      LeighsHome did u use both almond bark bags or just half of the other one?

    • @LeighsHome05
      @LeighsHome05  5 лет назад +2

      I used a total of 32 ounces. I *think* I used 4 rectangles from the second package of almond bark.

    Butterscotch chips and dark chocolate chips are WONDERFUL!

    This is a very easy recipe and rather than putting a couple teaspoons in each mold, try putting the mixture all over the mold then scrape the excess off with a kitchen scraper. So much faster and the chocolate will be more evenly distributed in the mold....and it's a better presentation with the flat bottoms.
    Professional candy maker here, and that's how I make all my filled candies and it works with this too.

    I would chop up the peanuts for the molds

  • @hkm424
    @hkm424 5 лет назад +13

    To make it easier I scoop laddles on the mold then use an icing spatula to scrape the excess on top back in the pot. Then I pop it in a warm oven just so it melts into the corners without the fuss.
    Great job! I've also added coconut extract or Almond extract for a change of pace.
    TFS!
