Google made some incredible fabric cases for the pixel 4 and 5. It's a shame they stopped making those, they were much more appealing in texture and design, and still strong and light weight - bring back the fabric google!
Thanks to your video, I've just ordered the Spigen Rugged Armor. You're the only RUclips reviewer who has reviewed this in Marble Grey so far. Was going to get the Caseology Nano Pop or RINGKE Onyx Magnetic, but your video has swayed me - mainly due to the colour. Thank you
Please do case reviews from Latercase, Thinborne, Peak Design etc. Interested in higher end, quality cases. I always find Spigen and Caseology cases tacky and cheap looking with horrible design aethetics. The only ones I liked here were the Mous ones.
It's a pity that none of these offer more camera cover, such as I have on my 6a. I'd always be worried about scratching it. I'm not a fan of the new design. That said, good to see that Spigen have gotten rid of those bulgy corners on the Rugged Armour and the Athlex "newer" design, far better than the designs for the 6-7 range! 😉😉
First case is a no-go. Not sure how you find it grippy. It's so smooth and slippery. It's almost like they don't want you to hold it. It's fall out of your shorts slippery. A pickpocket's dream.
I went back to the Pixel 8 silicone case to compare and that one feels grippier somehow. But the phone itself without a case, now thats a super slick rick bar of soap which would be a pickpockets dream
@@FishBeeProductions hmm, let's hope I can live with the p9 case feel. The Mous slim case was also too slippery for my liking. Using a Spigen thin fit on the P8 but it's a very boring black case
Ok so 2 months in. The official pixel 9 pro is more slippery than the p8 and mous case. It looks amazing, ill give it that. Just wished it was more grippy
Why do people (utubers) associate the clicky buttons to the case? The buttons already click without the case but they already make it seem they click because of the case
I got a Caseology nano pop for my pixel 7 and it scratched the top of the back of the phone after a very short time, not to mention how many fingerprints the case holds. Not satisfied with the product at all.
The UAG Pathfinder with MagSafe has been my favorite case on my iPhone 15 Pro Max and Galaxy S24 Ultra. What sucks for the Pixel 9 is the green color is only available on the 9/9 Pro, not the 9 Pro XL...
Which one is your favourite between mous super thin Vs Google official case? I can add a 3rd party magsafe ring to the Google case which would fix that issue
both are nice, mous is thinner but i might like the official silicone one better. I might try adding the magsafe ring to the back as well but not sure if it will stick to it.
I would say the biggest negative about owning a Pixel phone is the case selection. There's a million cases for maximum protection and grip but very few cases for style. Some people want minimal protection and style over a dull thick case.
@@CastroJordan pitaka only has 1 case available, but more options for Samsung and apple. That's my point, pixel is a distant 3rd when it comes to 3rd party case manufacturers.
We're talking about market share. Case manufacturers aren't gonna mass produce for them to sit in a warehouse. Reality is not many people own pixels in comparison to the big 2.
There's no way that Grey case protects the front of the screen if it falls flat in the front. 100% gonna shatter, or am I wrong? Just by looking at it, it seems to not protect anything.
@@FishBeeProductions it just peels off in one piece and no residue on the phone. It just feels like how it came out the box. It is akin to removing a screen protector. It just means you can enjoy the design of your device better
@@polycentric Ten minutes to apply and I have never needed to change it. In fact my brother took over my 6pro with a leather Dbrand on it, it still lives today as I applied it a week or so after the phone released

Google needs to bring back those fabric cases, thise were sweet
true

yeah im not sure why they stopped
Fabric was Carpet trash
@@kevinh7597 did you own one? They were really well made and high quality
Peak design has some somewhat similar fabric ones.
I like the Pixel 8 and 9 Google cases better. Fabric cases were slippery as hell
If only the google case has magsafe.... It is BY FAR the best looking one and I want it if only it has it...
That Mous Super Thin case looks perfect on the phone. Very nice.
@@CastroJordan Yeah I have two myself. The darker the colour, the worse it looks with hand oils. The bright colour "masks" it better.
@@CastroJordan I have the clear version and it's a beauty on my Porcelain Pixel 9 Pro XL
Does the super thin mous case actually charge through magsafe though?
@@trobins77 Yes
Does it protect the phone well?
I was looking at 3 options (Cyrill, nano pop, and nous thin) and you covered them all. Thanks. I think I'll go with the mouse thin case
Got nano pop and love it. Very good grip
@@dibidibadibidibou thanks for info 😊 I ordered the mous thin

I bought a Bellroy Leather case and Carved travelers Wood resin case for my Pixel 9 Pro XL
Thanks for weighing the cases! I was looking for this info.
I ordered the spigen clear with magsafe still waiting on my pixel 9 wintergreen to arrive in the mail
My Spigen clear with massage is disappointing... Really weak magnet
how is the spigen thin vs the mous super thin? which is thinner?

Ringke Onyx Magnetic - cheap, sturdy, mag safe, grippy
i do like how more companies are adding mag safe, much easier for car mounts
Once you try MagFit you can't use anything else. First time i've not ordered a Spigen Rugged armor, let's see how the Ringke Onyx will perform
Is the magsafe spigen case only for pro model?i heard the wireless module is positioned differently in the base 9 model

That really sucks I just ordered that one hoping they improved it. Ha dit for the pixel 8 and had to send it back because it was so slippery

In my opinion pound for pound caseology makes the best cases these days. Use to be Spigen untill they changed their designs a few years ago

Love my Spigen Enzo case

I work in a dusty environment, what do you know about a case with dust cover for the charging port. Is poetic my only option?
yes for that style of case, poetic and supcase are usually decent options if otterbox isn't available.
@@FishBeeProductions thanks!
Are otterbox not good?
I only use athlex on my pixels cause the grippiness. I tried the spygen clear case but was like wet soap bar.
Any suggestions for waterproof case with a wrist lanyard?
Could you do the dbrand case please 🙏. Im split between that and mous.
Does the caseology have magsafe? That orange thing looks like it 😭
What watch do you wear on video? I like the green watch strap.
yes same too what is the watch and band plz?
galaxy watch 7
What....No kickstand cases?
