It's not a time issue. They thankfully aren't on their Mystic Mine shit. It's just that killing people, especially on a mass scale, is a DQ and definitely worthy of an arrest. It's why you don't see Seal of Orichalcos. People don't like Soul Stealing.
then there's the fact that there are soulless individuals at locals on occasion, sometimes having a job suck it out of them already or even born without one, taking even longer when it has to find more souls to consume.
The Earthbound Immortals are one of the main reasons why i love yugioh, the ability to pull from almost anything in the real world and to make it into an archetype is just awesome. Creating awesome card design that represents what is being used, but also at the same time expanding relative knowledge and worldview of things an individual might not just have ever known. I remember when i was young and learned what the Nazca Lines were from the show/cards and my mind was blown. Though i really hated that instead of giving fans the Earthbound Servants from Arc-V, Konami instead just gave us Goodwin cards for new earthbound support.
To be fair earthbound servants do actually act like an archetype while the immortals are meant to be stand alone boss monsters for different decks with support that works for all of them.
Btw I'm peruvian and I love seeing our culture in media even if not in the most flattering light (I love Kuzco) bc it motivates people to investigate, Goodwin used a lot of incaic mytology inspired monsters and was awesome being able to understand the references, also as a bonus I love people misspronouncing Ccapac apu (is kapac apu)
Have you heard about 5Ds’ unintentional prediction (I think that’s the appropriate word) regarding the Nazca Lines? In the anime, the leader of the immortals, Red Nova, was represented by a serpent geoglyph, of which there wasn’t a real-world Nazca counterpart. However, years later after a windstorm, a serpent geoglyph was discovered among the Nazca lines!

Sadly that part never got dubbed for some reason, so for the international version, Jack just ends up summoning RND for the first time against the Nordic duelists, and everyone is surprised and wondering how he got it. But yeah, when Red Nova was about to be freed, a serpent geoglyph appeared in the sky, but since there wasn’t a serpent among the Nazca lines at the time, the design was completely original. However, a sandstorm occurred in the region around 2014 (from what I could tell), and a serpent pattern was discovered alongside over 100 other new glyphs (obviously not the same design as the anime, but still).
I like putting Aslla Piscu in my decks, because it's always hilarious watching my opponent try to panic about it. I was in a duel on Master Duel last night for the Limit 1 Festival, using a Cyberse deck, with this card in it for fun. My opponent stalled me with Wall of Revealing Light, so I stalled them in return with Firewall Dragon, Ib the World Chalice Priestess, and Aslla Piscu. The duel went on for about an a hour, because neither of us could do anything, nor did either of us dare to.
Honestly I really hope the Earthbound Servants get printed, they were an awesome anime archetype and could actually give the Immortals a competent synchro engine to take advantage of all that synchro support they have.
So, funny thing, Ccarayhua together with Revival is run in Fireking Decks as a Tech option, giving you the ability to both have instant boardwipes, something the deck really profits from, and the ability to retrieve your one copy of diagram
When I tried to make an Earthbound Immortal deck years back, I tried to jam the Seal of Orichalcos in there. It had a built in field barrier and an attack boost. Then there was the hilarious "Oh god oh fuck!" in universe implications of those two things being combined.
And now that the Earthbound Immortals have their own video, Konami will spontaneously have the need to release the Earthbound Prisoners and Earthbound Servants just to annoy Nova.
Other good cards that work well with the immortals are some of the Monarch Cards because they aid in giving support and protection to tribute summoning, and Hardened Armed Dragon because when used as material for a tribute summon it gives the new monster destruction protection.
This deck is pretty much worse monarchs ( or more like worse steelswarms ) but add a need for a field spell and a few really poor effects a bunch of random monster and a two stupid Syncro monsters that are just as hard to get out even with the tuners they have ( with are better in any deck than the one they were mad for)
the funny thing about roar of the earthbound immortal and earthbound immortal revival is that they still count as earthbound immortal cards so you can still search them with offering because of the name change.
Honestly, props to you for pointing out the problematic nature of using non-western artifacts as harbingers of doom in media. Not an easy conversation, but we should have it. I appreciate your willingness to call out things that don't sit right.

Linewalker probably works well enough with the fish immortal so that if your Field spell is poped you got linewalker and fish in defense slowly dealing 1200 each turn to Victory

The anime version could add any card at all from your deck to your hand, Kalin just only ever searched his immortal so the change let it still function identically
If only Wiraqocha Rasca has its anime effect in real life, maybe instead of 1, Rasca makes opponen'ts LP to 100 or 1000, also they didn't take any damage until the next end phase Sounds very good than boosting its ATK to 3100

Ah the earthbound immortals, I remember running a meme deck long ago that basically created a force lock with Chacu. The setup was with line walker, Chacu, the field spell for protection, and a spell/trap I've forgotten the name of where at the end of the turn it'd force chaccu into def. Come the opponents turn they can't do much, and after pass I put chacu back into atk for direct dmg. It was a hilarious deck when it got going, and why my one friend hates whales. 100% the deck is useless nowadays and sadly I lost the deck profile because I've wanted to make it in MD to troll around for fun.
i combo uru with lair of darkness in my earthbound deck it has closed out so many games for me. i dont know why other people dont combo the 2 its an alright play and its damn fun
for my OWN silly tech pick, put Ascilla Piscu into a Fire King deck. its effect doesnt restrict to destruction on field, you can also do so from the hand or deck :P

I play an Earthbound immortal deck that use fabled monster as discard material to further synchro climb without using my normal summon. It's a going 2nd and inconsistent deck that can't really run removal but it's so satisfying when I pull of combo. I use the giant to help push for damage if I must attack over something instead of the spider.
I'm sad we did not get a Mother 3 joke to go alongside Earthbound. Anyways, time for some techs: -One of the absolute fastest ways to get both a synchro on field and in the graveyard with a single card is Windwitch Ice Bell. Get that pretty Crystal Wing line, and you can special summon Earthwalker from the hand immediately because only your Extra Deck is locked! -Inca tech : Symphonic Warrior Guitaar, summoning Miccs from the deck. Great way to access another level 5 for your tuners and two normal summons to climb. I freaking love Inti and Quilla.

Weirdly enough. With the new Earthbound support, they have weird synergy with Ursarctics. Pair that with the fact that EBI are lv 10 so they all can be discarded for the Ursarctic effects and geoglyph being so easy to activate because of how they spam the field and its not sooooo bad....

I liked using Hardened Armed Dragon to circumvent their Field Spell requirement. They can’t destroy themselves with their own effect if they *can’t be destroyed by card effects* to begin with. Lol.
In duel links you have the ultimate earthbound immortal skill so you an set your opponent to 1 LP But that still requires you get Rasca in hand, Summon it, and have something like cometary bomb in order to get the win. Cuz there’s no way your opponent is gonna let rasca last till the next turn if they can help it
its not that they lack the eyes for detail they just fail to look back on some of the older support/ archetype cards and properly create new ones to help make better combos and summons easier. also do you plan on making a video on the earthbound servants from yugioh arc V?
You'd actually have 2 nickels and like 2.5 pennies (round to 3). Because Advanced Crystal Beasts can't exist without Advanced Dark on the field, though you can control multiples of them.
Sorry to be that guy, but the villains had just as much plot power as the heroes in this series. The only Dark Signer with a good deck was Kallen, and even then he didn't have a great version of it

You can use dragvirion as a synchro level 6 for tribute summon, and it would special summon itself back so you could keep with the synchro latter

How do i summon the earthbound immortals? Can I summon tribute summon two monsters for any regular high level monsters
For some reason you can’t search earthbound spirit when you search for a earthbound monster just something odd
In duel links you have the ultimate earthbound immortal skill so you an set your opponent to 1 LP
But that still requires you get Rasca in hand, Summon it, and have something like cometary bomb in order to get the win. Cuz there’s no way your opponent is gonna let rasca last till the next turn if they can help it

its not that they lack the eyes for detail they just fail to look back on some of the older support/ archetype cards and properly create new ones to help make better combos and summons easier.
