@@MrBrock314 I mean, it contains "castrating", which is not how you pronounce the last part of "orchestrating".
@@MrBrock314 They're their and there are phonetically identical, so why is it worse?
Shin’s hair always looks wind blown 😂 if we didn’t know who he was or what he does for a living you’d think he was a Pop Star. His magic is flawless. Definitely one of the best card magicians of all time 😎
I laughed so hard when Jimmy said, "The internet is gonna make fun of me." He knows what a bunch of jerks some people are. Lol.
Hundreds and thousands of performances still his hands shakes from adrenaline.
He's not only a magician but a mentalist- he made Chris think of 6 of spades, which is exactly what I thought of as well 😲
And who put the card on his suit?
@@cinqo7 That's what I want to know!
@@cinqo7 It was a set up? That is the only way that happens.
Probably put in his pocket before the show .
@@cinqo7It's placed in his jacket prior to the segment.
🔥🔥 one of the greatest card magician
ditching the cards at 4:04
Where do they go though
@@UnitedGamingyt07 You can see him for a split second moving his hand toward the edge of the table which is where he ditches the cards on the ground/lap.
yeah you change the speed and slow it down but the problem is you can’t slow that down in actual. 🥴
Good catch
@@adamheeley285 ohh
The "laser Dealing" gave a flash from the camera angle. He's incredible how he an conceal that many
At 4:26 while everyone is distracted looking at Quest while Shin asks him a question, his hands dip below the table and he switches decks.
Amazing to see Richard's Turner version of dealing cards, that was great !
A deck has 52 card (or 54 with 2 jokers). How was he able to do the 1-10 deal when that requires 55 cards?
There’s another Bicycle ads card, look closely the last deck
After dropping some cards during the laser dealing, it would be impossible to have 55 cards. At 4:24 he swaps the decks off camera, notice his hands go off the table
52 + 2 Jokers + 1 ad card = 55
Shin is incredible.
Wait a minute! 3:40 This is a ripoff of Richard Turner's performance from Penn & Teller
it's just sleight of hand, nothing unique about it
His sleight of hand is out of this world good. What the hell.
3:59 zoom in at .25x speed you can see he never puts the cards down onto the top of the pile, he keeps them in his hand then he slides the discarded cards from his hand into is lap
Also cut between 4:24 and 4:25, his left hand was down then higher up and the new angle you cannot see his right hand or the deck of cards, so probably did a switch there.
It's called a "laser deal" created by Lennart Green and it's a very well known method.
@@lappe767 Definitely! Good catch. And after they cut back to him he isn't actually shuffling, and then has Jimmie just push them back into a pile (w/o changing order of any).
@@ltmesq Plus that other cut to Questlove stays on him for 10 seconds so who knows what's happening at the card table. Still a great trick tho, I just always get annoyed when they cut away so many times and don't keep the shot on the magician lol.
You mean to tell me the cards didn't actually disappear in thin air?!?!?!?!
For a second I thought quest wasn’t interested then when the card was in his jacket I realized it was to throw us off. The dealer trick that made the cards vanish was cool. Always loved Shin
3:02 Card Trick start here w/ the boring
Love the legend and magic since young 🐐 ❤
We can rewind all we want....It's freaking magic.🤣
If you know the techniques, you can figure it out. The 4 of clubs at the start is a classic second deal.
@@cgi2173how did it reach questlove?
@@cgi2173 I just have my 4 aces flip over trick always a crowd pleaser.
i like how 4:25 his hands and cards are always on the table, but the show also cuts away when he puts them under the table. team work.
quest and shin are working together :D
Has to be one of the best guests
Really was a demonstration of unbelievable skill like Shin said in the beginning. It's a pity Fallon is a total noob at this though, took away from the rizz of the trick.
my favorit magician 😍Shin Lim
Not sure if I need to be a good sport or a good tool and go along with it but the trick was not that impressive
Shin has mastered his craft
Deck swap under the table, followed by a fake riffle shuffle. “Smush them together”😂 Shin Lim would have needed a second deck since ten piles equals 55 cards.
Makes sense. But there's 54 + the one you usually take out, seen at 5:52
Dick
At 4:22 you can see his hands suspiciously leaving the table as we get a different camera angle
BEST MAGICIAN I EVER SAW
Longtime magician here. If you want to know how he does the first trick I’ll explain below but keep it hidden for people who don’t want to know
Magic
Lol. Marked cards, top notch card handling, and a setup with the drummer.
@chriswatson7965 Right, the most magical parts of the trick are the easiest, and the things that seem the simplest (for example the card dealing) takes years of mind-numbing practice. The setup tainted it a bit for me, but Shin is one of the best and most creative anyway.
I'm snooty about magic tricks and I tend to roughly know how a lot of them work (I read a lot of magic theory and have designed a few and sold them).
But then there are some magicians that can make that part of my brain just shut up and enjoy the show. Shin is Chief among them. His cardistry and mechanics are just so beautifully done that I get to just enjoy it again.
Then again sometimes he just blows my mind so much I just yell at the screen "F-U Shin Lim" But I do so with a giant smile on my face and I can't wait to show it to a thousand other people
Jimmy’s diction is not the clearest :(
NM his diction. His shuffling is atrocious! Ha. Ever since he injured his finger, his hands have never been the same.
