This afternoon I had to conduct display screen equipment meeting with another employee on their responces to the online line training and assessment with an expeeienced they way they formed their questions was incredible. I used to work with a manager who attend meetings late, talk about himself a lot rather than follow the agenda , quiet often the meeting finish late I noticed one of mycolleagues would be swiping his mobile phone I am certain he had lost the members of the team atttention by his communication style.
I can see that if a manager talks about him/herself all the time, is late to meetings and finishes late, the only way you can interpret this is they don't respect or care about their team. When you feel your manager doesn't care about you, as a team member, you will start to tune out.
Yes you are saying right when you start to speak in a meeting then some of them as per habits try to interrupt you so you must have ability not to let them come over upon yourself and take a time to organise your thoughts then speak but if you speak for a long time without taking any intersting talk in between your speech then other gets bore so your talk must be moderate and useful and interesting as well and second thing deliver them in a very simple way so that they do not have any difficulty to get you ..
Absolutely! Try not to let others interrupt you. Organise your thoughts before speaking. Share important message, not ramble. Use simple words and sentences.
Really nice video to which I like to make one comment. It is always important to know the audience to speak to. Why? It is the right tailored content to resonate the most with the listener. An honest „I think“ (expressed with some emphasis) resonates sometimes stronger than an often useless filler expression such as „as far as I am concerned, we do this and then we go from there.“ I am hearing this all the time (more than I think it is normal or usual) and the more I hear it, the more I realise it is nothing but posturing without making real progress on the matter. Cheers 😊
For your question about tailoring your message to the audience, yes it's important. In order for your message to resonate with the audience, you have to know what's important to them. You also have to know the type of communication they respond to. It doesn't have to be massive changes you make, but thinking about, "how can I best explain this so my audience will understand" is a good starting point.
2:00 "Hell yea" from a professional is absolutely not what I want to hear as a client or boss. "Like, and totally" are also not what I want to hear. Know your audience people. If you are dealing with high level clients in a high level position you need to respect the place they are in. It took them years to get there, and figure it out. You just arrived and are now tearing down that respect with your "disrespect" for the position you hold within your firm and it makes you, your boss and your agency look cheap. I could not agree more with your statement.
Hi, what about in general day to day conversations can you share me some tips on how to be more articulate. Ive read articles on my phone do you think the best start would be to read read and read books. I struggle to find basic words and mumble alot especially when im with groups of friends. I think its an underlining anxiety i have but it making me want to avoid situations alot now because i come across like i cant form coherent sentences. In my head i can i just cant express it Thanks
@@baconsarneybroonsauce6913 hi! Reading out loud could help you to avoid mumbling. It will give your mouth practice enunciating works properly. But make sure you take time to read properly . Anxiety could cause you to mumble, so trying to overcome that social anxiety is important too. Having more conversations with people can help with that.

Thank you, Kara, for reactivating my old leadership and communication knowledge. I am just starting looking for a new position and trying to find my old skills, so to say. I used to be a leader but switched for a project management position 2.5years ago. Now I want back. I felt like I lost my skills but watching your videos helps me to realize it is all still there. Do you have a video on mindset change in an existing environment? Thank you for your fantastic work!
13:30 Moyra from Shitts Creek is a prime example of eloquent. Skip to the later seasons as they made that specific change to her character, but she comes up with some sensational words and phrases not typically heard.
As I mentioned in this video, expanding your vocabulary is one step to becoming more articulate. This video will tell you how 😊 ruclips.net/video/Ll_TGWpyfIw/видео.htmlsi=qKhIOTPsLvPDoxkB ruclips.net/video/Ll_TGWpyfIw/видео.htmlsi=qKhIOTPsLvPDoxkB

I really enjoyed that show but probably missed the later seasons. I'll have to watch it again to see what you're referring to.
