This sanctuary could still give shelter to those in desperate need during difficult times, and many of them, in turn, could help to clean & fully restore a historically important structure. These gardens could once again flourish to help feed the needy. Prayers for peaceful solutions.
AMAZING! You're right, we will never again see such beauty. It is definitely a sacred place. Prayers that it doesn't go to waste and can be salvaged in some way for the community. Thank you so much for the tour. Praise God that it is still standing. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
I recognized a lot of things from my grandmother’s and my mom’s era. My mom was a nurse & I too. I could recognize the medical equipment used when I was a student nurse. Things have changed a lot very quickly. Excellent video!! Thanks!
Thank you for the tour through this amazing, scared place so sad it had to be abandoned. I too feel that this wonderful place could be restored and found a use for, these are such hard times. I am sure this building could come alive again providing housing. The problem with this building imho is the massive structure it is keeping heat going in the winter months would cost a fortune, hopefully it can be rescued. Too many of these exceptional buildings are rotting away such a shame. I am very happy to see no vandalism so far. I did notice that things seem to be out of place in different rooms. I doubt that was done by the nuns so I would expect that other people through the years have been inside the walls. Thanks again beautiful building.
I didn't want the video to end, this place is amazing! I loved seeing all the old telephones. Your voice and ability to tell the stories of these places is excellent! 😊
The green paint they used here was also commonly used in other institutions such as medical hospitals, mental hospitals etc. It's very high in lead content.
The Catholic Church didn’t have the money to keep up on repairs? REALLY? I find that very hard to believe considering they are the wealthiest religion on earth. They own properties all over the world worth billions
In albany NY. We had a beautiful gem Done Steward private school. Just about the size of the building your exploring…..some ass torched it last year. Nothing left….. look it up
It would be a God send if someone would be bold and of great faith and courageous to step into the very role of the resurrection of this God given structure and be a great light to this city and even the world. No greater pleasure, purpose to do this for such a time as we r living . You can’t take your money with you so invest in the very lives of others . The highest priority and privilege you could do with like minded people ….🙏🌎🌟

The architecture in that building is spectacular. Those vaulted ceilings with that brickwork is like a work of art.
💯
It's a Frigidaire electric Refrigerator... The small metal box inside is the Freezer. We had one a bit bigger when I was a kid. 😊

That kitchen sink is identical to the one in my house! My house was built in 1924 or 1929.
With the housing crisis in NYC, this would make great apartments! What a beautiful place !
Fantastic I love the drone footage,Very good video worth to wait 🎟 Thank you....
Yoooo thank you patric !
Absolutely beautiful chapel ❤

My thoughts exactly.
When in the chapel I would be listening to the song Blue light by DAVID J GILMOUR from the 1984 album about face
Such a beautiful place
Wonderful video.

I remember it I lived up the road from it.Beautiful once .Now it’s all gone. What a shame
Hey Hey Rick nice video
Are the chapel walls mosaic tile, or is it the way it's painted? Either way, it's pretty to see!
If I would have waited five seconds, you would have told me!
Tile !
Amazing
Sad to see it like this.
The Proper People done this building a few months go they expected in it
They did what?
So sad such a waste of valuable space😢
Love the Nativity
rick that was a drill press
Need part 2 please.
You think?
How did they heat this monstrosity?!
Good question
Many Orbs in one room 😲🎴
That was most likely asbestos stuff that they don't care that they're breathing in.
That was most likely asbestos dust. RUclipsrs are not really careful about anything.
What part of NYC is this?
Maybe they could renovate into apartments
Ya maybe, but they would have to remove quite a bit of asbestos. It would be a lot of work .
@@RangerRickTV and alot of money as well
