      You will need to contact Laura for that pricing. Her email link is here in our article. everythingplayadelcarmen.com/everything-about-renting-in-playa-del-carmen/ They just got that listing, so we are not sure on the long term rental prices.

      In our article here we have some sample prices and also our map in the article has sample prices. everythingplayadelcarmen.com/everything-about-renting-in-playa-del-carmen/
      It is a little hard to mention prices because unlike many cities, we have a low and high season, many vacation rentals, many short term and almost every level of comfort.

    These are places geared to wealthy tourists. Not a realistic local rent rates.
    Slightly cheaper than Toronto eh?

    • @EverythingPlayaDelCarmencom
      @EverythingPlayaDelCarmencom  Месяц назад +1

      People that are usually looking for 3-6 month rentals are usually people that want somewhere comfortable to stay and probably have done a lot of tours and things, so they will be more at home while visiting. There are cheaper rentals, but you often need to go out of the center or find them yourself and work out a contract. These apartments have all be verified and cut out the hassle of looking around yourself and protect both parties. Rent is also more in Playa because many owners want to rent short term and not for longer term which is less profitable. having year round warm weather, rooftop pools and ocean views are also a perk of many of these condos. We will soon make another video showing tours of short term apartments and we will address the pricing as well.

    20,000 pesos a month is surely luxurious. not my budget! l0l

      These are usually fully equipped places with things like washers and dryers. The good thing about Playa is the fact there are many price points available. Although, the downtown is getting expensive, and the entry point is about 12,000 pesos a month and then goes up from there.

    Playa is not cheap. Dont go there expecting a luxury spot for $500 a month lol

    • @EverythingPlayaDelCarmencom

      Very true. Playa is one of the more expensive parts of Mexico because it is popular and has a lot of services. If you are moving to Playa for a year or longer, the visa requirements mean you need to have a good income to meet financial requirements. That does not mean you have to spend more than you want, but you have to be prepared to cost of living. About 80% of the country is cheaper than Playa Del Carmen, but most people choose not to live there because it does not offer everything Playa that does have.
