Mafia 3 has a soft lock where I was trying to get enough money to complete a district, by destroying the mob's bussinesses, and I died without collecting enough money during a certain type of bussiness destroying activity. And then I couldn't progress any further in the game because I didn't get all the money needed and couldn't get the money needed.

I remember one time my brother and I were playing Lego Batman and during the Manbat boss fight, Manbat flew up off screen and never came back down. He still had a healthbar so we spent about 20-30 minutes walking around the arena assuming there was a puzzle we had to solve to move on to the next phase of the fight. iirc, we even got some mooks to spawn after a few minutes, so we thought we were on to something. But eventually we figured it had to be a glitch, so we reset and did the level again. The boss fight played out as normal. To this day we have no idea what we did to trigger that glitch.

About the cannon glitch in the Wii version of Twilight Princess, the glitch only occurs in certain copies of the game specifically the early launch releases in the game. Nintendo knew about this glitch and fixed this glitch in later revisions of the game, and at one time (like they did with Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire where these games suffered from the Berry Glitch) allowed people to exchange their copy of Twilight Princess that doesn't have this glitch. There's also another glitch (at least in the original game's early copies) where you could be blocked from progressing if you saved after the Eldin bridge was destroyed but before entering the Twilight where on a copy affected by the glitch, reloading the game would put Link on the wrong side of the bridge which now has been destroyed preventing the player from progressing. I believe another fix in LEGO games (at least Complete Saga or LEGO Indiana Jones) is that you can Save and Quit in Free Play which will save the Studs you collected, Minikits (or Hogwarts Crests in Harry Potter), and the Student (Harry Potter)/Citizen in Peril (Batman 2) if rescued and the True Jedi/Adventurer/Super Hero/Wizard/Pirate if you have enough studs. There's also a glitch on Pirates of the Caribbean in the level The Maelstrom (5th level of At World's End) where Davey Jones could be stuck on a rope rendering you unable to attack him and finish the level. Not a big deal if it happens on Free Play but on Story, it will require you to reply the level. I had encountered this glitch in my Xbox 360 version of the game. Another example of unintentionally unbeatable happens in The Sims 2 Console (PS2, Xbox, and GameCube) where in the Alien Crash Site, you must meet XY-XY or XHT-F to complete the Meet an Alien Gold Want. Due to the way visitors work in The Sims 2 Console, it's possible for either XY-XY or XHT-F to show up at Tranquility Falls and if you meet both of these Sims before you head to the Alien Crash Site, you'll be unable to complete the Want (and progress the game) because you already know them.

I played Kingdom Hearts for the first time this year and I gotta say I think Deep Jungle is harder than Wonderland, but Wonderland isn't a great start. Also, no idea how you struggled with Trickmaster. Maybe I was smart enough to gear out my party well, but I was disappointed that he went down so easy.

I'm gonna shout-out the "Goth" series of armor sets in SMT 4 Apocalypse. Gothic lolita outfits on a male protag in an SMT title, boadting some amazing stat boosts and superb elemental resistances. Never has demon hunting look so chiche.

When I'm playing a game I pick clothing choices solely based on how aesthetically pleasing they are even with no consideration for stats (re: the archaic set in Tears of the Kingdom).

Wait so the suit of armor is LESS effective in the remake? From what I recall of the OG Resident Evil 4 she could even tank a rocket in that thing, with no problem. As for her face, it would automatically drop down the visor anytime you tried aiming at her. it was straight-up impossible to harm her with the knight suit on. At least enemies still cannot pick her up. You didn't have to worry about her at all in the OG version. The only downsides I'd say other than appearance was the clanking as she ran around. Or having to catch her when she jumped down from a ladder, and poor Leon nearly throwing his back out from catching her LOL.

Flan from 4th survivor in re2 (it's the only way 4th survivor isnt a pain in the ass yes im still salty instead of a whole new campaign with my boy Hunk we get a bs 10 minute mad dash with a set loadout) essentially it gives you a bunch of explosives which makes the rooms with a bunch of zombies easy Also i hate how they changed the options in L.A Noir it made sense in the original if you think they're telling the truth tou pick truth if tou think they are lying you press lie if you aren't sure press doubt now its just good cop bad cop and accuse way too vague

Somehow even the commercials for this got mucked up... I swear to god that the MK1 commercial would refuse to buffer and play back properly EVERY SINGLE TIME during Max app commercial breaks. No other commercials ever had problems. Utterly baffling.

No joke, I was watching this video while playing No Man's Sky's latest expedition and I got softlocked (couldn't complete the objectives because I did them in an unexpected order). I refuse to believe this is a coincidence - you jinxed me, sir.

So, in Lego Star Wars 2: the Original Trilogy, I can't access most of the game, and haven't since I was a little kid. In (iirc) one of the later levels of episode 1, there's a spot where you're supposed to build a turret and shoot a blocked door before you can use it. I have no idea how this happened, but in my copy of the game, this door simply reflects the shots instead of being destroyed like it's supposed to. I've checked walkthroughs and watched playthroughs, and I'm definitely not doing anything wrong. Restarting the level, and even deleting the save file and completely starting over doesn't fix it. I've tried multiple times. Apparently, my copy of the game is just bricked, and I have no idea how.

If you'd opened the Mario & Luigi section on Junker X I'd get it, but regular Junker? I usually annihilate that guy with falling stars on the first turn cycle. Dude doesn't even get a chance to attack. But yeah Bowser X is ridiculous. And there's analogous bosses in Dream Team and Paper Jam.
