The Pixel 9 is the best Pixel they have ever released! I had a Pixel 6 Pro and had nothing but issues. The 9 Pro has been rock solid. I think Google really knocked it out of the park with this one!
very simple, not flashy video but super usefull and objective content liked the video and I hope you keep doing stuff like this, people frequently miss on stuff because they just don't have the knowledge about it. Cheers bud
Thank you for the kind words! Yeah I try to keep it simple. I have been using android for over a decade. There are so many cool things you can do that people are unaware of.
All this Settings menu, graphics, quantity and quality of possibilities are almost gruesomely, comparing with any other brands, with his own UI, above, naked Android, like we have unfortunately on Google, Motorola,etc..😂😂🎉🎉
Here are the Pixel 9 Pro Advanced Tips and Tricks in bullet points: * Now Playing: This feature helps you identify songs playing around you. It can be turned on in settings > sound and vibration > now playing. You can also add a shortcut to your home screen for Now Playing. * Rules: You can set rules to automate certain actions on your Pixel device. For example, you can set a rule to turn on Do Not Disturb mode when you connect to your gym's Wi-Fi. * Built-in VPN: Pixel devices come with a built-in VPN by Google. You can enable it in Settings > Network & internet > VPN. * Copy Text from Recent Apps: You can copy text directly from the recent apps panel. This is useful for apps that don't allow highlighting text. * Activate Clear Calling: This feature reduces background noise during calls. You can enable it in Settings > Sounds and vibrations > Clear calling. * Adaptive Alert Vibration: This feature reduces vibration strength when your phone is still and the screen is facing up. You can enable it in Settings > Sounds and vibrations > Vibration & haptics > Adaptive alert vibration. * Face Detection for Auto-Rotate: This feature uses the camera to determine the auto-rotate orientation. You can enable it in Settings > Display > Autorotate. * Swipe to Invoke Assistant: You can activate Google Assistant by swiping up from the bottom corner of your phone. You can enable it in Settings > System > Gestures > Swipe to invoke assistant. * Circle to Search: This feature allows you to search or translate text by holding your finger on the bottom bar and circling the text. * Live Caption: This feature generates captions for videos that don't have subtitles. You can enable it in Settings > Sound & vibration > Live caption. * Keyboard Shortcuts: You can set up your own keyboard shortcuts in Settings > System > Keyboard > Personal dictionary. * Emoji Background: You can set an emoji background for your phone. You can do this in Settings > Wallpaper & style > More wallpapers > Emoji Workshop. * Cinematic 3D Wallpaper: You can set a live wallpaper that changes as you tilt your phone. You can enable it by setting a photo wallpaper and enabling Cinematic 3d motion effects. * Quick Tap: You can set a function to be performed by tapping the back of your phone. For example, you can set it to open your Google Wallet. You can enable it in Settings > System > Gestures > Quick tap.
@@James-Layne On board maybe? I just know I only have mic issues when recording videos through googles default camera app. The mic works fine on calls. Is there a setting to fix this? When I record videos you cant hear what I am saying unless the volume is 75% or higher.
I used to have a dynamic background on my Samsung.. changed the background every time I turned it on or off to another photo. I could assign 15 different photos as a background or on lock screen.. do you know if this is available on the pixel?
So not natively in the Pixel settings however there is an app you can download called Auto Wallpaper that works pretty well. You can add images you want and then set the settings in the app to change the image on phone unlock. In order to set your custom dynamic wallpaper go to the wallpaper settings on your Pixel / More Wallpapers / Live Wallpapers / then select Auto Wallpaper.
Thank you so very much that is indeed exactly what I have been looking for.🎉🎉 Thank you. Would you also happen to know an app that is similar to the safe folder app on Samsung. I know native you can move pictures and documents in the safe folder. On Samsung you could also move apps to this folder and they acted like duplicates. You could have for example have 2 skype accounts logged in simultaneously..1 from the normal app screen and the other from within the safe folder. Also usefull to have apps installed that you want to hide or have extra securely out of sight for others to see. Would you know if this is or will be natively available or an equivalent app that does this also?
There unfortunately is not an equivalent to Samsung's Secure Folder on the Pixel for duplicating apps. There are apps on the Play Store that could possibly do this however I have not personally tested any of them for myself.
And this is why pixels are the DEFINITION of a smartphone
You know it! The software on Pixels is so smooth too compared to other OEMs.
@@James-Layne traded my s24+ for the base 9 and glad I did bcuz this thing has great battery life and the UI is super smooth

And I hear the pixel 10 is gonna be the craziest one yet! Buckle up!
@JonCom3dy If they switch to TSMC for their SOC the Pixel 10 should be an improvement in Video quality which would be a welcome improvement.

Ok Ill admit that's pretty cool
I have this phone and love it! But someone please tell me how to fix the low audio recording when making video. It's VERY low
Are you having issue with the on board microphone or external microphone when making a video?

I will have to test this. So far I have not had any issues with my Pixel.
I get my Pixel 9 Pro on Friday.

That double tap is pretty hard to do when you have your phone in a case......
Agreed. You will need a thinner case to use that function.
Use chapters for videos
Added now! Sorry about that, looks like I forgot to add them for just this video. Thanks for the head up!
now playing gone from my phone? why?
Only thing I can think of is that is possibly not available in your country?
Your phone listens to everything you say and What it hears.😢
Perhaps
@James-Layne We will be talking in the living room. And one of the phones will say, "Okay, google.
If your phone has voice activated assistant it can sometimes activate on its own on accident if it hears the keywords like okay google.
I'm buying a flip phone. I'm done having no Privacy.
Fair enough. I'm afraid there's no getting away from it though even with a flip phone.
Tip for growing your channel. Personally, I'm not watching a video without chapters. I don't care if you take my advice. Not my channel.
100% agreed! Looks like this one I forgot to add them. Added now. Thanks for the heads up!
