My friend almost died two years ago around christmas due to health issues. His now soon to be ex wife stood by him. (btw she also cooks, cleans etc, basically traditional) 9 months ago they had a babygirl, with whom she left him 1 month ago, and it's over. She "only" had two red flag: daddy issues, and she left my friend once,, 4 years before for like 2 weeks.

I’m a gringo and my wife is Colombian. I know what your thinking lol but she’s amazing. She does have a attitude at times for no reason but I feel that is her only flaw. She is a Latina…She cooks 3-4 times per week. Home cook meals. She Cleans, does laundry . I help 50% of time as well. She never goes out with her friends . If she does it is for a work out early in AM. She takes care of me while I’m sick. She pulls in a great paycheck. 50k a year or so. I now make 120k…We don’t want kids . She’s a kindergarten teacher I think that has some to do with it… I’m 31 she is 29. Her dad left when she was 3 years old. But I have not seen any red flags regarding that issue. Was dating a very successful woman who is 63, I am 66. She was an accountant for big oil and I was an electrical engineer. Dated almost 28 months. I’m all for a gal with a low notch count, but if you’re older than high school age, it’s going to be damn near impossible to find those unicorns. I left my ex-wife and started dating again at 40. I went out with a variety of gals, many in their mid-20s. They were immature, made horrible decisions, and only were interested in partying. I finally gave up on them, and started going out with gals my own age who were established, had enough life experiences to realize when they’re with a decent guy, and had a much more realistic outlook on life with reasonable expectations of their partner. Everyone has a past. As long as their past doesn’t weigh them down, what’s wrong with that?
As a 39 year old married woman, I can tell you...that 100% of the time, women with a high notch count have a lot of baggage. They have passed on guys and regret it, they have let men use them and regret it, and they have used men and regret it. Even if it didn't result in a child, they carry those men with them to a degree. I know women my age with high notch counts, and they have so much anxiety its pathetic. If I make a commitment, that means I will have to be willing to give up all my options for just her. Does she fill in the gaps that I lack? Do we compliment each other well enough that the things that I don’t like she thrives in those areas? My conclusion is this woman does not exist, but I can find a few woman who will be able to offer everything I look for as a group. What I learned works best is to keep my own home and see a few regular women 3 or 4 days per week. It keeps me from feeling smothered and allows me the time away from her so when we do see each other I can look forward to seeing her.

My mom took care of my dad when he was dying of cancer. It was the greatest show of true love I have ever seen.

Even if a woman doesn't know how to cook, does she have the heart to learn because she doesn't want anybody in the house getting food poisoning? Just like how women used to Care about whether or not their home was sanitary as to not draw in vermin that would bring diseases, even while a clean home is also much more peaceful and less chaotic during downtime because remember folks didn't have television for thousands of years, and, women used to care about hygiene and the health of the skin by making sure the clothing got washed whenever she had time, and even though men invented washing machines to make their women less stress from it has led them to be so far as competent and heartless but it doesn't matter if she can cook or clean, it matters if she CARES enough to cook or clean. Folks had to wear their clothes pretty much all day everyday and would develop skin infections and diseases because of it. Women used to contribute and they used to care so find a woman who gets it or find one that is willing to be trained but know that if you don't provide the security and the comfort for her to move back into her feminine, she won't be able to be her best feminine self
I think by the time she's an adult, she should at least have some basic cooking skills.
I’m all for a gal with a low notch count, but if you’re older than high school age, it’s going to be damn near impossible to find those unicorns. I left my ex-wife and started dating again at 40. I went out with a variety of gals, many in their mid-20s. They were immature, made horrible decisions, and only were interested in partying. I finally gave up on them, and started going out with gals my own age who were established, had enough life experiences to realize when they’re with a decent guy, and had a much more realistic outlook on life with reasonable expectations of their partner. Everyone has a past. As long as their past doesn’t weigh them down, what’s wrong with that?

As a 39 year old married woman, I can tell you...that 100% of the time, women with a high notch count have a lot of baggage. They have passed on guys and regret it, they have let men use them and regret it, and they have used men and regret it. Even if it didn't result in a child, they carry those men with them to a degree. I know women my age with high notch counts, and they have so much anxiety its pathetic. Women aren't psychologically designed for a lot of partners.

Lol…interesting, but we don’t want men who have slept around though. Maybe women who have slept around aren’t as picky, but if he acts trashy, then he’s not desirable imo. If a guy has a reputation, the general consensus among the women I know (especially when we were in our 20s) has historically been to stay away. He’s not seen as a trustable guy by women. I knew my husband had been with a few, and that kind of bugged me in the early years. Nowadays it’s seems like standards are a little different and that people have more partners, so it’s to be expected. Interesting discussion though…

If I make a commitment, that means I will have to be willing to give up all my options for just her. Does she fill in the gaps that I lack? Do we compliment each other well enough that the things that I don’t like she thrives in those areas? My conclusion is this woman does not exist, but I can find a few woman who will be able to offer everything I look for as a group. What I learned works best is to keep my own home and see a few regular women 3 or 4 days per week. It keeps me from feeling smothered and allows me the time away from her so when we do see each other I can look forward to seeing her.
