I recently traded my 2023 MT-10 in for a 2024 SF V2... Loving it. I considered the V4, but this is like $6k cheaper and 208hp on a naked bike is idiotic for the street. No fairing or wind protection, means so much of that power is wasted because you will never want or be able to go that fast, even on track. The V2 is lighter, more agile, and it may be quicker on twisty roads because you aren't fighting it and trying to keep it from killing you... Only on long straights would the V4 have the advantage...

I have ridden a V2 Streetfighter. Lovely bike.
Stunning looks, more than ample road performance, the usual benefits of IMU rider aids, turns & drops in very nicely. Superb lIne adjustability mid corner...precise communicative handlng & nice ego's (5'10" male 30" leg) . Very good brakes - albeit not sure if they are the last word in terms of progression.
Unfortunately I did not always like the fuelling at "very low" urban speeds (creeping speeds & junction turns etc ) , even when I changed modes & settings I found myself needing extra focus on clutch feathering to avoid jerkiness issues.
Mirrors not great for view & clarity when moving but have ridden worse....Did not ride on a hot day but was aware of warmth from engine.
Great bike apart from issues I felt I noticed but mindful others views may vary to mine
    Thanks for review 👍🏍

In my opinion... No one makes a bike like Ducati , The styling and MAN!!!, that sound , I wouldn't care if the bike only had 40BHP as long as Ducati keep producing that sweet sounding engine, My only gripe with Ducati is the servicing cost. That is one awesome bike Kate 🙂

I got to take one for a short test ride a few weeks ago, and I was shocked to find that I hated it! Anything below like 6k rpms, and the bike was super vibey. Low down pulls made the whole thing shake like it was trying to shake itself apart until you hit 7k. I'm wondering if the one I rode was having engine issues 🤔 All the reviewers seem to love the V2

Great video💫. I wish you would have added comments in terms of how this bike behaves in low traffic or in town under 20-30 miles/hour. Is it in town smooth as the Street Triple RS or the new KTM Super Duke 1290? Or it is un-rideable like some old Ducati in low traffic - like the old Streetfighter 1098? If it was your dollars, will you buy it or will you rather buy a Tuono v4 or a Yamaha MT10? Keep up the good work - great video 💥

Who is going to spend £16k on something like this? You might say a track-day fan, but wouldn't they want to be in a crouch behind some kind of fairing? You can't carry a passenger comfortably, touring would be bloody hard work and it seems way over the top for commuting. Looks like a handsome ornament to me. A V2 Multistrada is a bit cheaper and would do so much more. An R1250R would be 20bhp down on power but the torque would be greater (and lower down in the revs) and a far better road bike over longer distances.

@@wl660 OK, but bear in mind it's a naked, so high speed is just going to be wind blast. Winter weather will be ferocious and in your face. You're travelling alone because few women are going to sit on that pillion perch. Can you justify 16k for a few hours of hooligan-style riding? Why not get a multistrada V2 or V4?

@@trailingarm63 You need to realise the variety of riders out there. This bike is designed for a specific market - it’s clearly not for you. Get over it.

@@trailingarm63 Because the Streetfighter is lighter, more responsive ,handles better, more sporty etc. Not everyone takes pillions and goes touring. My Tuono is for blasting around the fantastic roads we have here in France. A Multi just doesn't hold a candle to it through the corners. My wife rides so I don't need to take pillions. Everyone is different.

@@fyorbane Fair enough. It does look like a Tuono, my mate had one in the early 2000's. I had a Falco. Around London the Tuono was fine but we used to follow BSB around the UK and it was hard work for him on long rides. I used to lie on the Falco's tank and it was fine. Ever since then I've been a bit dismissive of super- nakeds. But if you're happy, you're happy.

What a stupid name for a bike street fighter - maximum speed 20 or 30 mph.

I kinda get terms like "cruiser" and "naked sportbike" is fully descriptive and "supersport" given the race class designation and even "Cafe" and "retro" suggest something definative if somewhat WIDE in what they may include....but the dumberst sounding term that I EVER heard yet is "street fighter" WTH?? Seriously??? LOL I mean it caught on a bit but IMHO?? "street fighter" sheesh!!?? I mean WHO came up with that originally? Some magazine writer? What the HECK is it even trying to suggest?? Drag racing on the streets? Personally I think it is so lame sounding so unhelpful....but who am I to say....the ONLY reason I would use the term if it actually part of the model name and then only as ID ....otherwise? I REFUSE to support using the term! REBEL against such!!

You need to try the Tuono V4. It has a load more shove at the bottom and midrange than the Duc which makes it better for the road.
