- Playing Hypixel Skyblock with the right mods can make a tremendous impact on how efficiently and effectively you can play the game. Mods can do everything from saving you hours of your time to simply making the game run smoother and better, and as a result, it's highly recommended that every Skyblock player pickup a solid mod installation for this reason. That being said, knowing which mods are safe, which ones are allowed and which ones to use isn't common knowledge amongst newer players to the game, which is why I've done all the hard work for you, and put together a very easy to install mod folder for you to use! Furthermore, this installation also comes with a custom Skyblock resource pack that'll modify the look of your game to be even better than the default experience, which I provide even more details on in today's video!

Hey all! Been getting this repeat question on my Discord recently so I figured I'd clear up a possible bug you'll encounter with my mods folder:
- If the names of items are disappearing when you hover over them in your inventory, try updating Patcher to the latest version. You can find the download link here: sk1er.club/mods/patcher
- Alternatively, if it's still broken after the fact, try turning the "Optimised Font Renderer" on/off. If it's on, turn it off, and if it's off, turn it on. This can be found in the patcher settings (/patcher).
Hopefully this fixes the issue for you if you have it. If you find any other bugs with the mods, don't reply to this comment, message me on Discord and I'll try to help you out and I'll update this comment :)

man, u r the best hypixel SB content creator, i came back to sb like 2 months ago and it was painful to look around for the most popular texturepacks and mods, and making it work because there is a lot of compatibility problems, i also watched ur last video about mods that u made like 3 years ago. And i don't know why nobody talks about texturepacks, they are really important. Once u play sb with a good texture pack the "normal" java version seems "ugly"...
Also for the people that wants to use many non-sb resourcepacks at the same time i recomend u to use the FurfSky Reborn OVERLAY at the end of the resourcepacks list.

great video! I just wanted to say that the java download did not work after I tried to launch it in prism launcher, so I went to chrome and searched "java 8 download" and it's now working perfectly. great video once again it's the best video structure I have ever seen from a skyblock creator

The key shortcuts lets you bind commands to certain keys. For example, I have /dn binded to my alt key so I can just click alt and it uses the /dn command.

wait so when the mods in the folder get updates would you have to update them yourself and i thought neu was a paid mod? and if you do have to update them yourself how would you go about doing that

Hey, just wanted to mention that (if somebody else has this problem) I had a bug where like 50% of the items names didnt show and after like 2 hours I figured out it was a problem with patcher and I actually had to just disable the version that you had there and just install a new one on my own and put it there. So if anybody else has the same problem, here is the answer!
And also would be good to mention Ive just noticed that this also fixed some more problems Ive had so you can try this with any problem you have

When I first downloaded these(I've downloaded nothing else) I could easily find ender nodes as they were highlighted by a purple block. However now I can only see them occasionally /if/ I reset resource packs.

Which mod did you use for the TPS and the Ping? I can't find the config for them. The TPS just disappeared.
EDIT: I found the ping display on Skytils but the TPS is still missing

I am having trouble, as I am on mac, and it doesn't seem to work. I'll keep trying things to see if I can find the problem.
The modpack is really amazing but im having a problem that every 15-20 minutes my client fps goes to 0 for 10 seconds and then disconnect me from skyblock sending me to lobby by saying:"A Disconnect occurred in your connection, so you were put in the skyblock lobby". thank you so much, I hope you help me with that because i really like this modpack.
Is anyone else having issues with the names of items not showing?
When I try to open the prism launcher after download it tells me "the code execution cannot proceed because something wasn't found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem." I reinstalled it but it's still not working.

Ok so this is a good video and it has good results. Except, to anyone having the issue where text may turn invisible over certain items, the problem is with patcher. I would go ahead and download the latest version of patcher and put it in the mod folder that is being used. Also make sure to remove the previous version. the version you want i believe is 1.8.9. Hope this helps.

I have a Question. I have done every thing like you show in the viedeo the only Problem is the game wont start.
And the only thing I can see is difrent is that I got the Prismlauncher Version 8.3 insteed of 8.2. Is this a commen Problem ?

i'm having an issue using your mods where item names aren't visible in skyblock, is there a way to fix this?
I downloaded the mods but i have 1 anoying thing everytime i open a menu to sell something (npc,bazaar,ah) some of my items are highlighted only the ones that i should/can sell there but its really anoying do you have a fix?

Not sure if this is correct but wasn't there a huge vulnerability found in java 8? using java 11 or 17 was recommended (do not quote me on this as i only remember parts of that discussion..)
This was patched, and I forget where it is but either PrismLauncher or one of my mods has a fix for this vulnerability. You should be completely fine using this installation

Dear esteemed RUclipsr yesterday June 6th 2024 I decided to download this mod completely like the tutorial said however once completely everything fell apart as I was only getting 60fps then it would crash my entire PC however my friends who did the same thing has not had this issue and one of the friends even has a not as good as a PC as me the 60 fps is whatever (even tho I get more on other launchers) this one specifically prism decides to crash every time I use it why is that it’s completely unusable for me someone help thank you

Quick question about the logo PNG file, to get a blank PNG file does it require a blank PNG file or do i have to use a file with just 1 pixel on it?
I made a 1 pixel image that has no data (so it's just the alpha layer) and that worked fine. There are probably a handful of ways to do this, but that's just how I did it. If you want the exact image I use just ping me on discord (link in the description) and I'll give it to you

You can do it through the Prism Launcher by editing the install, or you can do it in game by going to "resource packs" and clicking the "open resource packs folder". You can also just open the installation folder on file explorer which you can find the buttons for in Prism
