    I’m not much for loom knitting but I might do this for socks lol. Everything else is such a struggle for me with them!

    Your tutorials are so easy to follow. I'm wondering if these socks are thin enough to wear with shoes? Or do I need an even smaller gauge for that

    Can a fingering weight no. 1 or 2 yarn be used or is the worsted the best weight

      You could but your sock is going to be significantly smaller. I would advise you to get a FG Fine gauge loom with 1/4” C2C peg spacing if you prefer smaller yarns. You’ll need more pegs though for gauge.

    i would love to make socks. i am in a knitting group that loom knits hats and scarves for the homeless. i recently heard that socks are one of the most needed items, so i want to make some. and obviously there is no way to measure their feet lol. i have the 24 peg round 5/8" loom. and have made socks on it, but they seem kinda loose. so i went to cindwood looms and they mentioned that they are working with you on socks. so i want to make adult mens/ladies socks. i see that they have a 3/8" GAUGE OVAL SOCK LOOM. what do you think is the correct number of pegs? should i get the 3/8" gauge? and should the loom be 44 pegs? i love your videos. and i would love to have your opinion on what would be the best gauge and the best number of pegs on the loom for me to make these socks. i really look forward to hearing back from you. thank you so much.

    I've no toes could you do a video on how to knit socks for folks such as Myself on the x loom? As I have a lot of swelling

    • @GoodKnitKisses
      @GoodKnitKisses  4 месяца назад

      For no toes I’d recommend only using two pegs on each end of the marked pegs for your short rows for just the toe part. It would round the end of your sock for a smooth more comfy fit. The heel though make the same as I show in the video. If you get more swelling in your feet you may want to measure for the size a few times depending on your swelling stage. I get that, too. Just adjust up to next loom size according to my chart and you should be fine. I still recommend the sock loom though. The X loom is awkward for making smaller socks. What gauge of X loom do you have?

      Very good detailed instructions 👏🏼, do you happen to have a cuff down sock tutorial?

      @GoodKnitKisses  4 месяца назад

      @@leticiagarcia2159 yes, the link and blog are in the video description above. It functions as more of a how to read a sock pattern by Leisure Arts and follows one of their patterns. But I do show a top down sock in the video.
