Always liked how the anime team did the tournament of power. They took their time with each character/group of characters showing their motivations and actually feeling kinda sad when they were defeated and their universe erased, even though, we were rooting for Universe 7. Ironically, it went the opposite for Jiren.
I mean. I found that quite annoying but to each their own. Having to get to know 100 characters when I only really cared about the mvps. And building those characters up just made the power scaling much worse than it already was. Considering how often Goku had to use SsB Kaioken on an enemy that should have been fodder for his super saiyan form alone.
@Drooly Doesn't matter if you didn't like them, the job was still to show them off, if you're gonna bring all these other universes in, that I still appreciate the most, when compared to the rushed manga, even if the results wasn't that good.
I'm so glad the Cell Jr.s came back. I always remembered all the speculation of a Cell Jr. surviving since Gohan killed many but not as many as there were.
To really be honest the manga made SSB a better transformation. There was a certain way to use it which made it cooler imo. It felt incomplete. It’s was cool seeing them gradually get better and better in SSB. It took them until the Moro arc to fully complete it.

Yeah, it was really hard to tell though. The only difference was the aura and darker blue hair, which wouldn't be noticeable in a black and white manga. I wish the manga had the anime design.
It's a long story. Both the anime and the manga were promotional material: the series originally had to simply adapt the two films (Battle of Gods and Resurrection of F) while the first chapters of the manga advertised the release of the series. After the success of views of the first episodes, however, they decided to continue the series and consequently the manga, which went from being an advertisement to being a real comic (with the proof, however, that Toyotaro was not ready to bear this weight and in fact still sees). Initially the differences weren't huge but at the end of the Black saga and during the Tournament of Power saga the two stories became very different (worse for the manga in my opinion): maybe Toyotaro received more freedom, maybe they thought that in this way they would have attracted interest in the manga. When the anime series ended with the Tournament of Power, Shueisha decided to continue with the publication of the manga to continue selling a product of the brand (at the expense of the tournament, which was reduced to ten chapters), and therefore after that saga there are two unpublished sagas, that of Moro and that of Granolah (still in progress). It is speculated that, in the event of a second season of Dragon Ball Super Anime, these two sagas will be adapted.

I'm kinda crossing my fingers that down the line, once the DBSuper manga finally ends, a remake called Dragon Ball Super Kai can happen. Like Dragon Ball Z Kai, it would be an update of the anime to be more manga accurate with the dialogue and scenes. Unlike DBZKai, they would need to update the animation to be more current and replace all the scenes that were original to the anime to be the ones from the manga, like Vegeta using SSJG against Goku Black instead of "I need to get more angry to get SSJGBlue to work".
Humbly apologize to those who got baited in this video. Legit only like 3 notable differences that were highlighted. The baseball filler dude really 😂😂?
The Manga did really well with the transformations but the power scaling was worse then the Anime. Like Kefla and Gohan going toe to toe made no sense to me just fan service.
This video sucks. You forgot to mention how the manga fixes the power levels of kefla. Kefla shouldn’t be stronger then Goku’s ss3 form or hell ssg. So yeah I liked how gohan was enough to beat kefla. Kefla should be a lot weaker then super vegito (dbz) since vegito had the powers of a ss3 saiyen(Goku) and a ss2 saiyen.(vegeta) kefla is just a mix of ss2(caulifa) and a ss1?(kale) so kefla should be alot weaker then Goku who is older then both caulifa and kale. Which should make his ss3 more powerful then it was in dbz. So it would make sense Gohan would had been enough to beat kefla. That’s why I believe the anime is non canon and doesn’t use akira toriyama guidance at all.
When I say gohan being just as strong as kefla is because in dbz he got as strong as a ss3 gotenks/goku only reason he started losing against super buu is buu started messing with his head by saying shit about goten doesn’t look up to him when gohan said “ time to show you why my brother looks up to me”
