Hi I have a quick question. I want to make some essay plans for an inspector calls so that i can get some paragraph structures in my head on themes and characters. The issue is I have no idea what questions/ how many questions to plan for! Are there certain question types/phrasings that often come up or should i look through past papers? Any help would be much appreciated! :)

Does anyone have an idea for what the form of War Photographer is? Or does it not have one to reflect the impossibility of presenting the true horrors of war?

I don;t think it has a specific form of poetry (e.g. sonnet or ballad) but Duffy does use a consistent rhyme scheme - ABBCDD - and stanza length which gives the poem a very ordered feel. When paired with the frequent enjambment and caesura though there is strong contrast between chaos and order, and this can be extended to the content of the poem because the war photographer's job is t bring order to chaos, imposing structure onto the mess of the conflicts he has seen. This is sort of a mix of structure and rhyme (some teachers count rhyme as form) so I don't know if it's any good to you, but I'm pretty sure that you won't be penalised for not writing about form if there is no set form of the poem! Just make sure you've got plenty of structure/rhyme instead:) Hope this helped!
