different then this is useless
this is gonna be as big as your bottom deal
I hope so!!
Now I know when I dealers doing it cause thier hands cover up the whole deck, .....
