ok, curious. the lead for my O2 sensor on my 93 245 goes behind the head as you've shown. i've noticed a "block off" on the header before the cat and saw this video and was like oh dang that's where it is.
If I'm understanding you, you are saying you have more than one spot an O2 sensor could go. Some models don't have the spot we're talking about up by the head. I just heard from a guy whose 88 only has the spot by the CAT. Volvo liked moving things around depending on year and where at in the world the car was released.
@@ShiftBricksGarage the lead on my 93 goes behind the head, when i run the code it's showing O2 sensor. please keep in mind I've had this car for just a year and I'm slowly learning. However, i noticed a bolt in where I would've assumed was the port for the O2 sensor on the exhaust before the CAT. Perhaps there is more than one spot for the O2 sensor to mount? Bottom line, I've not been able to tell where that lead goes.
@@markkaufman5031 correct, the port is blocked off and whomever connected the lead to something behind the head that i simply can't see. I'm gonna see if i can remove the bolt on the exhaust closing the port, plug the O2 sensor in and see what happens. if no good I'll just put it back as it was. I'm thinking it was bypassed somehow. the car runs very rich so I'll experiment and see....
I love working on my Redblock.
Always something to do!
Looking forward to the next video!

No problem! Thanks for watching 🙏
