Frank… looks like you bought another project! Fortunately, Roxy seems to be up for it. That box blade makes my 4’ feel insignificant… but, my baby tractor gave a sigh of relief!!!
I’m getting to watch your and Jeff’s videos just to hear you all rag one another. Best jobs I ever had is where we could tease one another. Difference between working men and those suits in offices.
Nice video, Sir. and a little work and you will have a good box blade !!! your friend from Michigan, its been in the 50 and raining for the last few days !!!!
Had a friend that made 18 and 20 foot wide killifers in the 70's and 80's. They were sold to rice farmers and pulled by 200 horsepower 4 wheel drives to mud level new rice fields. They would use a levee squeeze to pull up perimeter levees around the fields and the tractors would upon cranking the wells up would make a mud slurry and the slurry would be basically self leveling. It was the cheapest way to level a piece of ground. Was hard on the tractors but you could move several more yards in a days time than by hauling dry.
I have a 12 ft just like that. I installed a 2 5/16 16,000 lb trailer Ball hitch on mine and also the pipe between the tires I put a 2 inch pipe bung in and fill the pipe with old hydraulic oil for weight. That also offset the tongue weight so when I got to hook up I connect my hydraulic hoses first and lift back tires allowing me to connect to tractor draw bar easy. I pull mine with a 110 hp 4x4 new Holland.
Nice blade Frank, we always called them speed movers for some reason. The one I have now is 8'. Have the same tie rod cylinder on mine, works well for not a everyday user.
I have a Westindorf blade like that, seems to be lacking good welds. Both spindles have broken off at the welds, welds on cylinders have leaked and pulled the tongue off of it. I pull it with a old 4430 John Deere,I don't think it is too big of tractor, dealer said it should work fine with no problem.Easy to run and will do a nice looking job.
Nice rig looks like you got a good deal. I’m thinking it would be everything an M would want to pull that thing, I’d like to see that. Dogs in videos always get more views, that Roxy is a sweetheart.
Frank 💯 awesome 5 ⭐ video I've never seen anything like that unless it is a very big Box blade it might be worth fixing, anywhoo God bless yah from Gaffney South Carolina viewer 🙏❤️
Could you cut the top of that angle iron in 8 or 10 places with the torch then with a comealong from the blade to the front of the hitch pull it forward? Might be easier than replacing the entire angle iron. you could always plate the angle after its straight. Keep smilin Frank.
Looks like there may be a "heatin and beatin" video coming soon to fix the cutting edge on this scraper. Roxie may be a big help when you decide to do it too.
What does Roxy say how to fix it. I saw her drag racing your 4 wheeler, pretty quick. My Lil john couldn't pull that monster 2 inches, great video frank made me chuckle like you did when you stuck it 😁👍. Your other friend from Michigan
Hard to believe that red clay will grow anything but it does. I have a 12" and wish it was a 10 but I'll keep it. Cost more but was cheaper per foot. 80 to 100 Hp pulls it just fine and I can probably move more dirt faster than I can with the dozer in most conditions with less damage and finer grading.
Well, “Roxy” has been a hit with me ever since I saw her… 100 degree weather since June.., is not a very motivating part making videos…, in my mind… Great video here sir, Thank you.
Longest summer I have ever seen. It isn't over yet either! If you look at the Mesonet data for the last year you wouldn't know it is so dry. We've had 60 inches in the last year and almost zero in the last 120 days. I've chewed dust the last week on the dozer and scraper. Way too dry.
Hey question for you, did you rebuild the cylinders on your td8? And if so which seal kit did you get and from where? I need both lift cylinders rebuilt and I can't find the kits.
Could you put 2 more cylinders on the blade for a total of 3cylinders , to cut down the stress on the middle cylinder just an I'm full of shit just let me know lol . Until the next video peace out

head quarters needs to send you at least 2 hats, top shelf operator. THANKS for the effort.

That’s good stuff 😂. A new cutting edge and it’ll do twice the work !! That Old Case is a Beast ❤
Thanks for doing the best you can. May God Bless you and your Family

Gettin' down & dirty in OK. That was fun.

I’ve got a big double drum sheep foot roller that would look great behind that ol 930.

An m would pull that for sure. Probably in 2nd gear.
Dogs and old iron are the best
Had me worried Frank. Thought you might have to report this tractor lost to that Corporate office up in Black Foot Iowa!
Yeah is been a bit sketchy, but I got the best lawyers! Larry, Moe and Shemp! 144Stooges call em if ya need some help with the shysters

Looks like fun....
Idea you might want to put counterweights on that scraper like old dumbbell weights
Oh it hasn't been that hot frank man it's been way dry tho .
I remember back in the 80s when it was 105 three months straight now that was Hot 🔥🥵

All work and no fun makes Frank a dull boy😜
Learn a thing or 2 from him! Is that a paid advertisement? 😆😆
Nice job.
I gave it a like for the morning hugs, also give it some comments to help boost the video.

Thank you.
What’s the story on the drag line? Any plan for future use?
Who would have thought you could find a wet spot after all this dry?
Some people call it a kaiser blade I call it box blade ummhuhpf 😆
Looking good. Is that a 8ft blade?
I live down in S.E. Okla. We are really dry too I had to dig a trench last month 2.5 ft down absolutely no moisture. But I still think 1980 was worse!

How’s the water truck coming along?
Looks like you need a dual tire set up , don’t you have another parts tractor?
Hey question for you, did you rebuild the cylinders on your td8? And if so which seal kit did you get and from where? I need both lift cylinders rebuilt and I can't find the kits.
Did ya try google? Broken tractor has them.
👍👍👍👍👍👍
