Maangchi is literally *next level, God-tier*. She can put out a Dalgona candy video during the Squid Game craze and not even have to mention Squid Game anywhere in her video and STILL gets views. Plus, while everyone's burning their counters and pots trying to make this in their home kitchens, Maangchi said "I'm going to show these losers just how much they still have to learn by cooking OUTSIDE on a campfire!" My gosh! She's so incredible!!

Bringing back a lot of good memories. Growing up in Korea, making dalgona was such a fun thing to do with friends in front of school supply stores. It reminds me of the confectionery store my father had. He would make big batches of peanut brittle which this reminds me of. He made everything from scratch. This video came just in time because I was craving something sweet. I'm going to put my morning coffee in the pot with the leftover melted sugar ... I think it will give my coffee a toffee flavor to it.

In America, there is an old-fashioned candy similar to this called honeycomb candy. It is almost the same, except a little honey is added to make it taste like honey. 🐝🍯
