My condolences for your loss. Losing family, especially a child is something that some may never really recover from. That old saying "Time heals all wounds" is wrong. Some wounds go too deep.
My heart share your sadness of missing little one ! I lost my favorite little brother and I think of him Daily ! May the Angels watch over them all ! 😌🥰
You never think that one day other people might be looking at all your possessions trying to put your life in the place you once called home. What a sad story. So many pictures she took of her lovely daughter. All those memories left now to share with people all over the world. 😢
I can’t ever get enough of your narrations. You bring these people back from the past and let them live again through your eyes. I think they would be so humbled by your work and dedication. That you haven’t left them forgotten. You are an everyday hero to me. Much love and admiration.
Thank you for sharing your adventures with us. The way you narrated the things you’re seeing seemed we were there with you touring the whole house and reliving the lives of those who lived there. Sad tragedies that happened in their lives as well as happy memories. I appreciated all your efforts and works to share this kind of videos with usThank you very much.
Boy, what a story this house told, and you did it beautifully. We lost two kids. One was six months old, and the other was 44 in 2013. It is hard to lose a child. We raised her three kids; my husband and I have been married 55 years and have lived in our home for 35 years now. I often wonder what will happen to our stuff when we die. I know when my parents passed away, and my two sisters were lost at what to do with things left behind, and I lived in Chicago, which was a good 5 hr drive, so most of the work went to my sisters, and there was a lot of stuff. I hope if my family, for some reason, leaves our home like someone like you goes through it and tells the story. Your tribute to the people who lived in this home you went through this weekend was lovely. Thank you for sharing-your USA Granny.🇺🇸♥️
When my mother died I was left to clear out her belongings. It took me many days to slowly go through her things and pick the most precious memory items to keep. I could not take much so some of her old friends got all her furniture and the renovators cleaned out the rest. I could never do it because it would be too emotional and would take me months. Now I look at all the things around me that I think of as precious but my children will probably donate to charity or throw away. It makes me realise they are just THINGS, nothing more, and will all be left behind when I die.
@@sbalogh53 - The things you leave behind were YOUR things. You enjoy them while you are here. What happens to those things after you leave is not a worry of yours during your lifetime. If these things hold no interest to your children/loved ones it’s because they have their own things. They may keep an item that meant a lot to you simply for sentimental reasons. Enjoy your things now.
It seems you always manage to bring to life beautiful yet sad life stories like this one, showing your deepest respect and care!👏 Thanks to you, their memories will never fade away!
Great explorations! To be a part of these stories from families that lived in faith, love, and happiness, is a special time for us all, from Guam 🇺🇸 USA, thank you bros of decay!
I think Monique moved into Emily’s room after Emily’s death so she could feel near to her. That would explain the master bedroom being used for storage.
This was such a beautiful home so full of memories if a very loving family. I know it was sad and yet what a wonderful life they shared together before they all passed. I am sure they are re-united and happy again together. Beautifully filmed 💜

I was so touched by the lives of these people. To wait so long for a child. But it was very apparent that they loved her very much . They celebrated her life even after death! It tore my heart apart to think the mother lost her 2 loves and had to spend the rest of her life alone grieving for them. Such a sweet and sad story of joy, life and loss! Thank you for caring so much for these people to bring us their story!❤️
Leslie is so passionate in the description of his narrative . We feel it as he translates vibrations of time and place into events to experience as a story with the video. . AS A MASTER IN STORYTELLING HE IS EXPANDING THE ART OF HIS CRAFT.-A WINNER FOR DESCRIPTION IN EXPLORATION TO SHARE ! HOLLER!
My heart broke for this situation. You could feel the love within this home. Brilliant. As a mother I had tears in my eyes when you showed the pictures in the hallway and the area where they measured Emily 's growth. How tragic. Prayers for this family's souls. This home was just darling filled with lovely treasures. Beautiful chairs and my great grandmother passed down a little clock very similar to the one you showed and that knitting box my almost 80 year old mom has. Such memories. Thanks. Now I must say again you my dear Lesley are an angel in disguise. Your compassion and ability to feel and convey emotions and pure respect are a gift. You are a delight to watch and listen to. You are destined for big things. Follow your dreams and pure heart always. Much love from Maryland USA. 🙏👼🕊🥀❤Stay well and safe all of you. 🙋♀️

Hi dear friend Lesley, I can hardly wait, because I am so excited seeing your newest lifestream video! That is looking very promising. What a beautifully furnished room with some incredibly interesting items! - Peace and kindest regards.
Lesley, this is one of the saddest stories you've ever told. Heartbreaking. You can see that Emily was her parent's idol, and this house is like a living shrine to their little girl. Thank you for telling their beautiful story so they will not be forgotten.
Ohh god this was saddest yet beautiful explore ever.. nothing wrong living back the memories like photos because world sees them by explorers like you🙂love from india
I love how old the building is. I love the beautiful natural light in the kitchen and all the wood things in the kitchen. All the wood trim everywhere really is beautiful. (I'm a fan of Leslie, probably seen every episode, but I think if anyone died it was probably a granddaughter? I think a brother and sister grew up in the 70s/80s, hence the pictures over the toilet and the car-decor, and then maybe a granddaughter died in 2012..) Regardless. Leslie treats everything with respect and always shows such beautiful locations. Thank you for sharing. I also love love love the wall of books. It is a cozy, quaint, warm home.
Had we heard this on the news it would be sad, but a passing story. Lesley brings reality to it; the lives, the love, the happiness, and the extreme sadness of grief when loved ones are lost. Children’s deaths especially are so difficult to deal with. I worked in a busy intensive care unit and ER, and night after night were times of answered prayer as well as the shock of sudden loss and unanswered questions. Thank you, Lesley, for giving people the chance to remember those we don’t know, but understand very well the grief they shared. The guest quarters were very unique, and Francois was very handy to have made that “cooling system.” The bathroom photos are interesting indeed, especially for the way they were placed: the woman was looking at the mens’ photos, the man was looking at the womens’ photos. I won’t elaborate because I did not know these people. But it’s - odd. 😮 I know they adored their lovely girl, and what a wonderful life they shared. How sad, but that story is sadly not unique. These things happen every day somewhere. Remembering them in your very thoughtful time capsule video is a kindness you did. Thank you for being such a truly caring person. It must be such a joy, Lesley, to be your friend, and happiness for anyone who is around you. You guys take care wherever you go. Enjoy life and travels, but always be careful and watchful about your person and your belongings (another RUclipsr got all his equipment stolen just recently - all his equipment, in Greece). But do keep eyes in back of your head, all of you watch for one another. Prayers, my friend, and God bless! @29:40 Yes, cork doesn’t transfer heat. It’s also used in trivets sometimes. I’ve found nothing yet on the red/orange auto but I’ll continue to look. Hopefully someone else already has found or does know, I’ve not read through comments yet. That was a mink stole in front of the closets, not a jacket. Very unique style. I have a vintage mink, a gift from my sweet soulmate. It’s beautiful, but I never got the chance to wear it. I love the bathtub with the tile around it and glass windows! The large Japanese fan over the little girl’s bed is pretty - it’s a fan. Do you call those “wavers” in your language? You always call fans that, so it makes me wonder if that’s it. What a sweet little home, real shabby chic family style! Thank you so much, I loved this for how sweet it was. They had wonderful lives, ups and downs, tragedies; life at its best, worst, finest. Just life. How warm 😊.
😢One, if not the saddest explores I have seen. Thank you Leslie for bringing it to us and giving it the best respect you can give us. Loved the way you did this. ❤
Such an emotional journey through the house of an incredible family - you could feel the love throughout. My you rest in eternal peace - thank you Lesley. x
Very cool house. So sad that there is no one to care about this house. Thank you for giving this house a chance to tell it's story! Be well and safe- Chris and Dave
Your very respectful for an abandoned home of which probably will never be lived in again. It is quite sad that no family members would not want to take care of the home or even live in it. Such a great loss of sentimental value.
The house looks like old people home, my grandfather was a photographer in the 50s to the 90s and his early photos were mainly in the small format you found, the middle rectangular format became widely used end 80s then up to now, the blonde-reddish girl with the husband maybe are more likely the parents of the 2000 born red haired child (face looks similar to that of the ‘mother’). Also the wardrobe and decor is in the 80- 90s style (Alain delon and the pinups in the bathroom) . Maybe the father of the red haired child is the kid who was into motors in 1985 which would make more sense.
I believe your deduction is more accurate than Leslie's. Monique seemed to be a very older woman. Her age gap to the little girl who died was too huge for a mother.
Although this was a sad story of a once happy family you once again took us on a journey to learn about this loving beautiful family. As a widow I understand the last years of Monique’s life. She surrounded herself with the memories with pictures of her precious Emily. Also a tip that might help you understand, a widow no longer finds comfort in sleeping in the bed she shared with her beloved husband. From what I observed I believe she was sleeping in either Emily’s bed or the bed in the living room close to the fireplace to stay warm. I hope that you may find this information helpful. I absolutely love your videos.
Your videos have really improved. Love watching from my home in Norther California USA. Would love to know more history - when the house/structure may have been built etc. Really enjoy and absolutely love your enthusiasm and sensitivity.
Do you feel the warmth and fragrance of the people who lived here....I feel it even from Sri Lanka! Thank you for making such a wonderful video, and sharing it with us. Lots of love from Sri Lanka!
I don't know if anyone else feels this way -- but these houses with so many family photos -- and then the dried up and shriveled houseplants that tell the tale: a home full of life and love and living -- no more. 😥
I wonder if they also had a little boy? The one bedroom with photos of a little boy with all the racing posters makes me wonder if they adopted or fostered a young boy? Or maybe he was a close relative who stayed over to play with Emily?
from the age of photos in the bedroom with motocross looks like from 70's-80's the tv is older version so perhaps they raised a son there and the grandchild was the redhaired girl her photos from 90's,was she there quite often visiting or raised by grandparents wonder

Such a cozy home at one time. I think Monique slept in Emily’s room which is why it was the cleanest. Very sad story, told with true sympathy. ❤️🩹 😢
I thought so as well.
I thought that too- the jewelry on the dresser wasn’t for a 12 year old.
Also looked like she slept on the couch in the living room.

Maybe the father of the red haired child is the kid who was into motors in 1985 which would make more sense.
Arien 17 k.I agree.I think they had a son and that this beautiful redhaired girl was their grandchild. That does much more sense to me.
I Love how respectful and loving you are with the homes you go to. You bring life Back into these abandoned homes. Thank you!
Do you feel the warmth and fragrance of the people who lived here....I feel it even from Sri Lanka! Thank you for making such a wonderful video, and sharing it with us. Lots of love from Sri Lanka!
Thank you for all of the respect and care that you show these once loved homes.
An amazing explore. Get watching it folks. 👍🏻
That was interesting but some sadness too. You are very respectful . Thank you. God bless. X
Gone but not forgotten. Thanks for sharing wiht us!!!
I don't know if anyone else feels this way -- but these houses with so many family photos -- and then the dried up and shriveled houseplants that tell the tale: a home full of life and love and living -- no more. 😥
Very nice house you do a wonderful job of telling us the story beautiful but at the same time sad.
I did not even manage 3 minutes into the video before tears started pouring out.
Great place but sad that Emily died so young. Her mother have really missed her as she was beautiful with her red hair. Thank you Leslie
Nice words Ruth , how are you doing ?
I wonder if they also had a little boy? The one bedroom with photos of a little boy with all the racing posters makes me wonder if they adopted or fostered a young boy? Or maybe he was a close relative who stayed over to play with Emily?
from the age of photos in the bedroom with motocross looks like from 70's-80's the tv is older version so perhaps they raised a son there and the grandchild was the redhaired girl her photos from 90's,was she there quite often visiting or raised by grandparents wonder
So sad but they are all together again. Amazing video filmed with such respect. Loved it
It is clear that they all loved and cared for eachother. Peace and love to all of them.

A home stuck in time. You did well to bring life to the family members who lost so much. I think your honoring them would have brought some comfort and joy to their hurt hearts.
The death of their daughter destroyed their lives you can just tell by going through the house but now they are all together

Such a sad story, but it needed to be told, and you did it with such care.
You make such life touching moments of what has past. A sensitive acknowledgement of life and about a life which came, lived and left behind our material remnants.
Poor family losing 2 children I can’t imagine the torment they went thru so sad
So sad and I thank you for showing us this lovely home. Blessings!
