  • Today we will show you how OBD-II data from a car can be displayed on the HUD instead of using the phone screen:
    Step 1.
Get an OBD-II Bluetooth scanner that supports ELM327 and connect it to your car.
You can find them on Amazon. For example, this one will do:
    www.amazon.com...
    Step 2.
Launch HUDWAY Drive app and enable automatic connection to OBD-II
    Step 3.
Set up which widgets will be displayed on the HUD.
When you connect the OBD-II scanner, extra widgets will appear: RPM, instant and average fuel consumption, oil temperature, coolant temperature, battery voltage, and fuel level.
By default, HUDWAY Drive app uses your phone sensors to define the speed. When the OBD-II scanner is connected, the app takes the speed data from your car.
The next time, OBD-II will connect automatically every time you start your car.
