Well I am here after the trial sample of AKT !! It worked wonders for my teenager (she would use a can of normal; deodorant a week!!!) and for me a menopausal sweat fest !!! I tried men's deodorants and they worked but after 6 hrs the bacterial stench would kick IN. LOVED your review as wanted to see the applicator and how It worked. Signed up to AKT and ithe applicator comes in the starter kit. Subscribed to you to my friend your pace, tone and details were bang on sprinkled with fine humour. You didnt labour the point either. @@lc9261they do a trial pack of tiny tubes of all the scents. I bought these then you can adjust your subscription to change scent on your next delivery. I usually switch between the orange and teal tubes.
Thank You...I loved hearing a man comment on something that we all SHOULD be using. I will be trying the discovery set to see which one is my favorite. BTW.....there is a type of cap that I use on my tube medication ,where the top of the cap has a pointed tip to puncture that foil seal. So that could be a solve or put that point on the "assistant" 🤔

A totally great review, thankyou. I have spent a small fortune on natural deodorants that simply do not work. Currently using Wild but it marks all my (predominantly black) clothes so I have great hope that this might not do the same 🤞

I am waiting for them to be delivered and wasn’t sure if I’d made the right decision, but your video has reassured me that it’s a product I do need to try. One thing I am wondering. Would the lid from a tube of tomato puree work to open the tubes? I’ve not seen AKT in person yet, but from the video, I thought the aluminium seal you need to pierce looked very similar to the seals on tubes of tomato puree, and they usually come with a piercing tool built into the plastic lid.

I havent tried the competitors, but I've used AKT for the last year or so. I've used 3 tubes in a year (all After Thunder), I use it most days (once a day) and I use about half the amount squeezed out at 5:00 on each arm. I'm also a hairy bloke, ride my bike a lot and it really is a brilliant deodorant that keeps its scent throughout the day. Price wise its not cheap, but then again I dont know how much I would spend on normal deodorant over 3 months. Also worth mentioning that it doesnt ruin my white vests so I save money in that area I suppose!
Absolutely, I realised after uploading i hadn't really talked about price specifically - I may do an update soon. It does last a very long time - My wife and I both use it, and each tube lasts a long time. Wild was actually the brand that my wife had been using previously that I talked about - however, as I hadn't used it personally i didn't want to to criticise them directly.
For the record (a year after you posted this) i recently acquired the assistant and the instructions on the box say to oinch the ends together and use them to stab open the tubes (my words not theirs).
Regarding the subscription: you can change the product and the delivery schedule. You can also click a 'deliver now' option. I don't see why you couldn't order a few at a time this way, though I've never done it myself.

Gender free is fine as a concept. However I know I prefer more traditionally masculine scents... and producing scents that are meant to be gender neutral means they aren't able to go too floral or too musky - which is limiting them. For a distance selling company with a fairly expensive product that is a bit of a problem. I ordered after thunder to begin with and then opted for a tube of orange grove. I still can't decide which of the two I prefer... neither are akin to the other products I tend to use. I am an actor... I've yet to try these onstage yet, so we'll see how we go when I do... During exercise, it hasn't prevented me from sweating - I'd say its on par with other antiperspirants I've used such as mitchum - but the scent lasts all day. The other issue is ease of use... I often have to reapply antiperspirant between shows, so a spray is vastly more convenient than squeezing a balm out of a tube. And a squeezy tube is much more likely to get mangled in a bag than a can of spray deodorant.
Must be a shame to live life so cynically. The way he’s reviewing them seems open and honest and he’s critical where needed re the smell and texture and applicator. So I happen to believe him when he says his wife tried using them first, so he decided to try… You believe what you will. Or not. Never trust anyone. That’s a shame when him a genuinely nice bloke.

He’s only got 5k followers and posts about hobbies and other stuff like surfing etc. He talks honestly about his frustrations with some aspect of the products re the kid, how to order, etc. He’s clearly not the scale of influencer AKT would send free stuff to. But you carry on duping and manipulating your own thoughts into negative ones, Sue… what a sad way to live.

I’ve received and tried the lavender one, very impressed and it was like you said, a bit chalky. I do like it and look forward to testing it more and trying the other scents.

that's a genius plan! just make sure you rinse them off, you don't want your tomatoes tasting of AKT, or vice versa! lol.

that's very odd - mine's 2 years old and hasn't ever tarnished much - where are you storing yours?
@@LittleTipple I’ve made sure to keep it away from direct sunlight and away for moisture, customer service reckons it’s norm.
