I'm a happy owner of a 2017 Q60 3.0t Sport Graphite Shadow with Tech. I couldn't care less if others dislike the car. I bought this car because it's sleek and I was having a blast while test driving it. This car is fun to drive and got more stare. I work in Irvine, CA and got compliments from people who have BMWs, Merc AMG 63 and Audi S5 at Irvine Spectrum.
Dexter Zafra is it true that you will go 0-60mp (100kmh) in less 5 sec? saw in other post it was 5.5... kinda is a no go if its true.. considering i got a altima v6 3,5l that make 0-60 in 5,7...
In other words, this is a sporty, sleek looking GT. And I love it. It’s nice to be driving luxuriously in a sleek and sporty looking cruiser. Now this is what a luxury coupe should be all about. Comfort in style.
So many people complain about the double screen but it's brilliant to have a separate screen for Navi, and I think it looks cool too. People just ALWAYS need something to complain about. Someone could build the perfect car (whatever that is) and there would still be reviewers nitpicking and youtubers trolling it.
You're saying different people have different preferences? Like they might not agree on maybe who's the most beautiful woman in the world? That's a crazy attitude. What are you doing on the internet? You got a lot of nerve making sense.
Seating too high? Actually many people find a high seating position more comfortable than sitting near the floor with your legs out straight. Nissan knows what they are doing son
Nissan does that with the Z, which is basically what their more performance oriented car is. With Infiniti they go for more of a GT style, which is why there's the higher seating position
Nissan blew it "grampa". OLD people find a high seating position more comfortable ...because they're old. Nothing wrong with being old, it's just not the market that brought the G/Q to it's current status. Face it sir, Nissan is blowing it.
This is why its nice there are so many types of cars to choose from. What He didn't like about it, is why I want this car. I'm looking for a CPO, Thought I wanted a Lexus RC350, (current Lexi sedan owner) test drove it, but do not like the straight across dash board, or the mouse pad nav. Then I test drove this Q60 and loved it. Had smoother quieter pick up than the Lexus (which was the F). I like to sit up high enough to see beyond the dash board, I WANT that LUXURY feel with the ability to go to a 100 in 5 seconds if needed (like this is ever really necessary ha ha), like the interior styling, I didn't find the nav console hard to use.... personally dislike noisy cars, just headache inducing especially on a long trip. Unfortunately having a hard time finding a 2017, 3.0 with the options and color I want in my area. ; /
Jesus...not every coupe should be a hard-nose aggressive drive. All of these video reviews complain about the same crap....grow up! It's not about always going fast! It's about luxury and comfort with the ability to have power on hand.
I would like your take on the standard run-flat tires vs conventional tires vis-a-vis handling, road noise, safety and economy. I have road tested this car, love it, and plan to buy one but run-flat tires are a concern due to their rough ride on the highway. Infiniti also chooses to not include a spare with this car. More standard tires would give a better highway ride without sacrificing handling and lack of a spare is surprising considering vehicle price and class.
I remember for "first take", most reviewers said the Q60 was quite fun to drive, but not very luxurious - didn't ride properly and loud at higher speed, especially the Red Sport. Looks like Infiniti fixed both of those issues. 👍
Dual turbo: no boost gage. 400 hp: no manual transmission. $65,000: no mirror defrost. Everything else? Pretty sexy. Gray/silver paint without red leather? What were you thinking?
Comfortable, luxurious, sporty and a gorgeous looking car.... what's not to like ? Not everyone wants to drive a loud, low slung car where you need to be as flexible as an Olympic gymnast to get in and out of it.
The problem with Infiniti in general is poor resale. Most people who buy these seem to buy them used. Which is impossible because someone had to buy them new but it is my perception. Why pay New for an Infiniti when you can save tens of thousands for a slightly used one ? My step father bought a 1995 q45 used in 1996 for 35k. Which was twenty off the Msrp. Thing is that q was such a solid and well built car that when he got rid of it twenty years later it was in near original condition. The seats and paint were perfect. Now only if he hadn’t slid off an icy highway outside philly one wintery night he’d probably still have the car. It had 128k miles and the insurance gave him 5k to tow it away. You can pick one up for nothing. I wonder why people don’t fix these original q cars. Is it because only Infiniti dealers will work on them even though it’s a Nissan? If you could rebuild the motor and trans for a reasonable amount you’ll still see these.
Good job, Mike! Thinking of getting a newer model to replace my current 2013 G37X. The other reviewers are full of garbled nonsense (upgrade this, swap exhaust, swap tires, should've had this transmission, blah blah blah) This is a good solid review and I like that you emphasize that it is a great refined daily rider with power.
This is a great video and fairly decent review of this car! In all, it helps me with deciding to purchase one in the future! For now its still the 04 G35x with 172k on the odometer and oodles of custom mods that keep me happy but curious about these newer models. Im actually a late 90's Chevy Tahoe LT kind of guy!
Don't know how this guy forgot to mention that this car does NOT have Apple Carplay or Android Auto ! My son bought a new Hyundai Elantra and even THAT car has Apple Carplay and Android Auto. Infiniiti really needs to address the lack of these features in this supposedly premium car!
I like the review overall but your initial expectations made no sense. The G35, G37, and first run Q60's were all more luxury gt than sports car. That's why Nissan makes a 370Z and if that isn't hard-edged enough get the Nismo. The Q60 Coupe is supposed to be GT car and the RS simply makes it a fasert GT car.
Another great review Mike! And I can so relate: I test drove the Q50 three times (twice the 300 HP & once the 400 HP) wanting to like it but every time came back very disappointed. It is boring to drive, something you really don't expect based on the exterior design and past history of the G35/G37. It is surprising how much an A4 feels faster, and sportier (4cyl vs twin turbo V6s) while having a much more refined ride . Factoring having just a decent interior and an outdated infotainment system the Q50/60 is not very competitive in its class.
Did your example have the crappy run flats?? Those might have cost the car your negative driving review in regards to performance. BTW, I have a set of the Dunlop run flats for sale with less than 200 miles on them. LOL. Replaced them immediately with Conti DWS. Also, check your tire pressure. In addition, the seating position for me is spot on for what I want out of a sports car. Very good review.
I went to my local Infiniti in Tustin and they haven’t received any 2019 Q60’s which is a bummer cause I really want to test drive one. Im undecided to buy either a 2019 Q60 RS or the new 2019 340I.
@5:10 St. Clair West and Keele - Stockyards mall! Also, DAS is too numb and the whole feeling of being isolated in the car is not supposed to be a virtue. It's a tremendous downside for what looks like a driver's car, but this steering and lack of noise / feel is actually aiming to separate you from the road and the drive, which is contrary to what makes a car fun to drive. You pretty much said it yourself - you expected this thing to cash the cheques it's writing with its sleek styling, but it ended up paying just the minimum to stay out of bankruptcy.
This guy’s review sucks. He makes it seem like a bad thing that this car is easy to live with and is very refined and powerful. What’s wrong with that ?
I love the roads in Toronto and Missisauga and Canada in general, you need to hop across the border and come here to Michigan and learn what bad roads really are. LOL
The prominent belt line that is supposed show "muscularity" actually creates a "muffin top" effect. It worked in the Essence concept ...but lost a lot in this translation.
Sorry Q50 Fan Boys, The ONLY nice thing about the Q50 Generation is the pretty grill. But with that "pretty mouth", gee, Infinity has given us numb, electric steering and an overly-busy interior with bland rear-end styling. I'll stick to my 2013 G37xS Sedan and actually FEEL the road underneath me. For any True Sports Car enthusiast, this is the whole point. Magazine Reviewers didn't call the G37 Series a "370Z in a Tuxedo" for no reason.
Canadian models come only with awd and are fairly well optioned up. Us prices are about 5-6k lower than shown here. And that dosent include the insane lease deals infinti is offering for this car.

Dexter Zafra I really like the car too. Most of the people disliking it are just haters and people who could never afford one.
Too bad you couldn’t afford a luxury mark.
John Ward
Oups! Did I say probably ?? I meant "defenitively"... poor envious idiot...
I love mine to bro. Throw some down pipes and a tune on it. It's over for everybody
Dexter Zafra is it true that you will go 0-60mp (100kmh) in less 5 sec? saw in other post it was 5.5... kinda is a no go if its true.. considering i got a altima v6 3,5l that make 0-60 in 5,7...

Agreed. The car is positioned as a GT and does so nicely. Very satisfied with mine and did not purchase it as a “sports coupe”.
So many people complain about the double screen but it's brilliant to have a separate screen for Navi, and I think it looks cool too. People just ALWAYS need something to complain about. Someone could build the perfect car (whatever that is) and there would still be reviewers nitpicking and youtubers trolling it.
Yup. Works really well and looks very different and sleek compared to those boring German cabins.
Except that Nissan built their sports car reputation on cars where you sat near the floor with your legs out straight... 240Z, 240SX, 300ZX...
Khu NoPie i love seating high too haha
Nissan does that with the Z, which is basically what their more performance oriented car is. With Infiniti they go for more of a GT style, which is why there's the higher seating position
Amen to that brother.

Cant hear the engine or exhaust, is comfortable and goes 0-100 in sub 5 secs and can cruise all day on the hiway.....sounds great to me at 66.
For all the people making the negative comments have you driven this car ? save your negative words after you do so.
Jesus...not every coupe should be a hard-nose aggressive drive. All of these video reviews complain about the same crap....grow up! It's not about always going fast! It's about luxury and comfort with the ability to have power on hand.
Kacy's Kastle Facts! 💯💯
Absolutely true!
Kacy's Kastle thank youuuuu !!!!!
True.
If you ain't fast you're last

I have the 2018 and took it on a trip to Palm Springs from Michigan AWSOME
Thats a long trip

It's more for Grand touring than for sport
babloo1666 this is the premium trim. Not sport.
I’m liking this new guy!
I have that exact one! I’m thinking of making a video on it! I also got the metallic gray color
Comfortable, luxurious, sporty and a gorgeous looking car.... what's not to like ? Not everyone wants to drive a loud, low slung car where you need to be as flexible as an Olympic gymnast to get in and out of it.

Nice to meet you Mike! We share the same last name: I'm Nick Gurr. Thanks for the review -- it was both informative and educative.
Beautiful car. Gonna get this in all black next year.
I can only disagree with the steering comments, not darty or weird at all, the steering is tight and no issues at all.
Please test the 2.0 , No one has
Basil Akasheh i have one 2.0 it drives beautiful!
Gena Weeks how much mpg are you currently getting ?
Good job, Mike! Thinking of getting a newer model to replace my current 2013 G37X. One of your best reviews yet. Well done Mike.

I'm with you, it looks so amazing!
Anyone who says this car isn't knockout beautiful is clearly deluded x

I was under the impression that you could switch off the wireless driving mode and go to normal in any of the q60 coupes!
I went to my local Infiniti in Tustin and they haven’t received any 2019 Q60’s which is a bummer cause I really want to test drive one. Im undecided to buy either a 2019 Q60 RS or the new 2019 340I.
Coupes forever!!!
@5:10 St. Clair West and Keele - Stockyards mall!

i cannot unsee that strange crease on the front bumper near the hood. and i hate that fake chrome vent on the fenders.
The trim may be chromed plastic, but that vent is the real deal venting hot air from the engine bay. It is on the 2018 silver S versions.
Not 300 hp. 325 hp for the 3T Sport ! I've heard it sits lower than the Q50 which I test drove and loved but the 2 door looks way better.
Good job Mike. Waiting 18 months and save 23Gs then it might be worth it.
My only request and question is.... why is this not a hardtop CONVERTIBLE?
Good review mike, what about fuel economy driving in town? I am in TRT as well
I just seen the date this was uploaded , man cars depreciate big time. I’m looking at a Red Sport 18” for 40k with only 3k miles.
Probably salvage.
I'm looking at a '17 3.0T Premium for $27k USD
@@danc1197 nah, depreciation. A '17 3.0T with 50k miles is only $27k USD
When are you guys doing one for 2018 Audi A6???
This ks what the Altima Coupe was suppose to look like .
Great review
I love this car
This guy’s review sucks. He makes it seem like a bad thing that this car is easy to live with and is very refined and powerful. What’s wrong with that ?
I love the roads in Toronto and Missisauga and Canada in general, you need to hop across the border and come here to Michigan and learn what bad roads really are. LOL
Good job!
Idk why Infiniti has to make the shift lever so huge looking. If it was shorter and lower it would look much better
Ken S everyone has it that way. Good way to be different
The car is gorgeous but sporty it is not, that vague steering relegates it to an older more sedate crowd and that is a bit of a shame.
Name 1 car that is trouble free NONE just because you pay more for a car does not make it a better car .
Is this a 2017 or a 2018?
MrJohnny583 2017.
It sounds like if you want refinement, this is the wrong car, because of that transmission.
Watching an unskippable ad is painful.
Nice shirt mike. That's my home town. But i'm stuck in Edmonton. And i'd rather get the Z350
🤣
Does it come with manual?
Right on, good review!
The prominent belt line that is supposed show "muscularity" actually creates a "muffin top" effect. It worked in the Essence concept ...but lost a lot in this translation.

So it’s a GT car not a Sports car
I got a nice azz 12 g37 with black rims I'm boutta get this for my weekend car for sure 💯 fin fin gang
Nice review. Toronto has beautiful roads compared to Hamilton. I'd say Hamilton roads are the worst in Ontario. Anyway, carry on.
david dykeman lol compared to Hamilton maybe, but on thier own Toronto roads are NOWHERE near "beautiful".
david dykeman There are bunch of extremely crappy road in Toronto, it’s not even funny, potholes, cracks, all over the place
You should come see Montreal roads. They are probably the worst in Canada.
Florida rocks regarding roads. Exotics there on every corner
Canada sucks
So where’s our regular guy?
2018 Q60
Basically a more refined Honda Accord coupe. Good but not up to hype or price.
really not even in the same league go and drive one your self .
Different competition.
Takes all the positives of the car and makes them a problem, drives the 300hp model instead of the red sport (400hp). Honestly, crap review.
Great looking car, hate this color. Even if you wash it and wax it, you can’t tell.
Beauty
WHY no Apple Car Play or Android Auto ?? FFS even a Hyundai Elantra has it !! Infiniti please address this !
Worst part of this review is the year of the car isn't in the description or title. Review fail.
Hey guys can you loan me some money so I can get this car? I need about $30k.
47k for 208 hp 😂😂 gotta be a joke
Canadian models come only with awd and are fairly well optioned up.
Us prices are about 5-6k lower than shown here. And that dosent include the insane lease deals infinti is offering for this car.
C'mon its not the best in class desgin of interior. Looks really outdated. Even Mazda 6 has better looks.
Go look at them both in person. You'll see how idiotic your post is.
This looks way better than a Mazda 6 lol
That’s not real leather bro 👎🏽
For some reason, Infiniti's design language in my eyes gets outdated super quickly compared to designs from Lexus and Acura that seem a bit more timeless.
ssjkev16 Acura's look like cheap pieces of shit these days, Hyundai's look better.
ssjkev16 comparing infiniti with Acura lol , gtfo dimwit
not identical to !50 because it has a adaptive suspension which the Q50 does not have ! Beside it lacks a nice V8 from the LEXUS RC-F !
0-100 in 5 sec? i don't think it can get to 60 in 5 sec
beeatoms ... that’s kph, mate!
"abeowt'
To make the story short ....you hate the car .... you're a BMW guy ....
Meh...which is why it's not for me. Gorgeous car, but the performance is too lethargic.
The transmission is a Shane but the red sport at least comes alive with a exhaust.
And they use open diffs on all models, it's a joke.
MarioPL yeah but we only get awd version in Canada or its a mute point for us.
BigHeadClan I mean even with AWD it would be great to have a limited slip differential in the rear, makes a huge difference.
MarioPL Dosent need one in the awd version as it defaults to Rwd then transfers power to front when it detects sliping.
The Rwd model can benefit greatly from an lsd, the awd model would see little to no improvement.
What? All your other clothes were in the laundry?
2forgildan some newer vids feature not one but two new shirts. You might like them!
LOL!!!!
They really should've upgraded that interior..
W-_-T the white interior looks great this looks ok
Getting dated. I like the it looks. Went for a test drive my car boner for this car went away because of that steering.
Honda accord coupe 2012
Infotainment is the worst on this car!
That thing is heavy for a coupe! Also looks a lot like an Altima coupe, which makes it kind of silly to spend all that money on a Nissan.
Kev50027 different car completely
No where near an Altima coupe. You must be drunk.
WHAT?????
Completely ruined smh👎
Looks dated already
Me too, 95% of the car designs these days are over styled and the whole front end is a gaping hole of a grille or lack thereof.
Angel Rivera
.. but they work well....
I'd rework the fugly grille and splitter moldings, but that rear 3/4 and profile are ACE.
Fix that area and it is the best 3-box design since the tesla S.
Adam C compared to
Lol. I have yet to even see one and it’s already 2018.
just wasted 8min of my life .....
The reviewer is so hot
Claire Kennedy Thirsty much?
Nissan and Infinity make awful cars when it comes to reliability. I'll take the Lexus thank you.
Daniel F were the hell are you getting that information
Boring lexus.
wrong
Audi for the win!
You mean Infiniti like the 6th most reliable brand on the market? Hardly anything to complain about. lol
