12.3.4 fixed lots of little things but just like your staging error, I had a couple issues like 3 way stop and the car failed to give a right of way for the car that didn’t have a stop sign. The other was being on a turning lane and trying to decide what do. Both this areas were figured out by 12.3.3. Around my area there are a lot of new roads and developments. On one occasion at a new stop light, 12.3.4 stopped in red and then once the intersection cleared it started to go as if it was a stop sign. I am sure the next update will fix this small issues. Other than that it’s amazing.
Wasn't expecting to have a staging issue in v12 at all, very surprising and I wonder if it would have continued straight and cut across. Get your wiper fluid topped up!
It may have tried but typically it honors the lane it’s on which would have had us back in the highways haha. Funny thing is that was the first and so far… 🤞🏽the only fail. 👀
Map a route through the disengagement intersection, then ZOOM IN on the map. Willing to bet you’ll see something amiss with the blue line. It needs to be fixed, to be sure, but I hesitate to guess how great it will be when its routes are error free. 👍🏻💪
If the default is to give Uber/Lyft drivers 5 stars, what about those that really excel and go the extra mile etc? Default should be 3 stars imo, but then it might also default back to drivers begging for higher ratings
All of us Tesla owners. Even those without FSD enabled generate useful info as FSD can still be in shadow mode. In addition, variations in lighting, traffic and road conditions can be generated off of real-world video clips using simulation.
That passenger was oblivious! I can understand him not noticing the car was driving itself especially since to the untrained eye it looks like you are the one steering most of the time as you touch the steering wheel and flick the scroll wheel. However, as soon as the wipers turned on longer than what they would have been on had you turned on the windshield washer, as a passenger I would have politely and curiously asked why the wipers were on. I can't see his eyes/head since his face was blurred. Was he listening to music and/or buried in his phone? I guess it is what it is ;-)
Buried in his phone the whole time haha. Yeah it’s pretty nutty to me. But we are in an age of being glued to our screens. This demonstrates that quite well as the distracted passenger has no clue the car is getting him to his destination lol.
I'm gonna guess that was not intentional. When auto wipers are turned on my Tesla does that all the time in very bright conditions. It creates a glare that the Tesla AI interprets as rain.
@@CYBRLFT your data based approach is great. I’m a fan of FSD but now I’m wondering if other cars have anything close or better. Audi? I can’t find if they are good or not? Do you have an opinion on others?
12.3.4 does have more navigation related issues and limited unprotected left issues. See Chuck's latest 12.3.4 vid on his unprotected left. Pretty much flunked it after prior 12 versions doing well.

Damn. Staging related disengagement at 10:50
Yuuup.... It's so rare for me to have a staging issue and holy shit is that a good example of one.
Still, it was a fantastic drive and very safe! We are at such a high level now.
Seeing this a lot in other vids.

Thank you
i have found that 12.3.4 really loves getting into turn lanes too early.

of course you praise it and THEN it screws up
Classic Murphy 😆
@@CYBRLFT FSD has feelings too, once the customer gave it a 4/5 rating it decided to go a different route...
Wait, why did he only give it 4/5, i didn't notice any issues during his trip to that point, did something happen that I missed?
Nope it’s a solid question. I was curious myself but don’t want to look like I’m trying to influence their decision.
Drives beautifully. Who did they train this on?
A ton of video lol

Why didn't it detect the correct lane? was it the sunlight? Mapping?
It’s hard to say. There could be several factors. I’m surprised it messed that up. Otherwise perfect rather long trip.
My fsd messes up lanes all the time

What sunglasses are you wearing?
These are some super cheap off brand gas station glasses that were falling apart haha. I didn’t even see a logo.
They protect you from the sun I like them haha
Cleaning of the windscreen; did you do that or was it automatic?
Your routes go through some wonderful scenery 👍

It was intentional. I just notice pollen spots and such and it’s just one of my habits to always clean it wipe things down 😝
Did you know you don't have to click it all the way down to engage FSD? Just one down as if you're engaging "Neutral" 😬
Yup yup. Mostly muscle memory at this point.
😎🤙
It seemed to have missed half a dozen speed limit signs in the suburban area…. said 45 when it was a 25 etc. That’s a bit disappointing.
He's in metric mode, not mph
@@VirgoSB ah ta…. that restores my faith in it. Thanks.
24.69mph....
Hehehe 👀 don’t worry too much. I’ve made sure it’s in my description that I’m on metric but plenty don’t catch it understandably so.

Im still on 12.3.3
Its not much different it seems. I'm ready for 12.4
i swear fsd doesnt do well when praised
So true 🤣 performance anxiety.
You shouldn't update .4 has many problems .3 was batter you should have waited.
12.3.4 is currently outperforming 12.3.3
was this the first failure? @@CYBRLFT

Cool let’s hope V12.4 will be another big jump!
🥰😍🥳👍👍👍
