You could also pour some your Tic Tacs on a dish (preferably one with rice) as a crunchy mini-crackers, it's good aside from just snacking on it as is. Congratulations sir, you have just found one of the magical keywords to be popular in youtube. Just keep mentioning and complimenting everything Indonesia related stuff, you'll be famous in youtube.
You really need to visit Indonesia. Try eating in the local Warkop and make new friends with Indonesian there. That what ussually Indonesian do in Warkop, not only eating but also making friends. Moreover, it is a food joint for everyone, here in Indonesia you can meet all sort of people ranging from corporate executive level down to students there. Enjoy your meal. 😊
When I was student at university around mid 90's, I ate noodles almost every week. Its very cheap to afford that time. The taste is amazing, and I ate with egg or vegetable or even with rice. I love it until now. I could have sent you a few noodles from Indonesia just like you ate in this video. By the way. Thanks for this awesome video. Greetings from Indonesia
Hey! I am a noodle lover but I have to say that Indomie (especially goreng) is the most tasty noodle in the world! Goreng means fried, enjoy your meal, you have to try Nasi goreng and rendang!
indomie goreng is my favorite oh i love it so much. kids also like fried indomie. plus cayenne pepper and eggs and green vegetables. nothing beats the authentic taste of fried indomie
its first counterpart 's been around since the seventies. it's made by a different company and had different flavour. it was quite good, but didnt sell so big as the mie goreng kind. then only about 40 years ago, this particular flavour (that you just tried) was launched and it's been on the top of the instant noodle food chain ever since. young kids and adults all love this product, but adults tend to limit their intake because of health concerns, due to high content of sodium and msg. but the cravings are still there. nobody can deny it 😅
You can travel to any stores around the world and if they have Indomie, you will see that this one is the best seller product versus other noodle brands from another countries when you look up to the store racks.
3:15 meaning there is 50% *extra free* . For example: the amount is originally 200gram + 100gram (50% from 200gram) 7:57 JaSuKe = Jagung/corn Susu/milk Keju/cheese 8:04 soda gembira/happy --> happy soda
The one in the description, "This was cheap Indonesian food in NYC and delicious, go check it out!" In Indonesia, it's very popular because it is much more cheaper and there are much more variety of the flavour.
7:58 Jasuke (jagung susu keju) (corn milk cheese) is a classic sweet indonesian dessert which are corn with condensed milk and grilled cheese as a topping, it's usually served in a small portion, that's the very common way but they might add another topping
That bottled sambal condiment is quite good and quite resilient for lot of food including western food. In fact we often used it to dip french fries and fried chicken.
you really should travel to Indonesia, over 17 k islands, with 38 provinces that stretch across the equator line, with no snow except maybe at the top of the mountain in Papua
I suggest you try Soda Gembira literally means Happy Soda, next time. It is made from soda, milk and coco pandan syrup. A very refreshing beverage that is commonly sold in Warmindo (Warung/Shop Indomie) -- a Warkop version in Indonesia. Indomie has a variety of flavor inspired by local foods in Indonesia. More than 30 flavours I think.
that Belibis sauce is the"saltiest"chili sauce that Indonesia have. it have less chili(kicks) and more salt. that's why here, a lot of people preferred ABC or indofood Chili sauce brand. aside from the noodle msg pack, the saltines that you taste probably comes from that sauce
I've seen a lot of your videos, there aren't any videos that have viewers as much content about Indonesia. Indonesians are very solid, when you discuss anything about their country they will watch it straight away, they will even tell people as much as possible to watch your video
I'm from Indonesia, to have at least a pack of Indomie available in your food cabinet is a culture for almost every household in here. There are also many more Indonesian instant noodle brands, but Indomie is just like coke's Coca Cola. You can buy the traditional Internet noodle only for less than $1.5 even in big cities in Indonesia. If you buy yourself the ingridients at the supermarket, you can greatly reduce the cost to just less than 0.75$ a bowl.
You should've mixed that tic tac "peanut" with Indomie. Lots of people in Indonesia do that to give a crispy texture when we eat Indomie Goreng (fried one, rarely the soup one)
Great that you love Indomie Noodle. JFYI, as for the history there are two big origins of Indomie restaurants that currently have a lot of branches in Indonesia first Warkop Tampomas (from Sumedang City) & second Warmindo (from Kuningan City).

how you coming back to say "this my new favourite snack " it`s soo funny. Keep the good work bro, Btw, do you already taste Sate Padang? try that one if you have any chance.
If you love salty & spicy ones I recommend you to try Indomie Goreng Aceh (packaging is deep green colour)! If you refer crunchy sensations try Indomie Goreng Kriuukkk! 😍🍜
I give suggestions : add ”pilus” with indomie, sarimie, abc (whatever brand available) Basically Pilus = adonan terigu + bumbu..... Digoreng kering (please use auto translate.... English isnt my native language)
Warkop is basically a tiny version of a corner store thats barely the size of a bedroom and its almost on every corner of a street in Indonesia man. And yeah we love mixing food with anything and thats how the "internet" combo started

Everyone talks about the indomie but you guys gotta love the tic tac cassava ball snacks, it has so much portion inside than your average potato chip snacks yet its cheaper like 1 dollar in my country!!
Got this recommendation from RUclips after finishing my Indomie rebus inside my home 😂 Btw, there'a also a more complete variant called "Internetju" = INdomie + TElor (egg) + korNET (corned beef) + keJU (cheese). Traditional Warkop used to serve Burjo (bubur kacang ijo = sweet porridge made from mung beans) & roti bakar (= toasted bread) as well. There's also a talk in Indonesia that a Warkop's Indomie is tastier than a home made Indomie 😅
@@unculturedtravel I explored your channel, and seems that most of Indonesian food you already tasted are Javanese food (well, Javanese people are everywhere in Indonesia including myself 😅) except for Papeda (from Eastern Indonesia). There's also Padang food which is also very popular in Java (Padang itself is in Western Sumatra). Padang food is also well known for its spicy dishes, so if you like sambal, I believe it would be a good option. There are also Balinese food and Manado food that are quite popular in Indonesia, but might be rarer in US. I tried to google Padang food in New York and I found Sky Cafe & Awang Kitchen serve Nasi Bungkus Padang (seems to be rice + rendang - rendang is one of the most popular dishes of Southeast Asia), don't know if there are any other restaurants in New York that also serve Padang food.
If you're into Indonesian treats, you should try Martabak Manis next time you're in Philly. I believe other people have already reviewed the joint for that place in Philly.
Actually you can add that tictac snack as a topping for your indomie, I can guarantee it will be delicious. And of course it can be added to other foods too 🤩

dang man... in middle night watch you eating Indomie just made me more starving haha... and yes really starving right now 🤣
Found this video about eating indomie goreng.. nothing can beat this type if Indonesians comfort food.. happy that you enjoyed it too :)))
Double thumbs up for you to eat Indomie with additional chili. I'm amazed. 😊👍
The one in the description, "This was cheap Indonesian food in NYC and delicious, go check it out!"
In Indonesia, it's very popular because it is much more cheaper and there are much more variety of the flavour.
7:58 Jasuke (jagung susu keju) (corn milk cheese) is a classic sweet indonesian dessert which are corn with condensed milk and grilled cheese as a topping, it's usually served in a small portion, that's the very common way but they might add another topping
I don't think the cheese is necessarily grilled. It's just simply grated
The snacks that you tried is actually a good topping for the indomie with the soup, you should try 😁
Sweet tea & Indomie goreng... perfect combination!!! I'm with you!!!❤
hey, stay healthy and happy. you're doing such a great job
Jasuke stand for Jagung Susu Keju it means mix of the Corn, Milk, and Cheese. It's snacks that are quite popular in Indonesia
the universe loves Indomie ❤
Alay

@@wirawira9716yo bro.. just smile n get along with the joke😂
Appreciated you like to try Indonesian food & the culture, also explaining the details politely 😇
Where do I start! I said I would go to Philippines at 100k, maybe Indonesia too! What’s a good island to visit for food?
I suggest you try Soda Gembira literally means Happy Soda, next time. It is made from soda, milk and coco pandan syrup. A very refreshing beverage that is commonly sold in Warmindo (Warung/Shop Indomie) -- a Warkop version in Indonesia.
Indomie has a variety of flavor inspired by local foods in Indonesia. More than 30 flavours I think.
Yah highly recommend
that Belibis sauce is the"saltiest"chili sauce that Indonesia have. it have less chili(kicks) and more salt. that's why here, a lot of people preferred ABC or indofood Chili sauce brand.
aside from the noodle msg pack, the saltines that you taste probably comes from that sauce
Red 1 and abc best. The Sambal Jawara also good, but that one is more garlicky.
Maybe from the cornet beef, bcs it's salty too
belibis > abc
Yummy 😋 I'am so hungry now hungry 😣 And i have to cook INDOMIE 🇮🇩🍜
Wow man , you eat such flirting me to try this in my Ramadhan day 😅 . Thanks for make this content.. love your honest reaction
I've seen a lot of your videos, there aren't any videos that have viewers as much content about Indonesia. Indonesians are very solid, when you discuss anything about their country they will watch it straight away, they will even tell people as much as possible to watch your video
You must try the soup style of Indomie bro...in Indonesia we add some caisim veggie n chili called "rawit" and egg. Perfect dish when raining..😊
Afh iyh deck?
Best eaten on any occasion, and very customise-able type of noodle. You could try your own favourite sauce, croutons, cheese or whatever 😁
semacam tempat ajaib di new york , begitu anda masuk pintu masuk , serasa pulang ke rumah , ke indonesia
Thanks u sir for your taste my country food 🔥🇮🇩💗👑
You should've mixed that tic tac "peanut" with Indomie. Lots of people in Indonesia do that to give a crispy texture when we eat Indomie Goreng (fried one, rarely the soup one)
I do this too. I ear with soup one only when the soup left, not with the noodle.😁
i usually eat tic tac while watching movies from netflix or football games in indonesia , maybe u should try too man 😁
Damn the reaction to the snack makes me want to try it asap
Taste like crispy cheese but it wasnt cheese , salty , crispy , strong garlic taste, lil bit creamy
Indomie and Nasi goreng are my two favourite Indonesian dishes cheap simple and awesome Aussie living in Bali 😊
Great that you love Indomie Noodle. JFYI, as for the history there are two big origins of Indomie restaurants that currently have a lot of branches in Indonesia first Warkop Tampomas (from Sumedang City) & second Warmindo (from Kuningan City).
I love his reaction after the first bite of pilus, "Yo!" 😂
The phenomenal indonesian noodle🍲😍
Delicious, what do you like for toppings?
@@unculturedtravel egg and fried onions are perfect✔

Throughout your video in WarKop, songs from Indonesian musicians reverberate. Wow amazing ❤
What a great restaurant!
in indonesia we love mixing many salty snack (ex tic
tac) with indomie rebus(soup style) and u can put some vegetables, egg, fried onion,beef..
If you love salty & spicy ones I recommend you to try Indomie Goreng Aceh (packaging is deep green colour)! If you refer crunchy sensations try Indomie Goreng Kriuukkk! 😍🍜
I'm sub now. Great content

Nothing wrong on how you want to eat your food really.. your food.. your way.. 😂 oh and Indomie plus iced cold Teh Kotak just perfect
I give suggestions : add ”pilus” with indomie, sarimie, abc (whatever brand available)
Basically Pilus = adonan terigu + bumbu..... Digoreng kering (please use auto translate.... English isnt my native language)
Please add more information about where are you and the Indonesian restaurant "warkop" located ❤
Warkop is basically a tiny version of a corner store thats barely the size of a bedroom and its almost on every corner of a street in Indonesia man. And yeah we love mixing food with anything and thats how the "internet" combo started
The size does not matter nowadays. The big and huge Warkop is getting popular these days, especially in big city. But the small one still exists

Everyone talks about the indomie but you guys gotta love the tic tac cassava ball snacks, it has so much portion inside than your average potato chip snacks yet its cheaper like 1 dollar in my country!!
They are delicious! What’s another great snack?
@@unculturedtravel I would recommend you to buy Kusuka, its another indonesian brand Cassava chips
Great! Yang jualan orang Indo juga itu :-) .. kedengeran suaranya lagi ngobrol pas lafi makan internet nya ya..

I'm craving Indomie right now 😊
Indomie seleraku....... Best instant nodle in the world

Indomie forever. Love from Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦
Guilty food of Indonesia...😂
I usually eat those when I'm down. Always lift my spirit.
So glad you enjoyed them.❤
I love this, a mood booster!
Got this recommendation from RUclips after finishing my Indomie rebus inside my home 😂
Btw, there'a also a more complete variant called "Internetju" = INdomie + TElor (egg) + korNET (corned beef) + keJU (cheese). Traditional Warkop used to serve Burjo (bubur kacang ijo = sweet porridge made from mung beans) & roti bakar (= toasted bread) as well. There's also a talk in Indonesia that a Warkop's Indomie is tastier than a home made Indomie 😅
Thanks for this info! What’s another Indonesian dish I should try next?
@@unculturedtravel you should try mie bakso or meat ball soup with noodle
If you're into Indonesian treats, you should try Martabak Manis next time you're in Philly. I believe other people have already reviewed the joint for that place in Philly.
Actually you can add that tictac snack as a topping for your indomie, I can guarantee it will be delicious. And of course it can be added to other foods too 🤩
