Thanks so much! They are so easy AND really, really good. And these are bigger than I usually make them. I try to make them a couple of bites but I gotta tell you I LOVED THESE BIG ONES! LOL.
Love the fact that you're using dry roasted peanuts.👍. Making these for my 86 year old Dad for father's day this weekend.. He didn't like sweets until he got into he's 80's and chocolate covered peanuts / clusters are his favorite. Thanks for sharing...❤
I own an online candy shop which is coming back for business after the new year. I can't keep peanut clusters or my several variants in stock! However the one thing I will say is that all of our candy is made to order so you can't get it in 3 days. When your order comes in it is then prepared and shipped so that its the freshest it can be.:-)
Thank you, Lydia. We make these every Christmas and other times throughout the year. They are so easy but so great. Have a great day and thanks for watching and taking time to comment.
How'd you like them? I have made them with salted and unsalted and they are great both ways. I just like the saltiness. Thanks for watching and I'm so excited you tried my recipe!
I think miniature marshmallows would combine well with them. It would be similar to a Goo Goo Cluster! Of course I mean just for a variation! Can’t wait to try this! 😘🥰😍
There is absolutely no need to worry about them being in date or as you said in code. When you taste one if it's rancid they've gone off and it won't hurt you just throw them away. Dates are arbitrary and mean nothing and I was a position and a scientist so I know this to be true! Merry Christmas to you and all your family!
Hi Tracy and thanks for this question. They can stay at room temp after they have firmed up but they’ll last longer in the fridge and even longer in the freezer. We actually like them cold but they are harder to eat. Enjoy. And happy holidays.
Curious where you live, I lived in Simi Valley for about 25 years, back in Texas since ‘95. Your statement about your nieces coming down from Camarillo made me think you might live in Simi as well.
Hi. And thanks for your comment! No. I never lived in Similar Valley but I did live in Saugus/Canyon Country in the 70s. That’s as close as I got to Simi. Lol. Now I’m in Banning CA just east of Palm Springs. Take care and thanks for watching!!
Welcome!!And thanks so much for watching and taking time to comment. I hope you enjoy these as much as my family and I do (every year - at least!). Take care!! Mary
I know, right? But my friend just kept cooking them until eventually they turned into grainy sugar and not the good kind. Lol. It’s a funny story we laugh about all the time.
Hmmm. I bet you could but I’d do it after they’re done in the microwave. Like push a caramel into them or place the caramel on the wax paper, then top the caramel with the chocolate/peanut mixture. You have me thinking tho and I’m going to try it. If it works out I’ll do a video. If not, I’ll report back. 😃. I really appreciate your comment so thanks so much. I am going to try this as soon as possible.
Those are some really big clusters. I like the idea of using a scooper but if I were making clusters that big I think I'd add some cream to the chocolate to it would be easier to bite through. I'm still not convinced melting chocolate in the microwave is a good idea. I feel like I have more control when I do it in a double boiler but if it works for you it's easier.
I have never tried adding cream but it sounds like a great idea - sort of like a ganache?? These are pretty easy to eat but I'd try it just to see how it goes. I have been making these in the microwave since my son was a baby (he's going to be 37 in April) and never had an issue but I understand your hesitation to do that. I appreciate your thoughtful comments and thanks so much for watching!!
I have had the privilege of being gifted some of Mary's bake goods and let me tell you that this woman can really bake YUMMY STUFF!!
Thanks, Sharon. It is a passion. Xoxo
This isn't baked goods, it's nuts mixed with melted chocolate. You really don't need any skill to make this.
Look so yummy
I like and appreciate your wholesome and down to earth way about you! You are really nice!
You are too kind. Thanks so much for watching and taking time to comment.
Wow they Are Huge and Look Amazing...I Love Peanut clusters and they are hard to find here...gonna try these babies out!! Thank you for sharing!!

Thanks for that information. I often felt the dates were arbitrary. Appreciate your comments.
Thanks so much
Thank YOU, Jerry, for watching!!

Thanks and I hope you like them. They’ve been around for decades and everybody seems to love them. Take care.
Do I need to keep them refrigerated or only the first hour?
Look easy and great

Is it really necessary to freeze ir fridge these? Or can I just leave them out.
No. Not at all. It just speeds up the wait time. These will definitely harden at room temperature. Hi. And thanks for watching!!
@@LetsBakeandCookStuff thanks!!! Have a nice day!
If you add a tablespoon of coconut oil, the chocolate will stir easily and the chocolate will have a very shiny sheen which looks nice.
Great tip! Thanks. I’ll try that. I love shiny things in general. I think I’d love shiny clusters!! Appreciate your thoughts!
How do you stop them from melting in your fingers while eatting them?
I'm not sure that is possible to stop them from melting - Chill them in the fridge for sure. I actually LOVE them right out of the freezer.
Just subscribed from Denver, Colorado USA 🇺🇸. I can’t wait to try this Chocolate Butterscotch Dry Roasted salted Peanut Cluster Recipe.
Welcome!!And thanks so much for watching and taking time to comment. I hope you enjoy these as much as my family and I do (every year - at least!). Take care!! Mary
Chocolate and things like chocolate will always hold their shape when melted.
I know, right? But my friend just kept cooking them until eventually they turned into grainy sugar and not the good kind. Lol. It’s a funny story we laugh about all the time.
@@LetsBakeandCookStuff looool! 🤣
Can you add Carmel to it ?

Kids can practice with the scoop on ice cream that’s what we did ❤
Yes! The kids are always welcome. And that’s a great idea. Thanks so much for watching.
Yummy Delicious Darling. ⚘🎚🍑⭐
