The older the shoe the more value. In this case these are bred 1s absolutely necessary. They are worth about 5 pairs or more of what that donor pair is.

Чтобы восстановить кросы надо купить новые, я точно не знаю где таких людей лечат.
Correction by @DashDrones: For the ones that don't know, these are 2001 retro bred/banned Jordan 1s, Chicago Bulls colors referred to as the... you guessed it.... "Jordan The Chicagos", they range from 300-2k depending on condition and release date. These did loose a little value because of the restoration requiring new soles and swoosh. But still, a wonderful job.

I watch a lot of cobblers and shoe repairs on yt, you did an amazing job very professional restoration!!! I thought you were going to glue on the sole like all the other Nike repair guys but nope went the whole 9 and did things the right way! 🙌👏👏👏
Didn’t he glued the shoe and soles? What I’ve watched I really thought it was glue.

That's a phenomenal restauration process and also a great detail to ship them to the owner on the donors box.
I'm learning so much out of these restaurations.
I will do a vintage Nike Legend restauration/sole swap myself in a couple of days more.
I wanted to ask, in case I'm not able to find a Nike Legend sole donors, Can I use an AJ1 soles? Or maybe a pair of Dunks? I was thinking on a AF1 soles since the Legend Uppers are similar to the AF1's. I hope you or anyone can answer this question to me.
Oh man, the Legend sole swap will be tough. I don't believe the Jordan, Dunks or AF1 will work, all of those are pretty different from the 80s Legend soles in form and tread. Closest form fit might be The J's, but obviously the tread pattern will be different. I just can't think of a modern retro'ed shoe that uses that exact herringbone pattern. Good luck with your project, hope you find a good match!

I *agree* with you on buying a new pair for parts to replace what could not be repaired. The rubber sole was so dry and rotted that they surely would've ended up back in your shop so WORK SMART, NOT HARD. You did an EXCELLENT job 😉👟

this is why I was confused. He even bought a new pair to use for the repair. so why not just go with the new pair. unbelievable job, but unless these shoes are extremely valuable.. all that work seems pointless. but hey if its a paying job, its a paying job!

I thought they were the 85s but something seemed so off I’m glad you pointed it out
@@jovanijaimes6340 there would have been some pretty major cracking of the foam around the ankle collar if they had been 85s, also the swoosh on the 85s were a very short haired synthetic suede material. At first i thought they were 85s too until I saw the swoosh, it's crazy to think though that this pair is still 20yrs old.
I was trying to figure out what year these was, the colars are not crunchy enough to be 85s.
i have an old pair that still in decent condition ( they dont have any scratches or dents ) they are the red & black ones, ( they are a remake of the very first pairs that came out ) People have told me that if i fix them i can easily sell them for like $100.00 +
The soles fell of in the past, after that i tried using a glue that i bought on ebay tu put them together but i ended up taking it off because it wasnt stable enough apparently i needed a better more sofisticated one, but then the white part at the bottom of the shoe got stained with the glue and now i dont know how to take out the glue off the white part and the glue is yellow very noticeble, in some corners.
i am afraid of using the brush to much and damaging the material in the white rubber.
the shoes is in great condition for the years ive own it, i have them since i was 18 and now i am 32. is there any special technique or solution i can use to take off the glue without damagaing it? and also what what is the best glue for soles. Thank you in advance.

Is there no way to get a replacement sole from the internet ? Using a brand new pair of track shoe just for its swoosh, sole, lace seems a little extravagant? Having said that better ensure the owner does not do what he did again; so careless to wear the shoe till its dead...

I left a like, but one criticism: the back of the collar (seen at 7:39, precision painting) had some black stitching on the red leather and it was replaced with red stitching. (12:29). Otherwise great restoration.
