Well worth it mate, all I changed was the swing arm, wheels , rear 56 sprocket & chain to suit an rb. I hunted around the bike wreckers till I found 150rb used parts. They say to beef up the suspension but that just depends on your weight, my sons light so I didn’t need to.
@@fixitdan5248 my buddy said he got rb wheels and they fit on his 150r without having to change the rear swing arm. did you try that by any chance? i wanna know if that will work so i can do it to mine
I went the 150rb (big wheel) swing arm but some are saying the original swing arm just fits the big wheel but better in my opinion to get an original big wheel one👍
Hi, I don’t believe they will fit without some major modifications, better to have the original cut & extended . I have read of people putting 18/21 wheels on them but in my opinion better to get a 250
Was around $1050 with secondhand swingarm , wheels & new chain. Got my money back when I sold it, my son just went to a 250 so I put the bike back to a small wheel & sold it then sold big wheel kit for $1100. Happy Days 👍
dude the “longer” swing arm is only 3/4 of an inch longer. me personally and many others on the internet have swapped their small wheel 150R with big wheels without even changing the swing arm at all. because in reality 3/4 isn’t making that big of a difference. you can theoretically get that difference out of the chain adjustment.
Would of been a great idea to grease and inspect the suspension linkage, they look rough and in need of some TLC
looking to convert mine for next racing season could you give me a list of everything you put on it

@@evanduck6542 I didn’t try unfortunately, they probably just fit adjusted right back but you’ll have no chain tightening capabilities.
Hello !! I would like to change the crf 250 wheels with the small 150 ones...it's too tall for me. Does it fit?
Get a set of supermoto small rims or can lower suspension with lowering link
On partzilla all these parts are $938 shipped brand new OEM for my 2024 crf125 check them out they got it all!
did you need to change out the rear shock?
No mate, just screwed the spring nut a bit tighter to suit weight of rider.
I’m gonna do this for my bike. What size swing arm should I get

Hello friend, you do not know if the crf 150R enters an oscillating arm of the crf 250

where did you find that swing arm ?
From a bike wreckers, took a while to find one
I have a crf80 would it be the same??
I’m not sure about the 80, someone in the comments might be able to help with some info.
If the CRF80 is like the XR80, XR100/CRF100 stuff should bolt on to the CRF80.
How much money in total did this cost

I want to turn my Rb into a R can you sell me your old parts ?
I put it back to an R & sold it already, kids are on 250’s now
I might be interested in rb parts if you are selling.
@@andrewbray2266 Sold it all mate, my boys are on 250’s now
Meant the other guy. Don't know how to tag him.
@@fixitdan5248 that’s lit im 5’6 and 117 pound I don’t want to ride a 250 until I’m a master at wheelies
No volume.
Plz tell
Where I got them guy mean?
should have had a bigger swing arm
It is longer, that’s a genuine rb (big wheel) swing arm, there’s not much difference maybe an inch or less.
@@fixitdan5248do you think you’d be able to move the axle back so the small wheel swingarm fits? Heard that might work so will try that out for mine
@@chloemx7534 Maybe, would be tight, best to borrow a big wheel & try it on
