  • Hello everyone! Today, Sophia and I take a walk through The Citadel Mall in Colorado Springs. This mall is a vintage specimen of the 1980s. Opening as Colorado Springs first Mall in 1972, The Citadel has went through many expansions and saw great success in the 70s, 80s and 90s. The 2000s would start seeing struggles however, as anchors like Macy's left, many tenants would leave Citadel Mall and look for locations elsewhere. However, Citadel Mall still continues on with many locally owned stores filling in vacancies. Let's take a walk through The Citadel Mall in Colorado Springs and see how it's doing!

This brings back lots of memories. I lived in Colorado for 21 years from the 1970s to the 1990s.

I am from about 30 minutes out of colorado springs and used to go to this mall so much as a child, good to see that it is still open.

I'm glad this is THE mall I frequented as a kid. I'm STILL amazed by the food court. The kids play places are also underrated.

Wow, I haven't seen a mall this popular in many years. The foliage in the foodcourt area is a jaw dropper, beautiful!

@@ERA_Productions Lol. I do also like Auntie Anne's, but I got Pretzel Makers here in the Cheyenne Frontier Mall and I still like their stuff. Also one in the Greeley Mall.
