This is a very easy recipe and rather than putting a couple teaspoons in each mold, try putting the mixture all over the mold then scrape the excess off with a kitchen scraper. So much faster and the chocolate will be more evenly distributed in the mold....and it's a better presentation with the flat bottoms. Professional candy maker here, and that's how I make all my filled candies and it works with this too.
To make it easier I scoop laddles on the mold then use an icing spatula to scrape the excess on top back in the pot. Then I pop it in a warm oven just so it melts into the corners without the fuss. Great job! I've also added coconut extract or Almond extract for a change of pace. TFS! -Heather
I’m SHOCKED those turned out that cute!! I felt bad you were going to all that trouble. I thought you were going to be disappointed!! I’m so excited because I have the molds too!!
When making these use only the best chc. Chips, not elcheap-o.. Finishs candy comes out tasting better. I use hurshy milk choc. Chips..i even add extra bag choc. Chips..its yummy..makes alot candy..
You know, I'm not sure. The bark candy is easy to melt, so I think that's why it's used. They make a chocolate version that might work out well. Thanks for watching.
Love the crock pot usage! What setting do you use? High or low or serve is all mine has😕 Thanks for yet another awesome idea Leigh! Hugs and blessings💞
I forgot to mention that you set slow cooker to LOW. Sorry about that!
LeighsHome did u use both almond bark bags or just half of the other one?
I used a total of 32 ounces. I *think* I used 4 rectangles from the second package of almond bark.

Thanks, I was going to ask if it supposed to be on high because that’s what you had yours set at.
Glad I saw that! Thanks! ✌️

@@ellenbarnette9261 Thanks!
Have heard about them but never made them so easy
Adorable! What if you chopped the peanuts first? Would be easier to fill the molds. My mom makes these every year and stores them in zip lock bags.
I thought about chopping them while I was attempting to fill the molds. LOL I'm sure that would work so much better. Thanks for watching!
🎄🎅🎄🎅🎄Those are so cute thanks for sharing enjoy your day🎄🎅🎄🎅🎄

You know, I'm not sure. The bark candy is easy to melt, so I think that's why it's used. They make a chocolate version that might work out well. Thanks for watching.

No, I haven't.
Can I use my Instant pot?
I have no idea. Sorry
Did u spray the molds
Nope.
How long do I leave it in the fridge?
15-30 minutes
Did u spray the mold?
Nope, you don't need to spray silicone molds.
Hello. My crockpot candy came out grainy. What did I do wrong?
I'm not sure. Sorry
Maybe got water in it.
What temp do you set it on
Low
Did all those come from one slow cooker recipe?
Yes
What does the almond bark do?
@Jeanne 2978 I don’t know, but all the crock pot/slow cooker/Christmas crack recipes that I’ve watched have it. Merry Christmas!
My peanuts got too roasted.
