I started digging through things, and I found a couple of skateboards, dirt motorcycle racing clothing, and other odds and ends. I think that I sold most of the things and got about $250, plus I used the chair for 2 years and sold it for $20. Not bad.

Judging by my base knowledge you could probably be better off selling it for parts. If you know about computers it's not too hard to take them apart, and you could easily wipe and sell the hard drive and all the different pieces. I bet that would be better in the long run as opposed to trying to get it fixed or in working condition.

For stuff he keeps and sells he moves on his own. It doesn't cost much on eBay to sell or even at a consignment Store. He's a smart man, he'll make a decent profit.
eBay only takes 13%, post office picks up at my warehouse, if the laptop works it’s easily $100, Labor to move stuff was about 10 minutes, and time is irrelevant considering this is what I do for a living. I put in my 40 hours per week and get a paycheck just like any other job. Only difference is that I own the company and get to decide when those 40 hours take place.
