    There is so many megalithic sites to keep up with, but they all seem to have stopped and crappy stone work on top of them. Like all megalithic stuff came to an end at the same time.

    • @edward3950
      @edward3950 2 года назад

      They didn't though, unfortunately. It's worth considering that what you are seeing at present times is not a true reflection of how these sites were actually left. We have to consider that buildings get reused over time. Like someone may have moved into these places as a convenient shelter, many natives could have done this in the colonial period or since then, or it could have been a hasty reconstruction during a battle like at Saqsaywaman or maybe just more modern reconstruction which is also quite common

      Save your money, do your research and go with a good friend. Why would you want to continue to put money in this dudes pocket while he takes you around the same typical sites all the tourists in that area can go see on a day trip bus, and there are many of them, even this site, you can stay in Ollantaytambo and take a taxi out to drop you off right by it and hike to it yourself, the only difference is he feeds you garbage theoretical history based on nothing but his own theory and conjecture. If you read some of the Spanish chroniclers like Cieza De Leon or Bernabe Cobo, to name a couple, they give a lot of details about some of these sites and some of the Inca rituals and battles that took place, it's much more interesting to read about real history and draw your own conclusions on Pre-Columbian society based on what you can learn about the colonial period in the resources available rather than listen to this guy be dead set in his theories with literally 0 proof or evidence for any of it.
      I know it's not free but if you are genuinely interested in the history of Peru, I also recommend www.thegreatcourses.com/courses/lost-worlds-of-south-america this will give you much more information for 25$ that Brien will on one of his thousand dollar tours.

      Well for this site we do kinda of know, it was the ancient Andean peoples of that region, I think it's important to note that many of these things could have been achieved by large numbers of workers. If we assume that the populations here were greater than is generally accepted, this all becomes plausible. Furthermore, several chroniclers talk about the large number of workers the Inca could organize. Juan De Betanzos says that there were enough for 1000men to work one stone for some projects, so that makes sense.

Many good technically well done photographically presentations have the wrong locations, or incorrect facts regarding their subject locations along with minor alterations, to which changes everything to the observer has it breeds ignorance. @@AustinKoleCarlisle You must be the expert, I guess if you say so. No point in considering the fact that the region is highly earthquake prone...
      It's worth noting that your own words were "it looks like the rock was cut with a wire and has a sharp edge" that means you are basing your last statement "there is no other explanation besides advanced technology" on what exactly?
      In one comment, you say something looks like something, meaning you don't know definitively yet in the next comment you seem to be certain about the claim you're making.
      See why I'm confused here? You seem to have drawn a conclusion after kind of admitting you don't really have all the information and are basing your personal thoughts on nothing more than visibly seeing the sight.
      And I get it, most of us don't have our pockets lined from people buying our books or paying for our tours like Brien does, so it's not easy for us to just get up and do some research on these sites. But there are clues we can find from some of the Spanish chronicles as well as the archaeological record. To be honest, spending 25$ on this course www.thegreatcourses.com/courses/lost-worlds-of-south-america will give you much more knowledge on the subject than any money you throw at Brien. I'm not trying to argue, I genuinely find the history of the Andes to be amazing and Brien is basically a con artist disguised as an over glorified tour guide.

    hmm very intriguing that Napua is., i would have to say it most definitely is one of the more unique rarer type of architectural types id like to say second to the one and only inside of Giza pyramid. Its almost like the technology is sooooo out of this world, im talking beyond our imagination, to just look at that 'other component' that it self is something out of the likes of onboard a ship of the 'predator' species movies something very very advanced and old! i think its all way older than we can imagine. you got to think about the dating system, but how long was it maintained and operated before it started being abandoned and then dated from there? i believe if they are as sound as they are made which they look to be made to withstand the sands of time vibrational wise, we are looking at things completely wrong. i love this site, i also find Gundam Padang ruins and pyramid to be as old as the rest, perhaps alll operating at the same time at one point in the 'golden age' that is spoken of in the ancient texts.

    So it appears there was a megalithic culture which was ancient to people who are themselves ancient to us today. This megalithic culture had more advanced building techniques than the people that came after them which completely changes what everyone thinks about human history. It also raises the question of what happened to this older civilization. And will it happen again. Will future deerskin wearing nomads uncover an old basement filled with crappy VHS and DVDs from the bargain bin and store their rabbit jerkey in there? Only time will tell.

    I am sorry to disagree with you Brien, but unfortunately I don't believe that the Inca had the capability to build these sites. They didn't have the tools or the ability to move these large stones. I truly believe that all of these places were built by a civilization that was here long before the Inca. The Inca were primitive people and had no iron tools to cut and form large stones.
