Nice man I have a 15 A3 with the 1.8T and I did a 3.5 inch downpipe, afe momentum GT cold air intake and a BullX cat back exhaust system. Sounds great and feels faster!
I would highly recommend buying be exhaust. It is not too loud but still sounds 10x better then the stock exhaust. Video doesn’t do it justice tbh. If your planning on getting any exhaust for your Jetta get the AWE Track edition you will not regret it.
When you’re on the highway it gets quieter when you reach like 4-5th. I don’t think it drones really either. It’s not one of those annoying tones where you can’t stand.
@@greenwood2194 I currently own a mk6 gli for about 5 months now and I agree the 1.8t is a better engine I had a Audi TT 180q prior it just felt better plus I prefer a 5 speed over 6

I already have my mind kind of set on the EWE touring or a track edition, but want to get somebody else’s perspective If I should upgrade the intake or the exhaust first? I appreciate it

Just purchased my car and it was in a hit and run about a week ago, my friends car behind mine was totaled, my whole trunk and rear everything was fucked. Seeing as it was a hit and run and the person has no insurance most likely, I got stuck w/ the 500$ deductible and higher monthly rates... this all happens the day I pay my first insurance bill for this car for 6 months which was about 700$. So yeah I’m going to save up a bit and maybe I will just do both at once, does make sense.
john breen the apr intake is pretty expensive I got the intake only and it was around $400 I think but not positive. The whole intake setup with all the hoses costs a lot more. But I also went and got the apr stage 1 tune and it is a beast of a Jetta now.
Gianny De La Cruz increased air flow and its a cold air intake so it’s setup to only breathe in cold fresh air from the front of the car which makes the car run better
JasonAndersen7 false. It’s only benefit is just the sound. The car is turbocharged so the air will be cooled by the inter cooler anyway. It’s been proven multiple times (including on MCM) that I take modes can even reduce cars power.

I've owned a GLI mk6 and have driven both the 1.8t and 2.0......the 1.8t is better to me
