Just ran across your page and subscribed immediately. I really really appreciate you putting out these videos. I have soooo many ideas and about to finally start creating. Looking forward to more fam.
Mate. Brilliant vid. Ive been watching a lot trying to learn and this is the most well explained detailed informative vid ive seen yet. However I have a question, the back of the heel cover shows to be two colours, grey and cream. Am I missing something?
Thanks so much for that feedback man 🙏 many more to come. The cream colour is polyester backing material, its not an essential material but nice to have on certain materials, I may make a seperate series later on to explain that, this one is mainly to just demonstrate the construction process.
@@shoecutterz hey, do you know where i can get some of the polyester from? DLS currently sold out :( p.s great video, im due to make my second pair soon and these videos help
Hi great fukn work bro however question ca u explain why u did the polyester backing seems like u put on all pieces so can u break down whats the reason an what pieces need it an is there an alternative to it maybe regular pellon iron on??
@BFKUSTOMS BFINESTK hey man, that stuff is to give softer leathers some stabilisation and prevent future sagging, it's not compulsory for all leathers especially if it's thick enough. You could use canvas fabric as an alternative which I have done before
Patterns take the creator an incredibly long time to perfect, as a creator I respect their work too much to even enter the thought of distributing their craft like that. Understand they are not cheap but that's the nature of this craft, if $$ is an issue to acquire patterns you can try Etsy for some very well priced starter practice patterns.
Where can I get the templates?
I really love your tutorial you taking it step by step keep it up 💋💋
Great job can u direct me to where u got your pattern please??

Could you use a stiff chipboard instead of toe and heel puffs?
Nice what would you recommend as a sealant after painting/air brushing to prevent the paint fading and front cracking 😢

Hi! What stitch length are you using on the swoosh? Thanks!
Great video, one question. How do you apply the air jordan wings logo on the back? I see different ways, but what is the best?
Thanks you 🙏. The logo is heat transfer vinyl

Is that foam really an inch thick? Just curious. I use 1/2 inch for the high collar but 1 inch seems really thick. Just wanted to validate that
Bro thanks so much for this.
Your welcome bro, thanks for watching
What’s the name of the sewing machine ? Awesome content btw 😊

Hi GOAT are both collar foam and liner foam 1inch thick ?? Which would make that 2inch total at the back??
Sorry and are all close cell foam ?
This is a dope tutorial! Do you cut out all your leathers by hand?
Thank you bro, and yes I do, it's a part of the process I actually take pleasure in doing
@@shoecutterz you do a really good job! I'm about to cut out 2 patterns today.
WOW, your channel is awesome 🥶 What thread and needle size do you recommend for sewing the upper and midsole, bro?
Thanks bro, size 69 for upper and 260 for midsole
how are u applying the stitch guidelines
I free hand draw all the guidelines, if it's a long straight line I use a ruler
I see that you sewn a white liner in the medial and lateral sides, also inside the heel Jordan logo. Why don’t you go over this. This is key
how thick is your leather?
Usually between 1.2-1.4mm
how did you make or get the pieces
With a pattern you can trace
Link to templates please
