- Jordan 2s are always a hit or miss sneaker; some people love them and well some hate them! However, these DB Jordan 2s are almost impossible to hate. Their unique materials, intricate details and vibrant colors make a statement every-time.
In today's episode of Restorations with Vick; Vick takes on a Doernbecher AJ2 that released back in 2007. Although these aren't considered super rare and they might not even sell for over $500 they definitely deserve all the love.
To start off any restoration, a deep clean is always the way to go. The RESHOEVN8R Essential Cleaning Kit is the perfect way to clean all delicate materials, while still getting the desired results. After that a reglue for the sole was an absolute must.
One pro tip is to always use Mink Oil on older shoes to replenish your leather and keep your sneakers top notch!

I was told by another restorer, you should try using some Barge thinner instead of acetone for delicate areas, or midesole/outsole reglues, it just melts away the old glue like water and it's less harsh than acetone, just a bit pricey. I'll probably get around to getting some and giving it a try eventually, but just a thought for some of your delicate projects. 👏
