Great playing man. What I really want to know from these review is how it feels to you. Sound examples are important but the feel of the instrument is king.
I was finally able to purchase RG8870 last week. I'm very happy. JCRG is attractive deep bass and long sustain. RG8870 has a chimy and delicate atmosphere that is the best. Asymmetrical necks take some getting used to. But I liked the RG8870 more than JCRG❣️.
I recommend 8870 because of its unique design. Due to the time-consuming design, I believe it will no longer be produced. The sound quality when tapped is more beautiful than other J-customs. I'm sorry, my English is not good🙇♀️
That seems like one awesome guitar. Thanks for the demonstration.
Your welcome
I just got one, the fretboard is flat that provides a great feel for playing!

I’m on the fence to get a 8870 my other choice would be a older Ibanez Jem if you played them both can you shed some light

Is it comfortable than Pia? How does it feel when you compare
How does that asymmetrical neck feel?!
I don’t know how to describe the feel, other than very comfortable! Best, Remy
Nice slab of wood. Should have dot inlays instead of the tree of life though.
How much different is the RG8570?
No chambered body, no coil tap, different neck pickup, bridge pickup cover, and hardware finish.
what is the difference from the chambered body bro??
less weight
Can I know the exact weight of the instrument?
Little hard to determine I guess…. Since it’s wood the same make and model may or will be different in weight. Best, Remy
Hi bro, what's your pick?
Hi Emi , I use a Custom print Dunlop the wedge ,50mm pick! They work for me in all styles etc. Thanks dor watching . Best, Remy
