    So it doesn't have an annoyingly loud turn signal that's the win for me LOL. Sam You basically described all the problems of a Jeep Wrangler on the road. Off roaders take that stuff with the grain of salt. They know what they're buying. Comparing it to sedans would be pointless. It's a giant expensive toy for rich people who want to just have fun on the weekend.

    Bought a bronco raptor in October 23 - sweet deal used low-ish miles. Not a daily driver - treat it like a corvette or other fun car, checks so many boxes. In the summer with the top and doors off it can’t be beat imo. Fast enough- sounds not like a V8… but good enough. Kids love riding in it - and is way more easy to park than a 1500 truck. I think it’s very comfortable- don’t agree with that assessment that it’s not - not an Escalade by any means.. cool tech / safety tech. Checks a lot of boxes for me. But everyone has an opinion.

    In my 23 Big Bend with the 2.3, the HP ratings were 275hp on 87 and 300hp on 91+. Recently, I put the Ford Performance tune in mine which now requires 93 and it was totally worth it. More HP, better MPG, better shifting, etc..... Not sure if the difference would be that drastic, but if you filled up with 87, it may have detuned itself slightly to compensate for the 87. That's why the gas cap says 87+. You can run regular, but 91+ is recommended for peak performance.

    Bronco Raptor doing Bronco Raptor things. The BRaptor is not a mall crawler. Its not soccer practice pick-up. Sure you can do those things, but if you bought a BRaptor for that, you purchased the wrong vehicle. Heck most specs of Bronco is meant to be out in the wild. The OBX version, non SAS is your mall crawler. Even that trim is capable off road. I have a Bronco. Not a BRaptor, but it's been modded to everything on level 10. In truth the only difference in my Rig and a BRaptor is the 3.0 vs the 2.7. I daily mine, and it goes OFF-ROAD. It does exactly what I built it out to be. It’s actually the only window on the vehicle that you can put solid graphics on. The size compared to car is just asinine it’s literally intended for on road and off road fun… imagine taking that car to trail… hmmm or let’s make the bronco smaller so this guy will not complain and see how it handles off road rock crawling or Baja…. well, a review is a review and I disagree with a lot of things. However, for a $100K, Ford could've done a lot better and yes, this thing is a lot bigger than you think even though I daily drive a full size F150 Raptor, I was surprised of its size.

    I will not use 87 in this type of vehicle. I have found lower octane gas seem to be detrimental to the timing systems/chains of modern day cars. Constant oil changes and 93 octane gas seems to ensure reliability and longevity of a cars timing system. Manufacturers use 87 octane and 10,000 mile oil changes for marketing purposes. They are not good for the car. 3,000 mile oil changes and 93 Octane will give you very high reliability.

    • @SamCarLegion

      Good to know. Premium in some cars gives you fuel efficiency. But then again you have cheap people

    • @ikeudechukwu5018
      @ikeudechukwu5018 3 месяца назад

      @@SamCarLegion absolutely. When I told a friend that he would get better gas mileage using 93 octane rather than 87, he laughed at me. One of my 4 cylinder cars has 347,000 miles and it still uses the original timing chain, original tensioner, original timing chain guides that were installed at the factory 31 years ago. People are surprised that a timing chain can last that long in a tiny 4 cylinder engine. I do 2,000 miles oil changes on conventional oil (Castrol GTX). i doubted that the oil alone could explain the unusually long life of my timing chain. All my cars use 93 octane. I stopped using 87 octane about 15 - 17 years ago. It was about 10 years ago that I began to suspect the impact of low octane rated gas on timing chains. The stability of the explosions inside the cylinders sends some type of vibration or shock wave to the timing chain system. High octane rated gas is very very stable and probably sends little to no vibrations or shock waves to the timing system which helps with its reliability and longevity of the timing chain and engine. In the first 4-6 years of auto ownership, you probably may not see the difference between using low octane gas and high octane gas as far as the effects on the timing chain parts are concerned. You want very very stable explosions in the cylinder, and this is what a low octane rated gas cannot do, and why I dread using low octane gas. The explosions inside the cylinder matters a lot.
