Been getting this repeat question on my Discord recently so I figured I'd clear up a possible bug you'll encounter with my mods folder: - If the names of items are disappearing when you hover over them in your inventory, try updating Patcher to the latest version. You can find the download link here: sk1er.club/mods/patcher - Alternatively, if it's still broken after the fact, try turning the "Optimised Font Renderer" on/off. If it's on, turn it off, and if it's off, turn it on. This can be found in the patcher settings (/patcher). Hopefully this fixes the issue for you if you have it. If you find any other bugs with the mods, don't reply to this comment, message me on Discord and I'll try to help you out and I'll update this comment :)
One day, I tried logging in and my Microsoft got removed, and I tried logging back In but it said it failed, although lunar client works with the account
cant wait for the mod folder to be outdated in a few months and then everyone's asking in mod discord support channels why their 10 version old mods folder isnt working (refraction mod folder v4 all over again)
It's crazy to me that people don't immediately think to update their mods either, that common sense just doesn't exist. Things would be so much easier if that was a first instinct...

Don't install Prism Launcher. I installed it and it hacked my Microsoft account and now I can't log in. I tell you, don't install it. If you install it, it's entirely your responsibility.
Ok so this is a good video and it has good results. Except, to anyone having the issue where text may turn invisible over certain items, the problem is with patcher. I would go ahead and download the latest version of patcher and put it in the mod folder that is being used. Also make sure to remove the previous version. the version you want i believe is 1.8.9. Hope this helps.

Not sure if this is correct but wasn't there a huge vulnerability found in java 8? using java 11 or 17 was recommended (do not quote me on this as i only remember parts of that discussion..)
This was patched, and I forget where it is but either PrismLauncher or one of my mods has a fix for this vulnerability. You should be completely fine using this installation

IF YOU ONLY SEE HEARTS AND NO HEALTH NUMBER: To me it was an issue with sba, make sure to select show health and resize it since its tiny and at the edge of the screen
this took a while to set up and when i did i was disappointed, it is really laggy, it didnt even show the mods, and the resource pack was terrible it was just a "pvp" resource pack making the swords look like daggers and making them ugly and making diamonds orange? it was a waste of time, storage, and kind of saddened me. I love your content and i think youre a great content creator, but these mods just did not work but im happy you attempted to help out your fans by doing this video, maybe im doing something wrong but it seems it works for many other people.
I know I'm months late to this video and it's probably an unpopular opinion but how do you change the main equipment menu out of transparent? it's really the only one that bothers me tbh lol
Hey, just wanted to mention that (if somebody else has this problem) I had a bug where like 50% of the items names didnt show and after like 2 hours I figured out it was a problem with patcher and I actually had to just disable the version that you had there and just install a new one on my own and put it there. So if anybody else has the same problem, here is the answer!

You can do it through the Prism Launcher by editing the install, or you can do it in game by going to "resource packs" and clicking the "open resource packs folder". You can also just open the installation folder on file explorer which you can find the buttons for in Prism
I made a 1 pixel image that has no data (so it's just the alpha layer) and that worked fine. There are probably a handful of ways to do this, but that's just how I did it. If you want the exact image I use just ping me on discord (link in the description) and I'll give it to you

The key shortcuts lets you bind commands to certain keys. For example, I have /dn binded to my alt key so I can just click alt and it uses the /dn command.

honestly needed this, been using lunar for so long but it's missing some key mods and have been having random lag spikes every couple of seconds, and if you're mining in the dwarven mines it can get annoying real fast...

Since installing this I drop frames massively in my private island only. Everywhere else is completely fine, but in my island I drop down under 20 fps when I turn. Is this a setting I have on or something I can fix? Nvm. Some furniture seems to cause massive frame drops for me, if anybody is reading this and having the same issue try removing furniture until it stops.

Solution* Download WINRAR or 7zip Download desired texture pack for inventory (I chose darkmode from modrinth) Open Solder's Orange Flare texture pack with WINRAR or 7zip Go to assets>minecraft>textures - delete the GUI folder Open desired texture pack with WINRAR or 7zip Go to assets>minecraft>textures - copy the GUI folder Paste desired GUI folder into Soldier's Orange Flare texture pack. This worked for me, would be nice if the GUI had a built in color picker/transparency slider.

This happens after I sign in using a microsoft account. I've tried a bunch of things including using a different browser and restarting my mac but nothing I've done has worked.

If you're getting the official one from the trusted sources, it should be. Just make sure you do your research and download the correct one

Quick question about the logo PNG file, to get a blank PNG file does it require a blank PNG file or do i have to use a file with just 1 pixel on it?

prism launcher is the goat, I have a hypixel instance and a desktop shortcut for it so I don't even have to open the launcher itself
