I like how when Jordan was gluing the shoe to the lasting board he did it with his fingers and not a brush. He gets his hands dirty, I dono why that stood out but it did. Makes you appreciate the "hand made" part of it.
That was really cool, nice synergia between you guys. Regarding the shoes I think while they look great the burned effect on the hemp is a bit "too much". In my opinion, it would probably have been better to age it, and give it a grungier look, using coffee as well, but keeping it intact. Anyway, just my two cents and taste. Great job guys, I enjoyed the build.
Love the hemp tongue tags and would have been a cool texture on the swoosh but I think all of the upper being covered takes away from that incredible suede!
awesome project... can i ask about what technique/tool you use when cutting out the swooshes? it looks like you had a sticky mat like from a cricut to stop the suede deforming/stretching, is that how you do it?

@@SS-hz4jo we hand-skived these using a a safety skiver from Tandy Leather. I’ve never personally used a double needle, so this was all done on a single!

I have a pair of AF1 that has a hard sole, traction is pretty much gone and I’m not sure what to do. Anyone have any tips or ideas? I know I could do a midsole swap but that would be a last resort Thanks!
