One reason that she didn't 'make it' in the USA is that the music people there did not want to present her as a white singer ie. would not allow her photo on the sleeve of the LP. and wanted to pitch her to the black community. That is reverse racism. She refused that idea. She has a great voice. The song, 'It's a Man's World,' LIVE, is an excellent display of her wonderful talent.

I could see immediately that you are super highly intelligent and as such, you have strong and perceptive opinions. You’re also very straight forward and perhaps not inclined to sophistry. This is always not going to sit well with everyone and that’s ok. You don’t need to appease people who can’t be wise enough to not have to agree on everything. We got beef cattle all around us as well - I'm so happy for this comment and all the great complements - I'll keep being myself for sure, it's why I started. I love music, but I wanted to try and make real connection with people all over the world. Kind of like this moment right now - it's all I wanted and is working out very well. She was a session singer in the US for a long time. I was about 10 when I first heard this on the radio 1420 3XY. Those were the days!
