I have this car and i love it. Not great for the snow but hell of a car for the price. Not to mention the stock stereo system is very high quality, if you’re into music.

I have almost this exact car as well, 2015 Jetta 1.8 TSI with the auto. I Love it, lots of power especially down low, lots of low end grunt.. I agree it feels light in the snow, I have 4 brand new winter tires.. but my Girlfriend's Altima was heavy ... Like a tank in snow.. on same tires

Its such a weird thing, i think this type of the Jetta is usually available outside of germany (which is ironic in the first place)
I found this car on a german car website for such low price and such a good condition. i looked out for its insurance here in germany but couldn't find the 1.8 version.
I must admit, i'm very torn with this decision, its still available but i'm not quite sure...

@1:15 anyone who owns this - would you say it has a louder idle form the engine bay than other cars in this class?
I have a 2016 jetta. the small plastic clacking you hear is actually the fuel injectors doing their thing. its pretty loud in this car. but you can hear the same exact sound on some honda suvs and a few other 4cylinder turbos or just some 4cylinders in general. its not really too loud until you pop the hood. but its not damaging so its not big deal
What is the transmition? Dsg or Tiptronic?? Thanks
6 speed tiptronic, dsg’s are only on the 2.0t Jetta’s
There’s also a 5 speed manual
Just bought this car. Super clean. I wish you could change the interior lights. That be sick. I just want some clean wheels with a nice offset look.
You can change them i Put LEDS in mine
Same. I changed all dome lights to red so they match with the original door and infotainment red lights. Always get compliments about it

@@Franktober1019 I ended up buying a 2015 jetta 1.8t, really enjoying it. has a good engine and has been reliable so far no issues. its perfect for driving in my city has traffic and commutes are heavy.
