Join us as we explore an old property left Vacant after the sad passing of the owner.
Left behind is a treasure trove of items from the 40s and 50s, and lurking in a cobwebbed corner of the yard sits a gun cabinet with actual Guns!!
We also discover an old 40s Land Rover sat rotting away and overgrown by nature.

Diana air rifles were made in Germany, that looks very like a Diana Model 1, so could have been made as early as 1920 , at the latest the 1940s.
Alex, that thing hanging from the light fitting in the caravan is a pomander, a type of air freshener.
Diana mod 1 and bsa jaguar ithink would love to have them for restoration
Reminds me of some places I would explore as a kid. Newspaper of 1949, three years after the big war ended. Because of the war, some people never returned home leaving behind spouses and belongings. Some retuned home injured spending their final days in a care homes. I took care of a few widows back in the 60s who faced exactly that
Thank you for doing that. In the words of our friends across the pond "Thank you for your service" x
Happy New Year! That shed was just so full of old goodies!
Thanks, Alex, Steve, and of course, Ed!
You guys are so much fun to watch and always find such neat things. Happy New Year to you.
Happy new year!
That caravan is much older than ‘70’s…..more like ‘40’s or 50’s!! How fun you guysare!!
Another great video, the farmers catalogue with the old man on the front is 3d which is 3 old pennies not 3 shillings 😮
Happy New Year guys! 🎉 Thank you for taking us exploring! 😊
Happy new year Paul 😁👍
@@VacantHaven 🥳🤘
9pm. Will be there. I have missed you all!! 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗😜
Great clip as always. I think the caravan is 1950s, judging by the 'space-age' style interior door handles.
I think your right! The shape of the exterior was quite space age too. The 70s carpet threw me off
I love watching you guys, you respect what you see and have fun doing it. Happy New Year
How much fun was that shed? What a fabulous find. Thanks guys!
Oh boy that was a fun beginning to the New Year. Thank you and your crew. Thoroughly enjoyed that!!!! 🤗🤗🤗
Our pleasure! Glad you enjoyed Nanny, plenty more....in 2024 😁👍👍
What a great find to start the New Year off, the rest of the year is going to be full interesting finds, the round ceramic that was hanging up in the caravan was a potpourris they were all the rage in the 80’s .👌🏴🇬🇧
HAPPY NEW YEAR to the three of you, Steve , Eddy , And Alex for the best show to start the 2024 year off .Thank you all so much for bringing back so many memories . The old Tri Ang toys and the two air guns , I could stay in there forever. That caravan was right out of the fifties , and to finish off with the rockets and a big bang , what more can I say . God Bless you all and a hope that the new year brings happiness , good health , and more of your great explores . Stuart in Canada ..
Thanks Stuart! Hope you have a happy new year and a positive 2024!
All the best 😁👍
yep definitely 1950's .I wonder what they used to tow it with? a Land rover would be struggling. My Dad used to hire a caravan every year in the 1960's and I remember an English one being the same design as that but not as big. The family Zephyr was working hard up hills towing it .
Happy New Year guys. Wow! The caravan is amazing! I think it’s earlier than 70’s more like 40’s or 50’s, because of the design of the couch. It would be great to restore the caravan…Stay safe. 🙂
This place has so much history shame its left to rot cant wait for pt2 😮
Diana has been an air gun industry leader since way back in 1892. During this time, they have built a reputation for quality air rifles. The Stormrider, however, is their first foray into budget-friendly PCP air rifles.
WOW !! Very 😎😎 love seeing this from the 1930s to 40s
Happy New Year 🎉🎉🎉

The 'what's that?' that was hanging in the caravan, is known as a pot pourri pomander. For my sins I used to collect them. 😜 Fabulous finds this week, guys. Pompeye always has me in stitches. Great stuff!
As someone already said this caravan is 1950's look at the art deco styling. They didn't have toilets in them. You went to the shower block. Or as Steve said you took your spade to dig a hole. Beautiful old bird. Yes, the thing hanging off the light is a pommander. You would fill it from the bottom with things like dried herbs/lavender, cloves for keeping the moths away.
Thanks guys for another video glad that you are back happy new year to all😊
What a great find guys lots of old interesting things especially the old newspapers the caravan was brilliant a shame you couldn't get into the house. Happy new year Alex , Steve and Eddy xx
From the records that he pulled out I was able to look up "brightly dawns our wedding day" on youtube and listen. According to information I could find it was published in 1930. It really seemed to fit the style of stuff found in that shed. So much forgotten and lost.
Can't wait looking forward to watching this mate 👌👍
Amazing!! Missed you all . Happy New Year to you all
Awesome 👍 fellas exploring. The old air rifle looks like 177 break barrel, my granny use to have one of those bird cages. Made by Poly-gon 74+ 🍁hunter Yorkshire expat

Yep so did I, had my grandson, pretty much played game with him, which was hilarious as I havnt a clue.... missed last few post of VH. These guys are hilarious and informative. Will catch up soon 😊
Those records aren’t vinyl, they are Ebonite 78 rpm. The “guns” are toy BB guns 😂
A treasure trove of all manner of things! Cheers Alex, Ed and Steve Happy New Year 💥
😎👍
It is not ebonite ! Ebonite is rubbery substance.
In the late 19th and early 20th century, manufacturers used shellac, a brittle resin-like substance produced by insects, to press their records. In order to ensure that the shellac held up, manufacturers would add ground up stone and carbon black powder to the mix in order to strengthen the otherwise brittle material.
looks like lil timmy finally learned how to copy and paste and is going to town on this video correcting anyone who has a differing thing to say than what he thinks is right. eh?@@bikerleo1966

Happy New Year to you all. That was an amazing explore, so much old stuff
Happy new year guys, lovin the vids, that barn was so ace. Little tip from a farmer; always climb a gate on the hinged side.
Records of that era were made very differently to how records were made later.
In the late 19th and early 20th century, manufacturers used shellac, a brittle resin-like substance produced by insects, to press their records. In order to ensure that the shellac held up, manufacturers would add ground up stone and carbon black powder to the mix in order to strengthen the otherwise brittle material.
A happy and healthy 2024 to you guys! Thanks for all the laughs, and I'm looking forward to seeing where you take us in the next 12 months.
Happy new year guys thanks for all your great vids xxx

HAPPY NEW YEAR from America 🇺🇸 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Happy new year 😁 👍
It’s a two bang🤣🤣 brilliant lads, happy new year 🎉🥳🍻
Happy new year them shed was right full of old good stuff just hope no body else finds out and steal anything to sell as looks like it's been sat for many years and the house looks the same but sealed up tight
If that caravan was for sale I would buy it just needs a wash and cleaned up on the inside.😊👍❤️
It's a gypsy van, that's why it's so big and has no bathroom. Beautiful vans but worth very little, you need a big vehicle to tow them!
Great find goes way back to the 1950s the toys also date back to around 1959 wow 👌 let's hope the stuff is saved 🙏
That fireworks thing was really kewl.
Diana was a gun maker! Not personalised 😂😂
Still is High End Pellet rifles.
More than anything, I love you guys!! Hahaha
Happy new year everybody. Hope it’s a good one for you all -)

Good afternoon. Good to see all you guys again.😊👍
Happy New Year guys! Great video! Stay safe guys!
Happy new year guys! I enjoy your videos.
Some great antiques. Diana were an American air rifle manufacturer, I had one like the first rifle Ed got out myself. Happy New Year guys
I stand corrected, although my Diana rifle (1970's) was American made the company were originally German
Mayer & Grammelspacher GmbH was founded in Rastatt in 1890[1] by 24-year old toolmaker Jakob Mayer and financier Josef Grammelspacher, initially focusing on household metal goods. Two years later they introduced their first air gun, a pistol, based[3] on the Haviland & Gunn model of 1872.[4] The first rifle, a break barrel design, followed in 1895. Early products were marked "MGR" (for Mayer, Grammelspacher and Rastatt) before the introduction of the now-famous "Diana" brand name. In 1901 Grammelspacher left the company for reasons unknown, whilst Mayer was awarded his first patent.[3]
Nice one very interesting read! Cheers 👍
Happy new year all the best for the new year 👍👍👍👍
Late but here. Happy new year lads 🎉
Happy new year to you and yours 😁 👍
Cracking video Happy New Year ,
I am the scream was from a fox. The Caravan was late 50s early 60s and would never have had a toilet in them.
What a treasure ....

Love all your videos Alex happy new year to you all you lads have a good one ❤
The Caraven was cool
Great vid...interesting stuff in there...looks like old break barrel air rifles...Diana are still going today.
Happy New Year another nice find.
I think the caravan might be a Carlite. A very high quality make, sometimes called the Rolls Royce of caravans.
Maybe but given the size, it's more likely a vintage Roma. Designed for living in year-round so built very strong, the downside is that you need a big vehicle to tow it due to the weight, and most caravan sites won't accept them because of the association with gypsies.
(You're also much more likely to get stopped by the police while towing one, for the same reason. Apparently other large, 'winterised' vans like those made by Polar and Hobby suffer from the same stigma, the powers that be assume you're living in it, and treat you accordingly.)
Lovely vans, much better built than most statics, but lots of drawbacks unless you're planning on just parking one for use as extra accommodation.
Vintage dianna air riffle 1930 - 1940's great find on its own.
Reminded me of one of my grandads sheds a long time ago x
