Those things that look like graves are a leach line for the house . its a drain field for the sewer system
I always look forward to your videos even though it makes me nervous in case you get caught, Ed makes me laugh with his dry sense of humour when he discovers objects of interest all of you make an excellent team.👌🏴🇬🇧
I love the old Arts & Crafts houses, they were all very different.
I like the places you guy's find. It's always so fascinating to see what's left behind. This mansion you showed today is in a very sad condition. It must've been gorgeous in it's prime. The architecture is incredibly beautiful and unique, and the view of the country is phenomenal everywhere you look. Thank you for the wonderful tour.
Cool video, just come across your stuff and really enjoy it!!
Omg! Guys in it’s “Hey Day” you can tell this house was truly BEAUTIFUL. I Love all the windows.
Hello Alex and gang! What an amazing home. The grounds are beautiful. The “D “ on the sink is drain. Pompeye trying to help Ed see the Attic. 😅This house would have been amazing in it’s day. Such a shame this place is in such bad shape. Great video! 😊❤
Thank you Rayna, glad you enjoyed that one.
Such an odd place, thanks for watching and for supporting 😁👍
Looks incredible. Cant wait fir the chilling discovery 😉🤗
Enjoy Nanny! Very strange find
Legend has it that @Nanny Of Many is still waiting for the chilling discovery.

What. The ‘graves’?
The drainage overflow gravelled dugouts? 😂🤣😂
Watching yous walk on that broken floor gave me the absolute fear 😅
Yous make a gr8 team thanks for taking us with you on this journey
Stay safe guys 💙
Just brilliant, just when i think you can't turn anything better out! YOU TURN THIS OUT! JUST THE BEST! WELL DONE LAD! XXX
Nice one Maz, but you wait till next week!!
Pompeye is in his element 🤣
But thanks as always for your support 😁👍
Great explore guys. Very sad to see a classic building in such disrepair. The oak panelled passageway was unreal. Gotta mention that you guys sure have an uncanny knack of finding secret safes in a lot of these old buildings. Good work 👍
Another top notch quality investigation with the best team and usual great humour and comments. This has been a great addition to this bank holiday guys! Great to see more of Ned too…he’s cool! 👍
What a beautiful building. That hallway with the blue glass is amazing. Thanks for sharing.
Best way to spend a sunday night, A chilled out beautiful exploring video! .. Yet again I loved it... Thanks fellas .. Top notch, every time :)
I must say, I love Ed, he seems to be a daredevil and there are times when he has me laughing 😂 And I must I love your explorations ❤ Keep up the good work I’m rooting for ya 😊❤
Brilliant explore. Pompeye you might not wanna get in a bath with Ned, but plenty would, he’s a handsome lad
Ohhh wow, I’m hooked can’t wait to watch!
I like your channel is the best in the world 🌎🌎🌎
Very kind of you Oli 😁👍
Thanks for exploring another vacant haven with us!😁 I liked how the greenery has started taking over like on that show "Life After People." That is a wet area so I would expect more decay if it's been empty for more than a year. Great explore, wish I could see some of these in person.
Thanks as always Paul, glad you enjoyed, it's such a shame to see a property like this rot.
But even if you can't get to visit these places, it's much safer watching us do it lol.
@@VacantHaven Yes, that is why I love that people like you make videos and put them up on RUclips so I can watch you guys go where I can't!
First time watcher! I really enjoyed watching. I am extremely fond of historical properties. It would fun to hear an update on any records. Curious, not sure if it’s public info to know details on when the home was built owners etc. I just thought it would be so best to see if there’s any info on family that built this home.
Would have loved to see it in its glory days. Thank you for sharing
Great to see you Ed and Ned showing us around that mahoosive mansion. Hopefully someone will bring it back to its glory one day. Thanks for sharing Alex xx
That was cool. Love the extra features there like the iridescent tiles and the ceiling in that big room. Thanks guys. Love your videos ❤
You're welcome, cheers for watching 👍
That is such a shame he’s building has just left abandoned and then nature takes its course in history to it and whatever happened to the people may rest in peace with the details of that house is absolutely nice and the inside or out and it’s a shame, is it just right in the way?
Personally I think at one time this place was amazing. Please remember don't ever disrespect these homes of those that you don't know or know the history of. Nice video. TFS New sub here
I love this video. It was great. Keep up the good work, Alex. 👍👍👍😍😍😍
Cheers Sharon much appreciated 👍 😀👍
Hi Alex,Ed and Ned,enjoying the explore👍👍👍🇨🇦
Thanks Marilyn 👍
This looks like it was/is owned by an American. The light switches are vintage in the USA, and the sink is a standard (though vintage) size in America. Also, that middle faucet marked with a “D”, is for the tub/shower Diverter.
nah, the D is to operate the drain plug
The Switches- buttons are like something off Resident Evil
Hi, I am new subscriber, I want to know if you ever encounter paranormal activity in the abandoned houses you explore ?
What a shame that home was allowed to deteriorate. The windows were beautiful. Sad, sad
The center knob on the bathtubs labeled 'D' likely operates the mechanism that opens and closes the tub drain.
12:37 I think what you see here are the foundations of another building or fountain structure that used to be there. It would’ve been stone, there’s possible footings for pillars lined up in front of this then the L in the back is a corner, the 2 facing the other direction was the doorway, then the other front wall. There’s a massive amount of stone that looks excavated from there or perhaps was the roof towards the right of the screen. There’s a stairway leading down to it from the house as well. Also possible it’s just dug out to expose the sewer and water pipes.
Really enjoyed this one the back of it was stunning nice find x
Thanks Annie, glad you enjoyed that one!
New to your channel. Great explores! The buttons you were pushing were light switches. Here in the US, that's the old style "tube and knob" electric wiring that had those switches.
Beautiful job guys, as usual! I just love watching you all explore.
All those lovely knobs and key hole decor I hope there saved allArt deco
Just Love All of Your Video's....Everyone a Gem.XX😊
That reinforced hut looked like a guard house
I want those blue stained glass windows they are beautiful!
Vacant haven you found a air raid shelter of sorts as for graves looks like bodies was exhumed ages ago many rich toffs wanted mother in law or family buried on grounds of their house some very well off had crypts and mosoleums 👍🐾🦊
I hope we didn't find graves although I'm really not too sure!
Thanks for your your comments and cheers for watching 👍
@@VacantHaven np keep up great content but des look suspicious like a family plot perhaps you can look into it like a archive history of site should shed light perhaps 👍🐾🦊
Another really interesting video guys! Looking at the blocks outside and the work that had been started, i think those graves may actually be the start of some foundations diggings. Super cool house tho!
Love it 😀🙋🏻♀️🦋💕🇺🇸
Half a million quid and you would have a perfect place , the long corridor leading into the big room would make a perfect wedding venue , think the graves were for pets or some project that never really got started let alone finished .
That would have been a beautiful home in it’s hay day it’s sad it’s so run down I hope they do it back up to its former glory. Another great find by You guys love watching your shows I look forward to them every weekend great job 10 out of 10. Kind regards. Allan.
That was awesome. What a fascinating place. I wonder if you searched the local parish records if you would find when the house was actually built. I am also curious to know what those grave like dents were.
Thank you Jenny, it was very difficult to find out anything about this property.
I hope those holes were for drainage...
Trenches maybe drainage for soggy lawn after badly filled in pool
Brilliant as ever
Thank you Troy 👍
I do enjoy your exploring videos ❤
Wow. ❤😊
Interesting place . The light switches and some of the bathroom fixtures look to be from the 1920s. That very top floor looked to be maybe a suite for a housekeeper perhaps
Is this house getting demolished such a shame if so
I honestly couldn't tell you, I hope it'll be renovated!
Heard a child’s voice when you were looking at the soda bottle between 18:08-18:12. Sounded like “Need help”
Looks like a Victorian mock Tudor place?
Hopefully find out by the end.
love the vibe
That looks like it might have been an inn.
I like your videos a lot always a great watch!!!!
Few cases of aluminum oxide your half way to making some termite. The 1912 is correct there's a lot of architectural salvage stuff been used in that building. Chilling discovery ? you didn't even find a fridge. Great explore thanks.
Sad and beautiful property… just thinking of how it likely was in it’s glory. I find it so odd the things people leave behind and how they leave it. If this property cannot be restored they should allow salvage so this beautiful mantles, light fixtures, etc can be saved. The staircase and the windows are salvageable too.
I am curious about what the “chilling discovery” was though. Did I miss something?
In the bathroom D stands for Douche which is French for Shower. The bathroom suite must have been ordered from France. Elaine, Derbyshire.
lol. nah D is for drain
do you reckon those holes in the grass were excavations - ,maybe they were trying to look for a sess pit??? or some kind of archaelogical digs???
I'm really hoping it was for drains but I honestly don't know?
The very top attic floor would have originally been the servants quarters , probably two large room . One for males and one for females. should also be Housekeepers quarters which would have been bedroom and probably a sitting room as well.
That house would be nice to get hold of. Would cost a lot to renovate though. Good size section around it. That building you peered in, looked like it might have been some sort of old bunker by the thickness of the walls. Where those four pits or graves were. Odd how the shape of that area was shaped. How it had the slanting grass 'roof' as if there was an underground building or something.
What are you whispering for? …. Think the ghosties might come out to play???🤣🤣🤣
If you look at the date on the drain pipe again I think it says 1921... right at the end of the Arts and Craft movement. :)
That concrete building at the end definitely was a WW2 bomb shelter/pillbox. Many Manor House’s were used as field hospitals and war room command centres during that era. It could probably belonged to the local lord/MP at the time.
Good video
Nice one Guy's 👍
Cheers Joe! 👍
Would love to join you on the mystery tour .
Such a Nice Place!
It looks medieval in places
Very nice place.
Healthy plant. Someone is going there regularly and recently.
Its a shame they left that nice antique oak door outside to rot.
The top floor up. In the room looks like self contained appartment
What country are you guys in and is this building in the same country? Sure would make a wonderful events center...
The d stands for drain you can stop it up and then unstop it
With the taps "D" is for drain (it raises the plug)
That place was nice in its day.
looks like someone couldnt afford to finish their house. Sad
Wow❤
Awesome
Those grave looking things are French drains
I could do some gr8 photography there
Did y'all really not know that (D) stands for drain? Lol! 😂
hey vacanthaven just joined legends
Im not surprised nowadays, but still heartbroken that these places are so decrepit.
The D on the bath taps, stands for "Drain"
Those toilets look awfully clean
What is the piano music at the beginning? Shazam or soundhound can't find it. I like it.
Most of these abandoned houses need roofs and closed up from the moisture. If they had those two things they'd be livable. It's just such a shame that so many people are homeless and could live somewhere and at least have a roof over their heads. If I was wealthy I'd love to fix up some of these homes and give people a head start, later they could take care of the house themselves and if not than the next family/person could use it.
Old timey light switches.
looks like a government building the graves look like bunker entrance looks like mi 5 or 6 77
So sad😢
the wall vent is for the coal burner fireplaces, so you do not get gassed.
You have the same accent' as the gieko' gecko' 🦎
Katie price mucky mansion
Yes same arts and crafts style x
D means drain
D is for Drain
First it looks like someone started to renovate the place and just stopped. Wonder what happened
Second, what was the chilling discovery? I didn’t see anything chilling 😊🤷♀️
Did you not see the freezer mate....
@@VacantHaven yeah that was more disgusting lol but it was hilarious
Is that Katy prices mansion?
