    Hex bit and a few turns on each screw, that futon frame would be in 2 sections. A lot easier carry it in 1 load. Not return later. I keep drill and bits on hand just in case.

    I bought a storage locker that had boxes, suit cases, and a living room chair, for $25. I started digging through things, and I found a couple of skateboards, dirt motorcycle racing clothing, and other odds and ends. I think that I sold most of the things and got about $250, plus I used the chair for 2 years and sold it for $20. Not bad.

    “If it’s not worth anything on Amazon it’s certainly not worth anything on ebay. “
    That may be true for newer books but not necessarily so for older out of print books. I’ve seen books sell on ebay for twice what Amazon sellers are asking. People get caught up in the bidding and hate to lose.

    Judging by my base knowledge you could probably be better off selling it for parts. If you know about computers it's not too hard to take them apart, and you could easily wipe and sell the hard drive and all the different pieces. I bet that would be better in the long run as opposed to trying to get it fixed or in working condition.

    • @ResaleRabbit
      @ResaleRabbit  6 лет назад

      I’ve ordered a charger to test it (about $12) to see if it works. Im not a computer guy, but I know a few who fix these for me for cheap (as long as the issue is minor). For $20 I can have windows reinstalled and it will be good as new(ish) lol.
      Of course, if it has a more major issue, correct, it’s not worth selling. I’d list it for parts as it sits either on eBay or in a local auction.

    A quick non-intensive search on Black & Decker jar openers showed prices from $70 to $150. More for the larger models, which you seem to maybe have. So, $100 is not unreasonable, BUT who, really, uses a jar opener and will spend $100 on one? Not me! Besides, what's contained in glass jars these days, anyway? I'd bet you'll get $25-$50 for your's, maybe, and it'll take a long time to sell. Any update? And, $15 for a Casio digital camera? Really?

      He knows where to dump each part of this locker. Auctions, consignment shops some stuff for E Bay maybe some stuff if he had a warehouse sale coming up. Unwanted shoes and clothes donate to Salvation Army (screw Goodwill the bums). If you don't mind putting in the work storage units can be great. If it's not your cup of tea find other ways to get merchandise to sell. Rabbit has about 10 different ways so find what works for you best.

      eBay only takes 13%, post office picks up at my warehouse, if the laptop works it’s easily $100, Labor to move stuff was about 10 minutes, and time is irrelevant considering this is what I do for a living. I put in my 40 hours per week and get a paycheck just like any other job. Only difference is that I own the company and get to decide when those 40 hours take place.
