The funny thing with Shao Kahn is that his hammer throw and upward shoulder charge can actually infinite you if he hits you with them. The only reason he doesn’t do that is because the code tells him he can’t do it more than twice in a row.
It’s better than that. He’s forced to taunt in between doing this again to prevents infinites. He’s literally forced to mock you to prevent him from instantly beat you.
@@Neogears1312 Actually, maybe this is why they can infinite? They give him a crapton of advantage so he can safely taunt inbetween?
@@Neogears1312what if he knows he can infinite but just taunts instead..........
you forgot to mention one of the worst things about bowser EX:
depending how long you took on the previous fights needed to get to him, you have a variously-limiting number of turns you can have at trying to kill him before the challenge is considered a loss, and to try and have a rematch with him you'll have to fight all the other ex bosses in as short of an amount of turns as possible again.
Oh god, I completely forgot. You had something like 25 total turns to beat upgraded versions of _every boss in the game._ Fuck thaaaaat.
Funnily enough, I beat him in the remake while being 5 levels below the recommended
@@tinydeskeevee4735 The remake is horribly inbalanced and makes the game a fair bit easier
saw the thumbnail and IMMEDIATELY got flashbacks to my first time playing Bowser’s Inside Story. Junker was way too hard for my lil pea brain to handle
How? I one shot him [magic window OP]
I remember try hard hours and I had to defeat him on my cousin's save too as metaboss final fight later those two where hard but fair
Magic window is an optional move, and requires you find a secret so most kids just playing the game normally wouldn't know it existed on first release.@Streetcleanergaming
You can't help but laugh at the donald healing joke, as it proceeds to cut to a clip of donald healing sora.
People mock Donald all the time but really if you're dying and he has MP he will blow his whole bar even if it just came off cool down.
Funny thing in Bowsers Inside Stiry for some reason I ran from every non mandatory boss so I was severely under leveled and managed to beat the trash bot
"Mk has to be the boss in unfair boss fights"
SNK: "Pathetic."
SNK is the extra unfair hidden boss you unlock with a code 😂
MY EXACT THOUGHTS
Those sims segments always get me
Your videos take me right back to the days of early 2010 youtube lists, where charismatic people would talk about different aspects of video games like "top 10 Nintendo scary moments" or "the 10 WORST pokemon!", and I mean that in a good way. It's nostalgic and fun, I hope you keep up these great videos.
Undyne and sans are definitely great candidates for this list, when playing genocide for the first time beating undyne is so difficult that when you get to sans you don’t expect him to be another insanely difficult fight that will require multiple hours to beat.
Your delivery on the segment on Bowser's inside story reminded me of Fawful's minion's videos. Great video
That goddamn trashcan killed my original playthrough of BiS.
That cause joke had me dead, you earned my subscription sir
Being able to digest this content before it gets the millions of exposure I know it one day will is something special
That Vaush joke was to good
Honestly? Paper Mario has some great picks.
Any final battle in the pit of 100 trials is no joke.
Bonetail is a fantastic fight, 64's true dojo master is a perfect end game threat to test your prep work for the finale, and Amazee Daisies in 64 and TTYD are remarkably threatening since they can sleep you for 2 or 3 turns and deal 10 DAMAGE A HIT.
That doesn't sound like much but that's Mario starting HP and uh . . . You're encouraged NOT to level HP because of badges like power rush boosting attack by 2 for being at/below 5 health and mega rush kicks in at 1 health for a massive 5 damage boost.
These stack and considering you're end game standard jump damage is 2 hits for 4 damage each, and power bounce lets you hit for everytime you properly hit the action command and only lose 1 damage with each jump . . .
Mario can crank massive damage and with all the badges that can buff defense Danger and Peril! Mario strats are surprisingly safe if you know how to properly prep for a boss by either packing the right items or pre-damaging Mario.
Shoot I didn't even mention the power plus badges which can add 1 damage to your base attack.
Or charge which let's you add 2 damage to your next attack. Notice I said next attack because you can stack these. And easily dish out dozens after a handful of charge turns.
Amazy Dayzees do a whopping 20 DAMAGE, actually. Twice as much as Mario's starting HP.
Me personally, I like Peril Yoshi more than Danger/Peril Mario. With Quick Change, you can enter a fight with a healthy partner and switch in Yoshi at the beginning of each turn to slaughter enemies. Especially useful against the Amazy Dayzees since you don't have to worry about messing up a Power Bounce input and getting murdered as a result.
@@Lar_me wait for real? I guess I was thinking of 64 dayzees. Still those things are LETHAL.
It’s funny to see people get skill issued by a trash can.
Love being early to a good ol C-Shift special
11:43
"The king of unfair fighting game boss fights has to be the Mortal Kombat series"
my man has NOT heard of SNK boss syndrome
C-Shiff back at it! Great video!
I love your content, and I am cursing RUclips for not notifying me of this upload as soon as it happened
I love how you embraced that whole Dagobah thing, lol
I’ve binged watched all your vids! love them!
I clicked the thumbnail specifically becuase of Junker. That fight took me so long to beat when I was younger.
in the 3DS version of BiS you CAN make Luigi run from being sucked up and thrown in the trash making Junker less of a chore
Love how Vadeer did the over-the-shoulder Anikin block.
I would like to give an honorable mention to most of the endgame bosses from Everhood. You think it's over and then you fight yet another boss that makes you consider lowering the difficulty rating.
I honestly had more trouble with blizzard midbus than I ever had with junker, since the game leaves bowser grossly underleveled after freeing him from the safe, so I had to fight midbus at 10 levels lower than what’s recommended
I never made it to Bowser EX but i remember STRUGGLING against Junker as a kid because i didnt have the Star Special on my first playthrough. As annoying as it was, looking back now im always going to remember enjoying the fact that i got my ass kicked so many times because of the difficultly. They dont make video games as difficult now a days sadly.
The junker frustrated ne HARD as a child until I discovered the star attack
Personally I find the mini boss before Zeus to be the toughest, the one with the fiery Cerberus and the jumping Goatmen
ventus is the hoverboard, lingering will turns it into a car
i discovered KH2 in proud mode, Xaldin still haunt my nightmares to this day
No mention of Black Heart in Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;birth 1 is upsetting. She's a massive difficulty spike out of nowhere early in the game, and even with grinding she can be tedious to take down.
oh, "robotic watering can" reminded me of a silly gag in an old Flash game where you fight a giant toaster!
the hero even SAYS, "oh, come on! you only put that in there because i SAID it!"
God of War on PS4 wasn't a reboot, it was God of War 4. It takes place AFTER 3, since during some cutscenes where Kratos doesn't have his robes on, you can see a large scar where Zeus drove the Blade of Olympus through his abdomen.
It also directly references the events of the Greek God trilogy several times
I wish i could add something to inside story since i loved the game but i can't even remember the trashcan. It was insignificant in comparison of trying to get the mounty mole train with a broken ds microphone and having to do the damn minigame everytime. Also i remember a seething rage against the caterpillar you encouter after bowser eats to much that later turned out to have story relevance.
I'd love to see a video on long levels in gaming
Love the content. Can’t support enough.
This guy fills in the watchmojo void
i was having a lot of trouble with Monsoon in MGRR and i thought he was the hardest and then fucking Armstrong over here absolutely pummels my ass 10x quicker than Monsoon ever could
And then...
DLC Armstrong.
Vaush jumpscare
If you'd opened the Mario & Luigi section on Junker X I'd get it, but regular Junker? I usually annihilate that guy with falling stars on the first turn cycle. Dude doesn't even get a chance to attack.
But yeah Bowser X is ridiculous. And there's analogous bosses in Dream Team and Paper Jam.
14:30 perfectly cut; i never could have guessed the twist lol
Randy is a good name for the pervert boss. However Boykin was so close to Boinkin' that I was left a little disappoint
I was expecting to see Culex from Super Mario RPG who is massively more powerful than the final boss of the game. Especially in the recent remake. But you highlighted a different Mario RPG series which I feel is close enough.
Pit's Body in Kid Icarus Uprising. :/
And the second last boss in Uprising is more of a threat than the Final boss.
hell yeah new c shift video
22:55 C-Sim got hit by the sirens call (Jingling car keys)
if you do hardest bosses can you put amalgalich from lycanites on it because hes impossible to kill almost
isshin from sekiro. Yes he is probably the best designed boss in any game ever (and one of the hardest) but the difficulty pales in comparison to demon of hatred
Great video, but you shouldve added undyne/sans geno route fights in undertale, i didnt beat undyne for months
poor c sim had a stressful day
I never found Junker all too hard
That damn train however…
Bro this trash can made me quit the game for a couple of weeks as a kid 😂 after I returned to the game I beat it on the first try
I'm dumbfounded that a ninja gaiden 3 boss isn't on this list like do you know how much I struggle on the first real boss then you got nightmare Hayabusa that uses your exact moves and cooks you with them
Bowser EX is fair but I don't remember Junker being all that hard.. guess I was just too good at the game
The true hardest boss in the kingdom hearts series is the boss ORBULUS RAMOND, the secret boss that uses the POWER OF FUSHIGIIIIII to dominate and destroy you, you only can fight him once per save aswell. Lets hope the fix the many orb based attacks and gun barages in his supposed apperence in kh5
Obligitory The Puppet from five nights at fuckboys lol throughout all 3 games there are much tougher secret fights and of course the Second Puppet (in the Complete Collection the puppets were HEAVILY nerfed (I can't find their exact nerfed stats but it's much less unfair) but they still aren't easy (the first puppet is also a mandatory fight as you can no long wind the music box to keep him at bay) but the First Puppet is still tough as nails most fans say you need A) max level B) a TON of healing items and C) a lot of debuff movies and to spam combos as soon as they are available
What makes the puppet so difficult well this 2 things his stats and skills:
Stats
80,000 MHP (Max HP)
9,999 MMP (Max MP)
600 ATK
200 DEF
300 MAT (Magic ATK)
300 MDF (Magic DEF)
300 AGI
300 LUK
Skills
Lead Stinger - Attacks the foe with a shrill screech. Has a chance to poison.
Toreador March - Does minor damage repeatedly. Has a chance of putting enemies to sleep.
Rushdown - Rushes into the enemy repeatedly.
EVIL Pizza Pass - Heals for 1000 HP.
Dual Attack - Damages the enemy twice.
Triple Attack - Damages the enemy three times.
Poison Lens
Smoke Lens
Confusion Lens
And 2 you have a 5 minute timer when he appears after you beat your SECOND BOSS FIGHT. Not enough time to actually prepare (but in the originals you can wind his msuci box to reset it) if you aren't already close (and if you get caught in a long fight it's basically game over)
Darth Vadir my beloved ❤
The first Paper Mario is way harder than any other Mario RPG tbh
I feel that Thousand-Year Door is a lot harder, personally. It could be easier if you've mastered the Superguard timing so that nothing can ever hurt you, though.
The impromptu boss fights with the escalators have no reason to be as difficult as they are.
Lets not forget day time EOL
Damn you’re hilarious bro
Bloodstained Curse of the Moon 1 and 2 spoilers ahead.
For me, this is Gremory in Bloodstained Curse of The Moon 2. She's WAY harder than in the first game, which is ironic because she was the final boss formerly.
She seems exactly like her old self, but unlike her first phase in the first game (the one her sequel fight is based on almost 1 to 1), she has a few small changes that make all the difference in the world. First, and arguably worst of all, is her new orange orb attack. It swoops in from off screen and then barrages you with a homing swarm of orbs, unlike the others which spawn where she is. Depending on your angle from her, your sub weapon type, and especially her swarm attack pattern, there's a decent chance that this attack is literally *impossible to avoid* (or puts you in a situation where her other attacks are impossible to avoid.)
That wouldn't be so bad, except her stats were MEGA buffed. If her first incarnation's first phase was in the second game, it would probably be bottom 3 in terms of HP and attack, but here she's EASILY the toughest boss without multiple phases, and her attack power rivals or even outclasses certain attacks from the final bosses (even your strongest characters die in ~4 hits to her, which is a problem because OFC she's sometimes unavoidable.) Comparing her durabilities, before you could literally kill her first form in about a minute without using sub weapons (or about 10-15 seconds with Axe + Ice), but now, with the exception of 1 or 2 sub weapons, you could dump all your WP into wailing on her with most characters' strongest attacks and not even get her half way down (especially on her harder version). On top of that, it's not the biggest thing but iirc her swarm attack used to be beaten by Flame Wheel (a subweapon), so not only is she not a defensive freebie anymore, but her offense is also still a huge consideration even in ideal circumstances (although Flame Wheel still beats the orbs). On top of all THAT, her fight is a looong way from the last checkpoint and is filled with arguably the hardest normal enemies in the game, so dying to her hurts way more than any other boss AND you enter her fight weaker than you would any other boss. It's _so much worse_ in boss rush mode, since she's the first truly challenging boss, but she's one of the last 3 real fights (since one of the 3 true final bosses will probably be freebies thanks to Alfred's lightning spell), so dying to her means you have to fight SIX other bosses again.
Attack RNG + ridiculous stats + the hardest pre-fight area in the game + farthest checkpoint in the game + buffed attacks = a very frustrating boss.
I feel like the second final boss (of 3) is harder than Gremory is on average since it also has esoteric attacks and even stronger stats, but the difference between it and Gremory is that theoretically, a godlike player could get down it's attack patterns and just autopilot the fight, but Gremory's RNG mandates that she HAS to be given full attention since she changes attacks and movement every time she's fought.
C shift SIM Vs the deer
kind of upset hollowknight wasn't on this list.
Derth Vedear alone won my like, holy shit!
Babe wake up, new C-Shift video
Why GoW's the only one marked with the boss name instead the game name?
Sullivan wasn't in Dead Rising 2: Off the Record, what would you say is the hardest boss in that game?
The Mario & Luigi series is one of the best video game series of all time in my opinion. So underrated! And classic God of War will always be better to me than the walking and talking simulator the series has become.
You say xaldin? I disagree. With xaldin, you can use mickey sometimes. But Roxas on the other hand was a right BASTARD.
10:22 He does, Alo actually it's just like He's focused down and dies quite quickly because of it, He's the healer so ofcourse he's the most impotant target and so ofcourse the playerbase is gonna be mad at him missing instead of Goofy, as he's just mentioned instead of hated because he isn't as important.(which is a pretty decent flaw as well he's supposed to be the tank, the one that can take and deal alot of damage though like Donald he can have alot of pressure as a result of that.
It's so ironic DOnald does his job so well People get mad at him for well having a hard time doing it.
Lucid video on the most unappreciated class explains this: ruclips.net/video/nq7sQdfVpGk/видео.htmlsi=D1cKkyzqhdML1GTY
7:37 No I totally thought it was Mr. Beasts castle.
jk
Babe wake up new C-Shift dropped
haha, fibola 1:32
2:13 with understanding the actual psychopaths, thats a terrible name for them, As most aren't actually psychopaths they're either crazy inviduals, mentally distraught or sciopaths.
I haven't really seen a Dead rising boss who enitrely focuses on it's objective with little care for emoitional thinking, pain or anyone else.
Basically alot of the "Psychopaths" are sadistic which isn't an inhert trait for that, as typically pain means nothing to something that more motivitated for personal success, than the downfall of others.
"Ogata is a perfect Psychopath." By Living Deadman is a great video on the topic: ruclips.net/video/6gx1pqtKE_w/видео.htmlsi=Ult9T5Kmd0QgnKd1
The alternative is that they go with the dead rising 4 approach of making the name more fitting but having the actual bosses be terrible
Radiance was difficult but not the hardest in hollow knight
The hardest is nightmare king grimm
The last dream zote fight is also really hard and harder that the radiance
Also RADIANT FUCKING MARKOTH if you dont know what it that is go play it and fight radiant markoth
That thing from 2018 ain't God of War.
Wait, Junker was hard?
What a weird premise for a video.
Good video though.
for the idiotic npcs video you should add ashley from resident evil 4 because most of the times i lost were because she would run into an enemy and get one shoted.
MK9 Shao Kahn is playing a game of Rock Paper Scissors, except he has Hammer and Hammer beats all three.
Unfortunately for him, Gun beats Hammer. Get Stryker in there and just keep shooting, you'll keep him stuck across the screen with little he can meaningfully do to retaliate. Good luck at the end of the story when you're forced to use Raiden, though!
Also Kratos is at least very close to the absolute bottom of the pile for fictional characters to me. Dude sucks.
Bro did vaush dirty 💀
Nah. He didn't go hard ENOUGH on him. Though, showing anymore would get the video age restricted.
bob
I've never understood the mentality of devs putting battles or missions in games that are so frustrating or outright unfair all they do is make sure you never want to play the game again.
nah im sorry to say, but Junker is quite literally one of the easiest bosses in that whole game you quite literally have the badges to deal 3x damage and shooting star, the power scaling of the end game makes it ridiculously easy

This reminded me to like the video, thanks
